Since it had been 18 months and two missed birthday tattoos (because I moved to Portland OR,) I decided to get 3 birthday tattoos for each kid since we were only ahead by a few months on each kid's birthday. I also wanted to get a lion done and sent Don photos ahead of time for ideas. I absolutely love my lion capped and surrounded by peonies. It is gorgeous and that large piece only took him 3 hours. I've been tattooed by 5 other people and Don has a very light touch and I always heal super fast. I absolutely love these new additions to my arms but I'm disappointed I'll have to come back in a few years for the next set of birthday updates!!

Instead he made a dynamic contrast of the color, the ember is red, his eyes have some "Y" veins, even the eye lids have a white/light blue highlight to give this tattoo life.
