Although the ambience is not to be compared, in any way, Rebels is the only place I know of outside of Jesse's Steakhouse where you can get a wedge salad and prime rib in Lebanon. Rebels opens at 9am and you can get breakfast sandwiches. They have eggs and cheese on a brioche bun with bacon, Canadian bacon or sausage. My sandwich was delicious. It also comes with French toast straws, or whatever you call them. They taste like sweet, fried, fun carnival fare. Happy hour is 4-7 for $3 beers and drinks. At time of writing, there are discounts on food, as well. $5 lunches from 12-3: burgers, hot honey fried chicken, cod and bbq pulled pork. And there once was a weekly prime rib special though you might want to call first to see. For the night owls: up until now, there was no place in Lebanon or West Lebanon that you could chill at until 1 am, reliably, other than the 24-hour Denny's. The hours -- at time of writing -- are Sun-Thursday 8am-1am. Friday- Saturday 8am to 2am.

Hanover is lucky to have this nonprofit theater to benefit its citizens and enhance the regional cultural basis. The Hanover Improvement Society helps fund the theater, as well as the Storrs Pond Recreation Area and the Campion Ice Rink. Yes, it is older and the old-style seats done recline, but if that's the best criticism of the place, it is a superb establishment. The Nugget is cozy, with a fairly good sound system in all its different cinemas. We just saw Wicked here, well attended with a good number of college students and older folk. Full (non-alcoholic) refreshments and giant pop corn buckets. We're lucky to have the theater and it merits our support

I rarely eat ice cream, but if I do, I prefer soft serve. This is not icy at all; it's quickly frozen to make it silky smooth. They serve two sizes: regular and large. The regular is a lot for me and the large is huge. If you desire, they will top it with sprinkles or maple crumbles (tastes much like crumbled New Orleans pecan pralines). I went for the maple crumbles. It may have been sugar overload, but we are on vacation! Go there! Mac's is the place to be!
