This particular blind fabric has a woven look with a rich sheen and compliments the wood cabinets so well. When I chose blinds for the house over 20 years ago I chose Hunter Douglas. They have been opened and closed daily without any problems for all these years. The price has increased over time but the product is a quality blind and has been worth the investment.

They squirted lubricant with one of the little straws like WD 40 (I have same stuff from Home Depot) into storm shutter tracks. I feel robbed. All I can say is buy Blaster Silicone Lubricant from Home Depot for 6.95 and just squirter into tracks and save yourselves big money. The service guys were nice and felt bad about charging such an exorbitant fee. Two stars just because of service men but otherwise a solid 1 star. Not happy .

"Excellent" is hardly enough to describe how our entire window and door replacement process went!…read more It began with a visit from Rob, the highly knowledgeable sales rep. He gave a thorough and comprehensive explanation of every aspect of the window, sliding door, and front door replacement. Our first estimate did not include replacement of three trapezoidal windows and one rectangular window above the front door. Once we realized that these existing windows were not impact-resistant, I requested that they be added to the job. Rob came and did extensive measurements, then he returned again with an even more experienced expert to confirm everything. The preliminary work must have been spot on, because these trouble-windows went in with little difficulty. Except for the large section of termite-damaged wood that the installer uncovered and, of course, completely removed and replaced. Given the special geometric and installation requirements, the finished product is incredible. The installation crew was technically expert. In addition, each one had a real concern for the extensive interior memorabilia throughout the home that we were unable to relocate before the work. Everything was covered and protected from both dust and inadvertent contact. This gave us the confidence not to worry about damage, and of course there was none. The final process involved filling holes in the stucco made by the removal of ancient sliding shutters, installing new trim around the three trapezoidal windows, and touch-up painting, including the new front door. Once again, extreme care was given to protecting the inside of the house near the door and the exterior screened entrance. The work was neat and thorough, and the final cleanup was total and complete I can't recommend Armored Dade highly enough. In my relatively brief stay in Florida, I of course have not avoided the countless TV commercials for window replacement: 0% off; buy 1 get 1; get 4; etc. Rob made no mention of any "deals" at his initial visit because with a top-quality product installed by a top-quality firm, there is no need for gimmicks.

Approximately two weeks later, someone attempted to electronically deposit the check again. If it were not for my bank catching the mistake and reversing the charges, I could possibly have been double billed. It seems as though someone from the company should have caught this oversight. I did bring this to their attention and blamed it on a clerical error.
