Google review:…read more Writing this review after contacting the company directly. Management dismissed my concerns and disappointments. So much for customer satisfaction. They do not care. The following is excerpts from my email to inform them of the mistakes. My daughter's bridal shower was this past weekend. The flavor of the cake was a huge disappointment. Ordered was lemon with raspberry filling. UNACCEPTABLE: the filling was pure white and did not have a hint of raspberry. The lemon cake was edible (not great, rather bland) and moist and would have been delightful with raspberry filling. Instead, it was barely edible and fell short of the design we requested. The cake presentation was not like the photos I provided, but I was able to salvage the cosmetic appearance by adding more greenery. I am aghast that I spent that much for such a mistake. The response was defensive that no mistakes were made and terse with no solution offered. First: I was told I don't know what raspberry tastes like: "Regarding the filling, our decorator has confirmed that the cake contained raspberry mousse between the 2-Layers. For clarity, our raspberry mousse is a white mousse base with real raspberries mixed in. Have you tried this specific filling with us previously?" Not a hint of raspberry flavor as confirmed by the 15 guests. But what do we know. "While we sincerely regret that the cake did not meet your expectations, we have determined that the order was fulfilled as requested. Consequently, we are unable to offer a price adjustment for this order." The last email I sent was ignored. I wanted an acknowledgement of poor executive and perhaps a slight price adjustment or refund to be applied to a future order to encourage my return. Nada. Nothing. As a community service, I recommend you go elsewhere.

The service at Nancy Jo's was exceptional. I stopped by while in the Farmer's Market one Sunday evening. The desserts were fresh. The space was clean and easy to navigate and I found all of our favorite desserts. Although I enjoyed all that I purchased I had the coconut pie, my mom enjoyed the carrot cake, and my sister (a picky eater) was completely overjoyed by the red velvet slice. We are red velvet and carrot cake connousarirs and if we say it's delicious, that is the truth. Anyone reading this who may be second-guessing desserts here - DON'T. The women behind the counter was the owner. she said she's had the truck for a few years and had been serving the community locally. her ideal was to open a brick and mortar shop somewhere as well. The donut holes they sell are their 'vegan bites'. they are air fried balls of dough made out of various vegan ingredients. Afterwards, they drizzle it with homemade sauces. The homemade chocolate with coconut flakes were my favorite followed by the powered sugar (dirty snow). The vegan ones are made with regular flower, while the gluten free ones are made from a sweet potato base or cassava. they also made some kind of sweet potato french fries with a mustard sauce that was pretty interesting and unique. The bites that you get are fairly pricey, but you are paying for a unique experience. vegan donuts! If you are in the apex area (301 E William St, Apex NC 27502), they have a food truck Definitely a place to check out when in the area. you won't regret this decision!

Some things were out of stock, and they seemed to be at the tail end of some of the things I wanted to try. Overall a good concept for an untapped vegan dessert food truck market. Kitoko Bites was my first time trying vegan (like donuts) desserts from a food truck. I look forward to trying the Kitoko Bites food truck at its normal location at the State Farmers Market, perhaps there will be more variety, and the truck will be more prepared for customers.
