I came to Shultz K9 because my two year old dog was having trouble with separation anxiety and needed some more structure in his life. They did an amazing job teaching him how to obey commands and treating his anxiety. I enrolled my dog into there two week obedience class and a custom behavioral change class (for the anxiety). They explained everything they were going to do and how they were going to train. I am now able to walk my dog effortlessly without any pulling, he sits and lays down when I tell him too. He will now come when instructed and even stay when I command. For the anxiety, he is 10x better now and I can leave my apartment knowing that I will not have to worry about my dog being loud anymore. It is such a relief to know this and I have Shultz K9 to thank for this. My favorite part about the training was when I picked my dog up they do a class where they explain and showcase all of the training. They make sure to include you in this as well so they will show you first and then you get to try in front of them so you understand how to keep the training going in the future. Also in this time you can ask as many questions as needed and they will be able to answer for you and help you. They also have follow up classes after your training so they can check on your dogs training. This has been incredible for me and my dog because I am able to ask anymore questions I have and they will give tips for any new problems or concerns you have. If you are going to leave town they also have overnight boarding which is amazing. I have sent my dog once since the training has been completed and it keeps my mind at rest that they already know my dog and the commands so I do not have to worry one bit. They have a fantastic facility where they keep all the dogs. It is very clean and kept very well. They showed me where my dog was going to stay when I asked about it before dropping off for training. I felt very comfortable with the rooms they have for each dog. It is plenty of space to walk around and be comfortable. I want to mention how much they love dogs here. You can really tell that they want the best for all dogs and understand them. Everyday they will walk your dog every hour to make sure they get exercise. They ask about how often you clean your dogs feet, ears, body, etc to make sure that your dog is in the best condition possible. They even mentioned things I didn't know about taking care of dogs (we learn everyday). They will give your dog attention and really want the best for your dog. If you need a dog trainer this is the place to go. Mr. Shultz is a professional and his team that works with him is very knowledgeable. They know exactly what they are doing and will take great care of your dog. You also get the option to have follow up appointments which I would recommend doing because they are really helpful and other places might not offer something like this. Our 13 month Standard Poodle, FiFi, was full of energy and mischief!! We live in an over 55 community and the rules are very strict for dog owners. In order to have a dog here, she would need to be well trained and have great behavior. FiFi was very wild and definitely not trained. My concern was that she would jump on an eldery person and hurt them. There was also a lot of barking and nipping with her very sharp teeth. I hired a private trainer to come to the house and train FiFi and us. This was helpful, but unfortunately not enough. She was still wild and nipping with those sharp teeth. I enrolled her in classes with other dogs and that still wasn't enough training. My husband was searching on line and found a lot of you tube videos to use as a training tool, but that really wasn't helpful. We were getting pretty worried about being able to keep our baby under control for her safety and ours. Then my husband found the website for Shultz K9 Enforcement and told me we should look into it. I was completely against her going and staying there until the training would be completed. I thought it over and decided it wouldn't be fair to say no without going there to see what they had to offer. When I met Mr. Shultz and saw what his training was like, I was so impressed with him and his methods that I was willing to leave FiFi with this trusted, gentle, very strong man. She learned so quickly everything that she needed to learn to be the best pet we could ever imagine having. She was happy, in the best of health, and loved her training and trainers. The money and time spent was completely well worth it. WE HAVE A GREAT DOG TO ENJOY FOR MANY YEARS TO COME!!! But the story doesn't end there. Included in FiFi's tuition is endless handlers training for my husband and myself. If we have any questions or problems, we can go back for additional training to make sure we are continuing to keep FiFi well trained. Mr. Schultz is there for us indefinitely at no extra charge. We have gone back four times so far to make sure we are doing our part of the handler's job correctly. FIFI IS SO EXCITED TO SEE ALL THE TRAINERS. SHE JUST LOVES THEM!!! So do we.!! I do not usually write reviews ever. I am not the type of person that bites on "Hey leave us a review" because I find the practice disingenious. The fact I am even writing a review currently speaks to the amazing service I have received from Shultz. I have a rescue named Buddy who was a very very difficult behavioral problem. Buddy was super aggressive, very destructive, unruly, disobedient, not friendly...He is a textbook rescue. I was very skeptical on the effectiveness of training from Shultz because it just seemed like Buddy was going to fight his way through it. I really thought on the first week, I was basically throwing away $$ and my Buddy was gunna fight the training. Luckily his trainers Max and Paul, were more patient than I. Buddy worked with Max the most but there were days Paul was with him and I have to say both of these trainers are consistent, and they are patient. They are the most informative Dog Trainers I have ever met. They are very relatable people, very easy to talk to, and above all else, very helpful. Evidence of this came with the progression of Buddy who would want to bark both of them out of the room, but by the time training was over, Buddy fell in love with both. I am very sure he will miss going to see Max and Paul. In the time I took private lessons with these guys, Buddy became a night and day difference. He is happier, much friendlier, he has the right tools to combat his Thunder Anxiety thanks to Max and Paul's suggestions of what to get for him at home. Buddy knows all basic training commands and hes had the most fun doing them with Max. The dog he is now and the Dog he was before he walked in Shultz door the first time, are completely different. I entered this experience expecting the worst, and left this experience better for it. I got the best I think I'll ever get from any Dog Trainers. Max and Paul are life savers. I am a smarter Doggie Parent, of a Very Happy dog, and I credit this to the time I have spent at Shultz with Max and Paul. I do hope to return at a later date just to visit and see them again. This was money well-spent, time well-spent, an experience I encourage anyone with a rescue dog to look into. Shultz, if I could give yall more stars, I would. You guys did right by me. I had gone to a few different obedience training options before finding Fritz and his team via Instagram. We met for a consultation and agreed that the board and train would be best for my 1year old Frenchie -Beau. The day came to drop Beau off and I couldn't do it. I literally had a panic attack as I have not been away from my dog for more than a shift at work since he was born and the thought of being away from him for 2 weeks was too much to take. I texted Fritz and Ashley and explained my predicament fully expecting them to uphold the signed contract and tell me to drop off the dog for training. But I got the total opposite. They understood and calmed my fears and changed everything to accommodate me and my schedule to do private sessions. By the end of the first session I saw small changes in Beau's behavior and by the end of the second session we were making leaps and bounds in his progress. He had gone from jumping on people, pulling on the leash, not listening to any commands unless you have food in your hand to being polite and not jumping on people. Walking on my left side next to me whether he was on his leash or not. If I stop walking he stops, he sits when told, he stays even with numerous distractions including other dogs, people walking by, loud cars driving past. He lays down when told even from a distance. This is a completely different dog and we had an amazing relationship before this training but it has gotten so much better since the training. I could not be happier with Max-Beau's Trainer, Fritz, Ashley, and the rest of the team! I highly recommend the team to train your dog for whatever you need whether it be obedience, advanced obedience, protection, security they do it all and they do it all with heart and compassion. I feel sad that tomorrow is Beau's last session with Max but I hope to continue on possibly with advanced obedience in the near future! This has been well worth EVERY CENT and truly an eye opening experience of you get what you pay for going through the other big box store's "Smart" training that didn't work Shultz K9 enforcement made me a promise to improve my dogs behavior and our relationship and they did that and then some! read more

We brought home a year-old heartworm positive pointer mix from the shelter six months ago. Kelce soon displayed serious behavior problems and this out-of-control behavior became a safety concern for us. The techniques we used in the past did not work. Our training through a pet store was ineffective. In fact, his behavior was so embarrassing and disruptive, we discontinued the training after three lessons out of respect for others in the class We engaged Shultz K-9 Enforcement for training. We opted for individual sessions and were amazed at how profound and quick the improvements were. After only nine sessions, we had to pause for two months for the heartworm treatment. But just those nine sessions gave us the tools to control Kelce and keep him calm thru his heartworm treatment. When we resumed training, we continued the individual sessions to complete advanced obedience and service dog training. Our friends and neighbors can hardly believe Kelce is the same dog they saw a few months ago. Yesterday, I was walking with Kelce off leash in our neighborhood and a couple said "what a well-behaved dog he is!" I proudly thanked them and said "you should have seen him a few months ago." They said "We know. We helped you corral him when he got loose and was running wild." I remembered the incident. What a transformation it has been! Today, after very happy and easy walks, Kelce came with us shopping at Home Depot, Aldi's and Publix with a lunch at a restaurant. He was perfect. At lunch we looked down at him resting under the table quietly and said "did you ever think this would be possible?" Shultz K-9 made this wonderful day possible. As surprising as the training result is, we are even more amazed how the training has deepened Kelce's bond with us and how much happier he seems. We joke that he behaves better off leash because he's worried about losing us! We give our highest recommendation to Shultz K-9 in general and our trainer Paul in particular. We brought home an eighteen month old pointer mix from the shelter who was heart worm positive. Kelce was terrible on the leash and the techniques we used to leash train other dogs did not work on him. He pulled incessantly and lunged at every dog, squirrel, lizard or leaf that moved. As he would soon begin his heart worm treatment which required him to be calm and quiet for two months, we were quickly running out of time to get him under control. Overactivity during this treatment time could result in his death, so we began to look for some professional help. We engaged Shultz K-9 Enforcement, Inc for training. We were only able to get 9 training sessions in before Kelce's treatment began. Shultz gave us all the techniques and tools to manage his treatment period in just a few sessions and ALWAYS was responsive to our questions and requests. Kelce is much better on his walks and remains calm when engaging with the world. Additionally, we had tools to calm him down in the home. I had amazing experience with Fritz Shultz . My Labrador was dealing with lots of aggressive behavior towards other dogs people and kids on bicycles. I went through so many trainers with my dog and it was just waste of time and money .As he got older it got worse to the point that I was thinking of putting him down as much as I love him he was making my life impossible to enjoy. I decided to do some more research on other trainers and I found Shultz k9 . I thought to myself I will give my dog another try . I called Fritz he came to my house evaluated my dog he asked about my main concerns , he explained me everything how the training works etc. when fritz started to train Bailey he was very patient with him and me explain to me everything from A to Z . We brought our 4 month old wild puppy to Fritz for a 2 week board and train. Prior to bringing her in she was reactive and excitable to a point of complete frustration. We have two young boys with nonverbal autism, both on opposite ends of the spectrum and unfortunately for our puppy she was getting mixed feedback and inconsistent corrections which deepened the problem. We also have teams of therapists and analysts that are in and out of the house daily. To put it lightly, her maladaptive behaviors were taking a toll on everyone. After a detailed interview and intake, Fritz and his team took our unruly puppy and returned to me a calm, well mannered and affectionate pup. She had a moment after I picked her up today where she broke from her sit position next to me, quickly corrected herself and sat back down and looked to me for direction. I took him to a real world situation (took him to the groomers) and my dog was quite literally the same as I dropped him there behaviour wise. While I was there they were filming me and sort of pushing my to give them answers they wanted and pushing me to sign the release form. My dog had already gone through the courses they sold me. Would not recommend either they completely deceived me, lied to me or just took advantage of me. Also came back with completely yellow teeth (were pearly white before) and full blown diarrhea. read more

I want to start off by saying SHULTZ K9 is the best and I mean absolutely BEST trainer and training facility in the state of florida! I have been a customer for a few years. I've had multiple dogs trained here. My 1 year old German shepherd was the first to go when she was 5 months old and then i purchased a female Dutch shepherd named Rajka who is hands down the 2nd best purchase right behind storm. Shultz and his team not only train your dog to behave how your want and performer how you want where ever you are. They take the time and due diligence to train the handler which is always the hardest part. I can't not recommend them enough. Took my year old puppy James Bond to Shultz k9 enforcement as I don't know the first thing about training a puppy on my own. When I arrived my idea was to get training sessions -- after consultation Mr Shultz gave me options for one on one sessions or 2 weeks of full boarding /training . I am happy I did the 2 weeks of boarding and training as not only was James fully on the leash trained when I arrived back but It was a great experience learning to how Boarding works As it gave James structure to go off of versus having a crazy 1 year old puppy. They also were able to help him gain some weight which I'm thankful for ! I plan to take James back for follow up for on leash training and starting off leash training soon too!! Also , will be using boarding / day care option when I go out of town as James took well to and I truly feel part of Shultz family and am comfortable with facility as they kept me well informed too . Just recently flew from Maryland to Fort Lauderdale to purchase K9 Raptor from Shultz. When I spoke to him when I was recovering from a horrible accident/divorce, Shultz listened to my needs and matched me with the correct dog. when I arrived, I was surprised to see that Raptor was actually better than described. I couldn't have asked for a higher quality protection dog. you don't need IGP titled to have a "protection dog". Raptor isn't even titled but is well qualified. I was able to fly him back from Miami to DCA on first class without any issues. Raptor didn't even bark once. He is crate/platform trained, clean, and respectful. Of course it takes time for the dog to get used to a new handler, but Shultz was there to answer and questions I have. I will be coming back to him in a month or 2 for a follow up and to thank Shultz for keeping it real with me! read more

Our chocolate lab (not yet 2 yrs) was very stubborn and hyper, even after puppy training. He wouldn't obey commands without being given treats. Our vet recommended Shultz K9. After initial evaluation, we left him for two weeks for basic training while on a vacation. We were completely satisfied with the results. He is now well behaved on the leash (even in the car) and follows commands without having to be rewarded. Even our neighbors noticed a complete turnaround. Shultz provided follow up visits and worked with us to reinforce his good behavior. Everyone we have encountered at Shultz has been friendly and accommodating. They are very thorough and actually watch you work with the dog during follow-up to correct what you may be doing wrong. We are hoping to continue with off-leash training soon. read more

Mr Shultz and his trainers did an impeccable job training my dog, Bubba. Bubba is a rescue from Puerto Rico and from the first day I adopted him has been extremely scared of humans, loud noises, & many many other things most dog aren't typically afraid of... Bubba stayed two weeks at Mr. Shultz's facilities and came back a whole new fury man. Having Bubba trained here really changed his life in such an amazing way, and I couldn't be more grateful for this crew! I learned so much and now feel very confident in using those tools to lead Bubba to a happier, stress-free life. We are still in training with our 7 month old labradoodle puppy (mostly poodle) who is hyper vigilant to distractions. Any movement, noise, smell, etc. will take her attention. We want to be able to walk her off leash with our older labradoodle. Mr. Shultz is an excellent trainer and has made a lot of progress in keeping her attention and sharpening her response to commands. He has also been training me - ! - I have learned how to properly reinforce our training at home. As a trainer, he is kind, respectful but disciplined. I have also seen the results with other dogs in training while I have been there. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of dog behavior and response. I would highly recommend Shultz K9 Enforcement for your pup. While they do offer dogs for protection and law-enforcement, they train all breeds. In my opinion, training is an ongoing thing. It's like exercising. You can't do it once and have it last forever. You always have to keep at it. We signed up for a mini refresher course and had fantastic results after just one class. I'll admit, it was more my behavior than Kimber that needed the correcting. L O L. But it's true that your feelings travel down the leash. Not only did they work with Kimber but they also worked with me. It was money very well spent. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I'm hoping to maybe do some scent work classes with Kimber next. read more
