MORE importantly, the owners live in a different country, and manage the electrical system for AMI Beach Home from their home abroad. We were UNABLE to use the SPA for several days while the problem was being DISTANTLY resolved. The MOST significant issue was that we were WITHOUT Wi-Fi for six days, a MAJOR inconvenience to us during our stay . After almost a week of the owner trying to fix the problem from abroad, it was finally resolved. We have called multiple times and have been told, repeatedly, that we need to submit a written request for our complaint (which we did). Therefore, this is our second email request for a response and a full refund for our recent fiasco of a trip booked with your company. We are requesting the $100 ($50 each) be reimbursed to us for our inconveniences. We are extremely disappointed in the service we received on our recent trip from Miami and expect a prompt response. Contrary to the many negative reviews online regarding your company, your services came highly recommended by our travel agent. Thus, we booked our round trip to Port of Miami through Red Line Shuttle. I can only hope the travel agent will change their stance going forward once we have notified them of the ridiculous circumstances and lack of communication we had to endure. The service (or lack thereof) was deplorable, at best. The conditions were unbearable and the lack of communication, both at time of service and since have been a completely unacceptable way to do business. On Saturday, May 18th, we were booked for our return trip from Miami Port to Brandon. The van that picked us up was beyond disappointing. Despite the need of a thorough cleaning, the air conditioning was not functioning and there was no communication from the driver regarding the inconvenience. Shortly after making a drop-off and pick-up, we made an additional stop, apparently for the driver to get lunch (which he later ate as he was driving at excessive speeds down the interstate). A subsequent stop was made less than an hour later for gasoline. At neither of these stops did we pick-up, nor drop-off, passengers. Why wasn't that handled at the first stop? We witnessed speeds in excess of 80 mph for the majority of the trip. The driver was often tailgating and weaving in and out of traffic, all while eating and/or checking his phone at those speeds. Lastly, the van broke down approximately 40 miles from our destination (possible broken wheel bearing). So, in the FL heat, we are not only in a vehicle that has NO air conditioning, we are now sitting on the side of the road, stranded. I believe the driver called for a backup, but that wasn't conveyed to us for at least 10 minutes. In the meantime, we had contacted someone to come pick us up. We figured it would be quicker since they weren't very far, not to mention safer and MUCH more comfortable than what we had been subject to for the past 3-4 hours. A second driver showed up, but we weren't taking any chances with the replacement and waited the additional 5-10 minutes for our own ride home. We feel the lack of communication and deplorable conditions warrant a full refund ($100) for our disastrous trip. As I stated, we have called numerous times and no one wants to assist and/or listen to us. They simply continue to state that we need to send an email. We did and still haven't heard back. This is our final attempt to handle this nicely and allow your company to make amends for such a reprehensible experience. Then we came back today and we got off the ship early so I'm thinking to myself I really don't feel like waiting an hour for the shuttle plus my mother has a walker and I didn't want her waiting either and again to my surprise the driver was out there early and it made my day. Your parking spot has your room number. There's not a lot of extra parking, but I don't think it's needed. The room: room3 was small. It had a very comfortable bed, two chairs, tv, microwave, toaster, mini fridge, coffee maker all in one room. Kind of like a typical hotel room. The bathroom was small. I did like that they had dimmer in the bathroom. They do offers toiletries: shampoo, bar soap. The bed was comfortable. The AC worked well. The room had two doors. The back door opened up to a cute shared patio and the pools The pools: the one facing the street has a grill you can use. This is also where you can find beach chairs, ice chest, carts. Both pools have clean pool towels. The other pool has a hot tub, but we eventually figured out you have to turn it on for heat at least 10 mi prior to going in. The beach: nearby. Probably a 5 min walk down a dead end street. The beach was nice. Not too many people in that area. Of course, you won't find any service in that part. That's where the beach chairs that you can borrow come in handy. Extras: many restaurant nearby. You can walk to some. There's a trolley that passes by often that takes you to hot spots. The trolley is free.
