I just completed the Beginner Photography series through Shutterbug today. The course consisted of 4 sessions plus a class outing. The money and time spent on this series were well worth it. I'm leaving the course with a much better understanding of my camera, the way it operates, and how to adjust a myriad of functions/settings to get the type of photo I want. I just finished this class and I found the information very helpful. The camera my husband bought was overwhelming and by the end of 4 classes I feel so much more comfortable with the camera and the lenses. The "take it until it clicks" policy allows you to come back and have a review any time you need a refresher. I am also more comfortable with what to do with the pictures once I am done taking them. While the class doesn't cover photoshop or other photo processing programs it gives you an introduction to them. I took the introductory photography training and had a very positive experience. After taking the course, I now feel like I'm equipped to fully utilize my nikon d3300 camera.
