Sept. 22, 2018 Unfortunately I disagree with the previous…read morereviews. I had a terrible experience. I have 2 Schnauzers and I trusted Del Valle for their grooming. On my texts before the grooming day he said that there will me a "de-matting fee". Schnauzers cuts are shaved 3/4 tops of their body and left the bottom part and their legs hairy... That is not what I found when I get back home. I brushed my dogs the night before to make it easier. There was some matting but nothing a scissor and brush could fix. I have had Lhasa Apsos for 20 years and if someone really know hows about de-matting a dog is me. I'm just crazy busy. (Wo aren't) Del Valle, rather to spent a one hour or two (and charge me) with a scissor and a brush de-mattig the bottom part of my dogs (which wasn't that bad), without consent just shaved them all the way to their skin and gave me back two rat-looking dogs. I came home and was horrified with it. And charged me $150 Unfortunately, I will not use him again and will not recommend him. Totally unprofessional. As a groomer is easy to say "you should groom your dogs every 6 weeks". But when the time comes to REALLY show your skills and give back a beautiful dog and show that you can go the EXTRA MILE to please a client, you failed miserably! I don't feel good doing this review but no dog owner should NEVER have to go thru this disappointment. The only thing differently that he did that my cleaning lady couldn't do was to cut their nails.

I explained that my cat was currently taking cough medicine and asked what I needed to bring for his stay. I was told to bring his food and that it was okay to bring his medication, so I understood that there would be no issue boarding him. When we arrived, we were suddenly told that they could not accept him because he was sick. During the drive, my cat had an accident in his carrier because he was scared and stressed from traveling to a new place. One employee reassured me that they could clean him up and that everything was fine for him to stay. However, while I was completing the paperwork, another employee came over and said they could not take him after all because he was sick. The conflicting information was extremely frustrating and disappointing. If their policy is not to accept pets that are taking medication or are ill, that should have been clearly communicated during my phone call before I made the trip. Instead, I was given different answers by multiple employees, which caused unnecessary stress for both me and my cat.
