Delicious breakfast sammies and quick service! :) Tried a latte with cayenne for the first time and have to say I was impressed by the subtle heat that is left lingering after each tasting. A nice drive thru if you have to keep moving or a good spacious and bright interior for those that want to meet with friends or do some studying.

Who knew in Waterloo! I travel often, and this hands down was the best cup of Joe I have had in a long time! Absolutely, Mouthwatering good!

Half my coffee order.

I had a large order for a crew 10 minutes after they opened. My order had many special requests and the crew not only filled the order accurately and fast (something rarely seen) but with a smile and made me feel like they appreciated my business.

Hip new coffee spot for me- there are a few in the Waterloo and Cedar Falls area so today was my day to give it a try. Seasonal coffee blends- lattes- are really great and fun. "Christopher Robin" lavender and honey, " Bluesbells" blackberry, green tea latte- fun stuff. Energy bites - price is steep at $3 for 3 and they are small and pretty plain. Customers are professionals and a table of high school students actually reading and talking! Enjoyed it for sure!

People were friendly. Although I've had great luck at other SC locations today something was off.

Loved this place! Got an iced vanilla latte and it was delicious. A little expensive but worth it!

Fantastic beer selection. Excellent food. Reasonable prices. Single speed checks all the boxes!…read more I've stopped at Single Speed several times when passing through, and always enjoyed the experience. The flatbread is huge--at least two meals' worth--as are the salads. Beer's available in full pours, half pours, and flights, so it's easy to sample a few in one sitting. And don't miss the specials--especially inventive soups. There's plenty of seating options, too--a nice patio, bar stools, and a couple rooms full of tables and booths. Cheers!

This property is enormous, and I imagine it would be a really great place for a family reunion or…read moregathering! There is ample space inside and out, and it's all very open and clean, though the inside dining areas are separated into large rooms, which I think would help with noise control when it's busy. We visited around 7:45 on a Friday evening in August and found it remarkably not crowded, but they have another location in Cedar Falls that probably draws a larger crowd. We were at the Waterloo location, which probably caters to a lot of business people and business travelers during the week. We ordered a lot of food for two people, and it was all excellent, but I rate this cool place four stars because all the food came out of the kitchen at once and we were totally overwhelmed. If it had been paced, I think we could have pulled it off, and as travelers, we couldn't really take leftovers with us to have another day. Our server was extremely helpful and patient helping me understand their beverage selections. I enjoy a good cocktail or a glass of good wine, but my beer tastes are even more limited, but SingleSpeed offered up the perfect solution: the SingleSpeed-a-rita. This is made with their Ring Around the Gose, tequila, agave, and lime juice. That hit the spot on a hot Friday night in Iowa!

The "ambiance" lights were just general light xmas light strings (which you could see they were…read moregreen corded) criss crossed in a zig zag patter-ish hanging from the ceiling from what looked like string. Only created a sense of a girls' college dorm room, not a warm, friendly place to find while navigating downtown. There was not a high level of noise, which was refreshing, but I felt as if I was being watched when I was the only one there. One thing that I was put-off by was this number counter thing on the counter. I guess it showed how many reviews they received on Facebook. Not the type of decoration I see at other coffee places. I enjoyed the drink I ordered, but heaven's sakes could it be ANY more expensive!!!! I was just trying a new place and now almost regret it. Oh, and when I tried to order some food off the menu they didn't have any of the ingredients for what I wanted. Only some of the spicy stuff I cannot eat. There was some merch to purchase, however there were very few options and I did not see any options for sizes of the t-shirts. The prices were not listed so I needed to ask one of the employees. Unfortunately it took a bit to get her attention and by then I was no longer interested. In all honesty, avoid this place and keep walking. The prices are outrageous, the ambiance is college dorm girly at best and it feels as if the employees are watching and judging you.
