Server had great recommendations but it's hard to not go with the obvious choices - boil was perfectly spiced (shout out the sausage), CRAZY CRAB DIP WAS A MUST!! We had the place to ourselves so were able to loudly let the team know how good everything was. Totally would come back (Get a bib)

Nice casual hidden gem located in Ybor City. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and quickly seated right at dinner time. There were only two other tables with customers so business was slow I guess being a weeknight. There appeared to be one guy running the front of the house and one girl cooking orders but they knew what they were doing and did it well. All of our food was excellent! We started with fried green tomatoes which disappeared in seconds (paired well with their house "pink sauce"). The green mahi sandwich and seafood boil were both top notch and the chef sent me out a side of their hottest sauce for my order which was delicious! Hope to return when I'm in town again!

We came in 40 minutes before close (not ideal), but the staff was still so friendly and we never felt rushed. Amazing service I had never tried escargot, so I'm not sure how it compares, but I thought it was amazing! I was scared it would be chewy, but it wasn't. It was so tender, and the butter sauce was delicious. For the main course, 3 of us split a seafood boil. We got it medium heat and it was nice. They gave me spicy butter sauce on the side because I wanted spicier than the others I was with. But overall the boil didn't have much heat to it at all. Even with what they gave me on the side. I wasn't as impressed with the main course. I still liked it though! I would be interested to try their other options, but I'm not itching to go back. Overall rating: 4/5 stars

Went here for lunch, nice little hole in the wall place. At first wasn't sure about this place as we were the only ones in the restaurant and all the area traffic was obviously for the popular Cuban Restaurant close by ( not gonna say their name but I'm sure everyone knows.). Anyways there is a lot to park however the big downer is that its pay to park and @ $7 an hour a bit expensive if I may say so myself not even free parking for handicapped or Florida DV plates - big disappointment and main reason for 4 stars. Ordered the Mangle Clams with regular butter ( no Chile butter here) and the daily special - Shrimp Po' Boy Deluxe. Everything was cooked to order and hot when served. The clams were small and flavorful, in a butter/wine/garlic sauce served with 3 pieces of sliced toasted french bread to dip. The Shrimp Po' Boy Deluxe with the house made crab sauce was delish - must try. The Po' Boy could easily have a couple more shrimp but otherwise very tasty. Order the season potatoes instead of fries and this too did not disappoint. The restaurant was clean and staff friendly and helpful. The booths did have round table instead of square which made it a little odd to accommodate a table of 4 and only Pepsi products are available.

My wife and I were visiting from out of town and this place is delicious. The food was top tier and the service was even better. When my wife and I are back in town, we will for sure come back.

Florida Steam Pot - looks at the shrimp. When you peel them they are black and tasted like seawater. Terrible.

Service was fine. Food tasted like it was literally take out of the bay and just added to your plate. Everything was bland. The potatoes with garlic and Parmesan tasted like nothing. Like how does that even happen? Their shrimp coleslaw was so bad. I was so excited for it too. It actually tasted a little like spoiled milk. Not sure if the Cole slaw was bad or what. I will not be ever going there again. I'm actually on my way home with my brother and he's saying his stomach is starting to feel bad.we just left! We are never gong back!!

Small, unassuming spot in the Ybor district. I had a craving for fried shrimp and I found a spot that I would definitely hit up again. Very friendly and quick service as soon as I walked in. One server was working that spot and she was doing extremely well. Ordered the fried fish and shrimp platter with fries and hush puppies. Price was right, portion was great and the food was piping hot and fresh. Definitely worth the trip. Again, unassuming spot that you may pass by, but don't. Try this spot for some great seafood and quick service.

We visited this restaurant on a weekday and it was clean with friendly service. The food was delicious and is cooked to order. They're known for making their own batter & sauce which paired perfectly with the fish and shrimp. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

The vibe and decor of the Shrimp & Co needs a new and fresh look that build confidence with food quality. We were the only customers in the restaurant at 8:00 pm on a Friday.

Small little restaurant not much to look at however very tasty and some good solid seafood choices here! Really good onion rings and hush puppies and a stable down in Ybor for locals and guests alike. Until next review Kisses

Is this true?i had rock lobster or so I thought... it was a rock tail.

If they call it Rock Lobster, it probably is one of many warm water species, also called Spiny. There are about 60 different variants that are called Rock and Spiny. Warm water lobsters have no edible claw meat as do the cold water ones.

From the moment I sat down, I waited a while until I kindly asked for a menu. The barmaid gave it to me, without saying anything else. Then I had to notify her that I was ready to order, after waiting a few minutes. After I told her I wanted the Cuban sandwich, she said "okay" and walked away. She brought the plate to me, and set it in front of me without saying anything. Nor did she swing by, to ask how my food was. The guy with the dark haired bowl-cut was the ONLY one who asked how my food was, and he wasn't even my waiter! I was too kind to give her a tip anyway. Some people jussssst do not belong in customer service, if they lack communication skills or common sense. I didn't feel comfortable with staying there, after the cold reception from the barmaid, and left.
