Increasing my stars and editing my review to add the artist did text me and apologise. That's not very common anymore. Disclaimer. I did NOT get a tattoo here. Called Sic ink on my lunch break from work to see if they could take walk ins like their website says. They informed me they do not for tattoos but a lot of times they can do same day appointments. The artist gave me her number to text her design. I texted it over (it's just a silly small tat) at which point she said she'll be in the shop until 3:45 that day. I responded saying I'd be able to get there by 3:30 and she said sounds good. Well 3:30 rolls around. I'm there as stated. And the door was locked. Texted her and she called me and told me that she had left for the day. Like bro. A simple text telling me would've taken 5 seconds and saved me the drive and gas. It's not a huge deal because I live close but what if someone would've driving 30+ minutes for that. Just messed up in my opinion. read more

Please note, this studio has relocated to Apollo Beach! He no longer works in Riverview! Stu has been out for quite a bit and I was so excited when he re-opened shop! Stu's work is amazing and his creativity is astounding! He works such magic with the multitude of colors and always listens when you're pitching your tattoo design and ideas. He's realistic with his abilities and is a really kind guy. He doesn't make you feel awkward or uncomfortable while getting your tattoo done. His studio is always clean, and he takes pride in ensuring he has comfortable environment for his clients. Stu is a big family guy and takes pride in engaging in the community through community events! He also does environment clean ups and tries to give back to the community. He's a great person who has amazing and awesome artwork. In addition, he's reasonably priced as well! Stu is pretty flexible with his schedule long as you work with him! He's completed a large space themed piece on my right shoulder, and I'll definitely be going back to have him finish the upper half of the sleeve. I went with my mom today to have her owl done before she relocated to the West coast and it came out beautiful! I'm so excited to be going back to get more work done! read more

My coworkers/awesome friends wanted to get tattoos to celebrate my birthday. We had all previously agreed on something small and cute. Our other coworkers had suggested this place (and tat artist Paula) because she is awesome and the location is close to where we work. They were spot on! Paula was such a great tattooist as well as a freaking awesome person!! She was knowledgable and gave us advice on how to place/size our tattoos. She was super welcoming and I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. The tats came out great and a free touch-up is included in the price. Tattoo minimum price is $40 which was well worth it. The shop is located in a sketchy strip mall on 301, but the inside is very clean and all tools are clean as well. I haven't had a problem with my tat and I would definitely return here for my future art. Great place full of great people. Excellent work, good prices and an awesome experience. read more

My son and I traveled to Apollo Beach and got tattoos from Sic Ink with Erin Harper. We both showed her what we wanted, and she changed them up a little bit to be personal to us! She squeezed us in her schedule, took her time, was very patient with my son for his first tattoo, and we are very happy with the tattoos we received. My first and last experience at Sic Ink was uncomfortable, First it was dirty they claim it to be " Family Oriented " but we were there for piercings The guy David doing the piercings was excellent, clean, organized and very comforting. The piercings turned out great ! I was going to get a tattoo as well but Paula seemed like she had an attitude because ,we were there with a child ,the girls that were working seemed bothered by the fact that there was a child there but like I said they claim to be Family Oriented . My personal opinion on the tattoo artists we're they we're tacky , They looked unprofessional and sloppy the place was not clean except for the piercing room , David was clean, smelled good and was very professional the establishment on the other hand grimmy the tattoo girls sloppy. read more
