My memory is that everything else was a la carte - and the side dishes were overpriced. Stopped by again in December of 2025 - delightful experience! Rick had a burger with LTOP (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle) and I greatly enjoyed the Three Little Pigs - so much deliciousness wrapped up in one sandwich! Service was great. They have lots of seating - but no televisions for watching sports. Will definitely return.

We placed our order and waited. A few more tables filled. A few tables left. We waited. And waited. And waited. We watched as the tables nearby got served - even though they came after us. A query to the waitress and she responded - yours are next. Then we get 4 of our 6 orders. And waited for the other two. The. One of the orders was not cooked fully, so she then waited. Did I mention it took an HOUR from order to first delivery, and then longer for the two chicken sandwiches, then longer for the re-fire on the under cooked burger. The burger I had was good but in no way worth any type of wait. And the place wasn't even packed!! Good burgers and onion rings. EXTREMELY SLOW SERVICE. And really not attentive for a small town restaurant. I would pass on this place. It's good but not worth a trip out of the way, nor worth waiting.

I'm not a snob so I can do a nice place, a dive and anything in between which was how the weekend went. The bar was pretty busy for a Saturday night and I was going to do a fresh patty burger but pizza after pizza was going out the front door so I might rethink my burger. The place is your typical Wi small town bar and not a dive but old looking that is CASH ONLY with a full bar and restaurant. The menu is decent for a bar and they take the food seriously with fresh beef burgers and real pizzas. I had a couple beers and gin tonics which were ok and not top shelf. The place is pretty loud and it was hard having a conversation but it was the place to be. We ordered the 16'' Soprano pizza with sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, fresh mushrooms, onions, green peppers, green olives and black olives. First off they don't skimp on the toppings because they were plentiful and the pizza was really good with a nice saltyness from the green olives that worked so well. I doubt that they make the crust and I could be wrong but it very good because it was not thick or cracker thin but a nice in between that was like a fresh chewy crust from good fresh baked bread. It was weird to bump into the owner of the bar that we usually go to for drinks and pizza like we were cheating on him but it was all good but unexpected. Overall the pizza is good, the drinks are ok and the prices are very reasonable for a casual dinner and drinks and I see why they were packed and the lady's working the bar did an outstanding job keeping up with all the people.

We read that Pete's Hamburger is the oldest burger stand n Wisconsin, so we had to give it a try…read more When we arrived, there was already a long line with 15 people, and we waited about 35-40 minutes. It's just one gentleman boiling the burgers, and with some people ordering half a dozen at a time, things move slowly. There was no shade while waiting under the hot sun, it might be a good idea to wear a cap. The menu is as simple as it gets: burgers with or without onions, about $6 each and roughly slider-sized. Condiments are limited to mustard and ketchup, and they also sell canned drinks. There are a few small tables and chairs nearby if you want to eat right away. Overall, it was worth trying once for its history and classic Wisconsin charm.

We arrived around noon on a Saturday and waited in line for about 20 minutes. There's no shade while you wait, so plan accordingly especially in summer! Parking is free and fairly easy to find on the street. It was a bit confusing when we arrived, as there are two windows on opposite sides of the stand and no clear signage indicating where to order. Turns out, you can order from either window. The operation is run out of a small shed with four people working inside. One person was boiling the burger patties, another was taking orders at the window near candy company, a third was at the opposite window, and a fourth was handling payments. The menu is simple: burgers with or without onions, and three condiments--ketchup, mustard, and spicy mustard. Each burger is $6.50, and they do accept credit cards. As for the burger itself, it was okay. The meat didn't seem seasoned, but it wasn't dry thanks to the boiling method. The bun was basic, and the burger size was slightly larger than a slider. Personally, I think it's a bit pricey for what you get, but considering the stand has been around since 1909, they clearly have a loyal following. Overall, I'm glad we gave it a try--it's always fun to experience a bit of local food history.

Pete's Hamburgers - Great "boiled" burger! Surely worth trying!! Very unique. Patty tasted "clean" but surprisingly retained so much flavor.
