We got here about 11:30am Tuesday & was welcomed immediately by a smiling & friendly host, Kayden. She took our order then we went inside to sit & wait on our order. It's very family oriented & the food was just a little better than ok.. We do feel that almost a 25 minute wait was a little too long. I had the fat panda & loaded wedges & it was ok. I ordered the BBQ nachos and they were very good There was a generous amount of toppings on the nachos. I ordered they to-go to take next door to Mississippi Ale House, but SideStreet does have a small seating area indoors where you can eat after picking up from the counter outside. I ordered online & got a message when my food was ready to pick up. When I went to the area to pick up, I had to wait a while for someone to come out and give me my food. There is no bell/button to communicate to the staff that someone is outside at the counter to pick up food/place an order, so you just have to wait for someone to come outside. read more

Tonight picked up some SideStreet because we had a busy day of work work starting at 0600 followed by a couple hours of chopping and stacking wood. Got 2x gyros, 1 street burger, and 1 patty melt. Sides were 2x slaw, 1 Queso Mac and cheese and 1 old bay wedges. Everything was, as always, really good. I want to add some extra info re: the gyro in case you order it. First of all it says it comes with "Ziki sauce" and then offers an add-on of tzatziki sauce if you wish. From what I gathered the "ziki" listed in the "what it comes with" description IS tzatziki sauce so it wasn't necessary for me to have spent the 2x $1.50 for extra tzatziki sauces for each of the gyros. Which brings me to point 2 - ummm yeah you better order that extra tzatziki sauce my friend because the pita is thick and a little dry. However the 2 tzatziki sauces made it better. The tzatziki sauce was good, not great, it didn't separate exactly but even after stirring it didn't combine completely either. I'm sure there is a culinary or chemistry term for what it was/did but I don't know it. All in all though this was a very successful visit and once again quite delicious. read more

We were having a drink at Mississippi Ale House next door and I talked my husband into ordering from here- my food recommendation privileges have been revoked. They messed up our order (only gave us part) after he asked multiple times if this was the complete order. When he went back they argued with him about the order cost- he had to show what he was charged. They decided to fix the other half of the order while the first part got cold. They got the second part of the order wrong (gave us less than we paid for). No offer for credit or to improve the experience. We ate a half cold/ half wrong order because we were starving and had already been charged. IF you order from here- don't pay ahead of time- and don't tip ahead of time. We tipped more than 20% online were treated like they don't need customers. If you are at Mississippi Ale House there are other food choices. read more

Food was pretty solid. Service was super slow today and no one was even there (waited over 30 minutes after we ordered) but I heard that it isn't usually like that..? Idk. There was a couple that had been waiting the same amount of time as us but after we got our food, ate it all, and waited around for an additional 20 minutes, they still didn't get their food by the time we left (probably 1 hour total) Their "potato wedges" aren't even wedges, they are just potatoes sliced sideways. Another lunch with the boss on my business trip led us to this place. I didn't realize it was take-out only, but that wasn't a big deal. I had already made up my mind on a Southwest Salad from perusing their menu on Yelp, and the server was very helpful in assisting my boss with his choice. When I got back to the office and opened the container, I was a little disappointed in the fact that the dressings for this type of salad were three ranch and one barbecue sauce. However, the combination really did work. Overall, everything was great, and it was so filling that I didn't even want supper that evening. Boss reported his grilled cheese and tomato soup were also very good. Sounds crazy to say I didn't get a burger from a burger shop. But... reading over the menu and seeing their Spicy Pork Tacos grabbed my attention, and I couldn't pass up good tacos. The tacos were great, and full of flavor! Special pineapple pico and a spicy Mayo packed a ton of flavor into the taco. The pork wasn't dried out and was super tender and well-seasoned. Maybe a little greasy, but I personally don't mind that. 4 tacos of normal corn tortilla size at $8 was also super reasonable on price, and it wasn't just meat and a tortilla. I ordered the Caleb's "Mean Event" 1/2 lb. Burger with Garlic Potatoes. My husband ordered the Watchu Talkin' Bout Patty Melt with the Loaded Potato Wedges. I had never tried Gordon cheese before -- and I'm not sure that I care for it -- but I still enjoyed my burger. It was tender and juicy and the basil pesto was really good. The garlic potatoes were even better! I highly recommend the garlic potatoes over the loaded, after sampling my husband's dish. Overall, not quite a 5-star experience but a good one nonetheless.
