The absolute BEST apartments in Belltown! This place is a hidden gem. Unlike nearby condos, it doesn't really do major advertising - I actually found it while clicking on random buildings on Google Maps! The location is incredible - close to the Space Needle and bars, but just far enough to still enjoy quiet nights. Plus, the prices are VERY competitive compared to other places nearby. Oliver from the front office is incredibly friendly and helpful. I wasn't going to be able to view the available units in person, and he sent me a very well taken, detailed video of the interior. He answered all my questions and really made sure that my moves, both in and out, were extremely smooth. Maintenance was also prompt and always made sure that everything was fixed within 1-2 business days! Now for the apartment itself - it was much larger than any other options nearby, and it was really nice! The unit looked a bit old but clean and functional in the video, but I was wrong... it wasn't old at all! The apartment was MUCH newer, brighter, and more updated than I anticipated - the best kind of surprise. I rarely ever heard my neighbors, always had power, and I especially loved that I had a massive pantry in the kitchen. My balcony faced 4th Ave, which leads directly to the Space Needle. Although I couldn't see the Needle from my windows, I never had to leave my apartment for any parades - they always started at the Seattle Center and went directly on the street below. The amenities it had were really nice - from the clubhouse to the gym. Both were clean, easy to access, and very updated. I especially loved that you didn't need to pay to book the clubhouse for personal events, as it made hosting larger groups for meals a lot easier! I was truly heartbroken to leave Sidney when work relocated me to Texas. It's a wonderful complex, and I highly, HIGHLY recommend!! If I ever move back, you know where I'll be living. read more

This was one of the best apartment living experiences I've ever had, which, as you can see based on the majority of the reviews here, is generally the case for most. My apartment faced North and had a great view of the Space Needle. It was a quiet and quaint little studio that, upon move-in, was in great condition. I rarely ever had any maintenance issues, but if I did, they were addressed accordingly and in a timely manner. The Sidney is close to so many restaurants and shops and in fact, on the first floor, is Uptown Espresso. A cute little coffee shop that I would just walk down to every morning. Super convenient! The staff is what stands out about this building the most. The Property Manager is one of the best I've ever encountered. Always helpful and happy to assist. This type of management style has obviously transferred down from the manager, as the maintenance and leasing personnel are just as friendly and helpful. The Sidney Apartments is the best apartment complex that I've had the pleasure of calling home! The only reason I'm moving away is because we ended up buying a condo. From the first day, Brad had a smile on his face and even gave us recommendations on which unit would be cheaper and had more space. I was very pleased with his service and ended up signing the lease the same day. Brad ended up leaving a couple weeks later but Sara and Jeny provided the same service and hospitality that Brad had given us that first day. Everyone from the management, to the maintenance team knows your name and they're always willing to strike up a conversation. They also gave my dog countless treats whenever I passed the office. It feels like a family here. Jeny and Sara and extremely quick to respond to emails and most requests are completed within 48 hours after submission, and they always follow up on the services to make sure everything was okay. They even deliver packages into the apartment if requested! They also host two parties a year around the holidays at the end of the year and a summer BBQ with amazing food and drinks. Location wise, the Sidney is nestled inside the heart of Belltown with easy access to the Space Needle, Pike Place, Whole Foods, the downtown shopping center, and an array of restaurants and bars. If you're lucky enough to get an apartment facing 4th Ave, you'll be able to watch all of the parades from the comfort of your own home. The apartment unit itself is very well insulated compared to the Fountain Court next door, and you can't hear the neighbors unless they're really loud (ie: shouting, banging pots and pans, etc) because of the condo insulation style. The unit does get a bit warm in the summer but since it is well insulated you do save a lot of money on the heating bill in the winter! I've never had to turn on my heater in the winter. There are occasional noises from the fire department but comes with living in the downtown area. The building itself also offers a club room with FREE PRINTING, kitchen, and a large TV with comfortable seating areas! They also have a small exercise room, hot tub, and outside grill. The office downstairs has free coffee, tea and fresh baked cookies throughout the day. If you have guests coming over they have daily parking passes for $5/day (best parking deal in Seattle!) and even a guest suite that is furnished for $150/night (they give discounts the longer they stay). Sidney is my first living space in Seattle. I lived here for over 5 years, close to 6. The location is great, it's close to Downtown, Olympic Sculpture Park, and there's plenty of restaurants in Belltown. The Amenities were nice, I really enjoyed the small gym downstairs if I didn't feel like going to a full gym that day. There's also a Amazon Locker for pickup which was implemented several years after I moved in which makes deliveries more convenient. The maintenance staff is responsive, friendly, and hardworking. Shout out to Jorge for all the help he has provided for me. I only moved because I wanted to a change of scenery. Otherwise, this place rocks. read more

The Sidney is a great place to live and our favorite apartment building in Seattle (and we've been in quite a few). Jeny and Sara are awesome, they were both always helpful, considerate and patient with any request we had. Maintenance was taken care of promptly and efficiently by Aaron and the rest of the maintenance staff. The prices are very reasonable compared to other complexes in the area. Mostly I can say the staff at the Sidney treated us with respect, like neighbors, and not like a cold corporate machine like some other rental buildings in Seattle. The other reviews here detailed the amenities and the advantages of the Sidney, so I won't repeat them. I'll only say that they're all still accurate. This is a truly great building, we had a wonderful year here and we really felt like it was a home. The only reason we're leaving is because we're moving to the east coast. read more

(This is copy/paste from my old review on apartmentratings, fyi) I've been at the Sidney for about six months now, and overall its been a good experience. Pros: -The apartment itself is very nice, in good condition. Hallways are clean and kept nice -I haven't had any issues with maintenance or neighbors -The building is very secure, including the parking, which is definitely a good thing -The fitness center has everything I need, even if it's a little cramped. -Management is friendly and always willing to help -Location, Belltown is pretty much close to everything -Car wash area in the garage is a nice touch -Building is solid, I never hear anyone through the walls or ceiling Cons: -Its expensive, and I'm not really sure its worth what I pay...but all of Belltown is like that, so it isn't really a fault of the Sidney -Outside noise. The fire trucks are VERY VERY loud if you have windows/porch door open. Since the building tends to be warm, you'll want your windows open in the summer, so you'll have to suffer through that Overall, other than the fire trucks, a very positive experience. On the subject of the management - I don't understand the complaints about the new managers. Sure, I liked Lynette and Dawn, but I like Marcie and Anda as well. They've both been very friendly and helpful. They've implemented some good new stuff like the dog daycare and wireless in the clubroom. Plus - they got the garage door fixed. That thing closed on my hood more than once in the past, so that was great to have done. Sidney is the BEST. Hands down, it's been my favorite place to live. (Oct 2014-Nov 2016) Amazing location- less than a mile walk to downtown and tons of restaurants within walking distance. It's on 4th, so you have an excellent view of the parades, etc, but- you're not bothered by the bar crowd on 1st/2nd late at night. There are 2 bus stops within 2 blocks of the apartment (super convenient). Uptown Espresso downstairs a HUGE plus as well. Pretty green trees during the spring and summer- our cats loved staring out the bay window at birds and squirrels passing by. Awesome management- Sara and Jeny at the front office and Aaron in maintenance are so nice. Being greeted by one of them after a long day at work put a smile on my face. Oh- and warm, fresh cookies baked in the office daily :) Maintenance was always really quick to respond to requests, which I really appreciated. (Optional) Package delivery was great too, for the times you didn't get home until after the office hours but still wanted your stuff. I really trust the staff here. Comfy apartments- our apartment really felt like a home. I was particularly fond of the bay window and 'fireplace' in our unit. Roomy and much more reasonably priced than other places in the neighborhood. They installed granite counter tops and new sinks during our stay. I believe a lot of units were getting hardwood floors as well. The most important detail- it was QUIET inside. I never once had a noise complaint. You'll hear some street noise if you're facing 4th and keep your windows open (as it is a block or two away from a fire station), but get a fan going and you really do get used to it (seriously). I could go on- I love this place. If we move back to Seattle, we're definitely coming back here. read more

Living at Sidney was the best experience I've ever had with an apartment building. I lived there for 3 years, but would've stayed longer if I didn't have to relocate to another city. I can highly recommend this building to anyone looking for an apartment. The management team established a great culture, and it really adds to the experience. Sara and Brad are very personable and work hard to make their residents feel valued. No matter the challenge, they have a strong grip on managing the building, and care about improving your experience. I challenge you to find better. The location is great. I watched the New Years Eve fireworks from my apartment window, and stepped right outside to 4th Street to watch the Seafair Parade each year, and the Seahawks Super Bowl victory parade. You are blocks away from Seattle Center, within easy walking distance to downtown, the waterfront, and Belltown nightlife. The only problem I can foresee someone having is with the noise at night from the garbage trucks or fire station. This is well documented in other reviews. But really, you are prone to these noises living anywhere in any city. The building is actually well insulated compared to other buildings. Overall, it was a great experience living here. I was able to have fun and relax. The management team is reliable and the building felt like a community. You are tucked into a quieter section of Belltown, with a ton of amenities in reach. I have to say that they have exceeded all of our expectations as far as living is concerned. We relocated from our NJ life to Seattle remotely with the recommendation from one of our friends who pitched it for us. The leasing manager, Brad pretty much worked with us through the move from A to Z and was unbelievably courteous and understanding to all of our needs and made this part of the move the easiest part of all. Coming from the east coast where getting a apartment is more of a battle of flimsily irresponsible real estate agents and unethical landlords who only care about their money i feel that this has been a experience worthwhile. We feel at home finally now at Sidney and continue to experience a quality living experience thanks to the fine people here. I thought about my review and realized that it might not be fair to rate The Sidney one star fewer based on conditions that can't be necessarily controlled, such as the garbage truck and people in the court yard/function room. During the summer months, the staff has posted notices asking residents to be considerate of others in the building when using the function room. I lived at the Sidney from August 2013-2014 and I had such a great experience. Brad and Sara are some of the most genuine and accommodating people I have ever met. I was always well taken care of by them and Aaron (the onsite maintenance). My apartment was a courtyard facing one bedroom, with plenty of storage and good appliances and W/D. A perk of my apartment being a courtyard corner unit, surrounded by other units with very few windows meant I turned my heat on twice last winter and saved so much on bills! The downside was that it could be very dark as well.I never heard my neighbors through the wall and everyone in the building is always friendly. I always felt safe in this secure building and could walk to everything downtown! The noise was a bit of a negative for me. Facing the courtyard also meant facing the alley, and that meant the pesky garbage truck that beeps and grinds at the wee hours of the morning. I started sleeping with a fan on and my windows closed year round to drown out the sound and that generally worked well. This is in general something you will deal with anywhere downtown though, sirens and garbage trucks are just what you get with the location. I ended up moving because my rent was raised quite a bit and I didn't feel I was getting enough for the price. I found another apartment in Belltown with similar amenities for less, but I gave up the amazing duo: Brad and Sara. They really do create an environment unique of anything I have experienced elsewhere! When it comes down to it they are one of the best, with all the huge apartment complexes popping up and offering crazy move in deals it is hard to compete, but those complexes have thin walls, crappy maintenance, and no personality. Me and my wife have lived here from Oct 2013 (or so) after we moved to the US from Europe to Apr 2017 in two different apartments. During that time we never looked at other apartments because Sidney was a home away from home. We finally moved out because we relocated to the East Coast. Otherwise, if we were still in Seattle, we would still be in our cozy Sidney apartment. One of the greatest things about the Sidney is definitely its management, both Sara and Jeny. They are always helpful, always there when you need them for anything, from packages to solving bigger problems or just chatting when you leave for work, never rude, never off-putting. It was a pleasure living there because of that. They really make the place feel warm and complete. Apartments are really nice, spacious with good layout and nice high ceilings (which, for me, was a must). Convenience-wise, Sidney is in a really nice place with an excellent location. There are many breakfast options available (Artisan Cafe for sandwiches and La Parisien for damn good pastries). You are within walking distance of Downtown, the bars on 2nd Ave as well as SLU if you want a nice, relaxing stroll by the lake. In the end, if something unforeseen occurs, maintenance was excellent, Dave and Aron would fix any problem really, really fast. To conclude, if you want to live in Seattle proper and have a home (instead of just a place where you sleep), Sidney is the right place for you. We will miss them greatly! read more

I've been living in Sidney Apartments for about 7 months now and couldn't be happier. The location is extremely convenient, right in the center of Belltown but off of 3rd. Excellent food and bars are all walking distance, the building is very clean and well maintained, and the internet that they offer is the fastest in Seattle and very affordable. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly, and I like that the place is smaller than many other complexes in the area. However, on average, the rooms are also much larger than the new places being built in Seattle. I checked out many of the larger "towers" in Belltown prior to choosing Sidney, I really appreciated that it felt more like a home than a hotel. I'm having trouble thinking of downsides. The apartments are a block away from the fire station, which means you hear sirens fairly often. read more

One of the best places in Belltown in my opinion. I used to live in the Elliott Bay Plaza (now Berkshires on Elliott) but the management change when it was bought by Berkshire literally drove us away from that building. I had heard about CondoInternet (http://www.condointernet.net/), a super-fast internet service for condo/apartment buildings, from a friend who loved it so I looked on their website to see what buildings had that service (just as a starting point for our apartment search). That pointed us to the Sidney and was just ONE of MANY great things about living in this community. First, the internet. CondoInternet is SUPER fast and ENTIRELY free. Of course, by free, I mean it's probably built in to the rent, so consider that when comparing the monthly costs. My wife and I use the internet for most of our video watching needs and only have a $12/mth basic cable plan, meaning we save a bunch of money by not having to use Comcrap. Second, the staff. The leasing office staff are AWESOME. In our old place, they never recognized us and often misplaced packages. In the Sidney, we'll be walking back in to the building and if the leasing office staff have a free sec, they'll call out and let us know we have a package. It's great! My wife and I just got married and when we went on our honeymoon, the staff were very helpful and dropped all of our packages in the unit (after receiving our permission to enter). The maintenance staff are TOP NOTCH. We had our washer/dryer break down recently and while they took a few steps to see if they could fix it, they fairly quickly decided to just replace it for us to get us back up and running quickly. And while our unit was out of service, they gave us the keys to an empty unit nearby so we could do some urgent laundry. Third, the location. Right downstairs is Uptown Espresso, an excellent place for coffee, tea, and just chilling out. Across the street is a fantastic french bakery. And, you're right on 4th Avenue, which gives you a straight shot downtown. I've never felt unsafe in the area, though it is downtown so don't be surprised by homeless people in the general area. Fourth, the atmosphere? I don't know what term to use, but the units are great. They are clean and well laid-out. Our unit looks over the alley and a courtyard which does mean occasional garbage truck deliveries but welcome to a busy city (if you want quiet, go to the suburbs :P). Our unit is very easy to keep cool in the summer, but they also rent out A/C units if you need them. Fifth, the few bad things. I wish the parking was reserved spaces, sometimes I have trouble finding a good spot. If you go for a tandem spot, you get a specific stall, but not if you have a single spot. The price is great though and honestly, it's a super minor issue, I've always been able to find a reasonable parking space. I had a balcony at my old place and my unit here doesn't really have one (it has a "Juliet Balcony" which is a tiny one designed for leaning out and calling down to your Romeo I suppose), but that's a small price to pay for an otherwise excellent place. How do i start rating this apartment ...... It`s a Home! How i felt: Sidney is so perfect to have experience of "HOME" .... I felt so warmth,respected, friendly by Sara & Jeny. They took care of us like a family. Sidney is the most people's oriented apartment i ever seen & lived. Property Manager - Sara is the most kind hearten,helping nature. I have so many examples where Sara helped us beyond our expectations. Sara let us stay for few days after our leasing period was over before we moving to other city.Thank you Sidney for that. Jeny is so cool addressing residence issues with great patience and pls have small talks when you stop by.... she is v smart. Facilities : Sidney is very safe, clean, apartment layout is very good, spacious, club house is so good, other facilities in the apartment are excellent. they have small business center in the club house which is so useful. BEST internet facility, good maintenance and hot tub is the best after your long day of work. Team Sidney is the BEST in the property. We moved here in Sidney just about a month back and we are so happy to be here! The staff here especially Sara is amazing- she is on top of things and diligently takes care of everything. The location of this property is in the heart of Belltown in the middle of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and even pharmacies. Downtown is walking distance from here and it is conveniently located in-front of the bus stop. I love my apartment- its a cozy little place and the half bay windows give an amazing feel to it- literally feels like living in a tree house! The customer service here is phenomenal. Brad and Sara are so unbelievably understanding and easy to work with. We moved here from New Mexico without being able to see the apartment first. We chose it based on reviews, and we are so glad that we did. Sidney really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The apartment itself was beautiful and designed extremely functionally. Sidney is situated right in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere, even in the rain. There are great restaurants, bars, museums, salons, banks, shopping, parks, fitness clubs, concerts, all less than a mile away. The super bowl parade went right by us. New Years fireworks went off all around--at the water and at Seattle Center. They go all out twice a year for a resident party. I seriously can't believe people miss it. They decorate, serve a massive amount of food and drinks, and you get to know all the people you'd only see in passing otherwise! Our one year old daughter met a playmate there too! If we didn't want to have a larger family, we would never leave. I recommend it to anyone. read more

If you're looking to rent an apartment, I'd recommend looking away from Sidney! I've been living in Sidney for the past 1.5 months and it's been a nightmare at the very least. I did not have hot water (in November weather) for over 10 minutes since the beginning of the stay, the bedroom window had a nasty film of circles on it, the bathroom washbasin had a long crack and all of these are things I've been following up with the team to fix. No one conducted a pre-check to ensure some of the visible defects were fixed before I entered the house. These are all things I had to bring to their notice. While I'm still awaiting on what they do with the windows and the basin - repeated follow-ups and promises have been made by the team but nothing has been resolved to date; the hot water issue's lack resolution really takes the cake. They sent their "top" plumber to take a look and this plumber informed me that 'it is Seattle law that hot water comes for only 10 mins every hour' and he cannot give me more details but I should definitely "read up". This apart, Sara, the community manager, has failed to keep with promises of "speedily resolving" the situation thus far. To date, I'm waiting to hear on a date and time when their new "top" plumber will come and look into the situation. They once gave me 24 hours notice for a plumber to come by and I couldn't make arrangements at work to be home, so they cancelled but haven't provided a resolution thus far. I have definitely wanted to be home when strangers enter the unit and informed the team duly but the team doesn't acknowledge this need when giving undesirably short notices and follow it up with "you are not required to be home", which makes privacy a fishy issue. read more

I moved to Seattle from the Dominican Republic, so the change was HUGE . Living in Sidney Apartments was one of the best things that happened to me in Seattle. The administration team is just amazing! caring and very aware of all the possible needs of the tenants. All amenities like the gym and jacuzzy are well taken care of and they are always wiling to help and listen to any suggestions to improve or resolve situations. That, plus the perfect location in the heart of the city is definitely an advantage of the apartments. My husband lived there 4 years before I moved in, and overall we are both very pleased with the experience living there. Living at Sidney felt like coming home, not to just any old apartment building. I lived there twice and would have stayed longer if I could have. I can (and do) recommend this place with absolutely no reservations. Management could not be better, and they are a big part of what makes Sidney feel like home. Sara and Brad are amazing. They work so hard making sure that everything is great for all the residents. I don't think I ever had any issue that wasn't taken care of that very day. Beyond Sara and Brad, Aaron and Mo do a lot of work around the building and they are also wonderful people. Aaron even helped up hang our TV so we didn't mess up the wall or have the TV fall down later. Very rarely do you find a management team who cares as much as they do at Sidney. They say it's all about location, location, location. Well, Sidney has that. From my apartment window I could see the Space Needle in all its glory... including NYE fireworks. Nothing beats not having to go stand out in the cold (or drive in that traffic) for that. Most parades go right down 4th St, past the building; ending at the Seattle center a couple blocks away. There are the Belltown restaurants and bars a couple blocks away, but none of the noise from them floats up to Sidney. Downtown and Pike Place Market are a quick and easy walk and the stadiums are about a twenty minute walk, or you can grab the light rail. The only noise issues some people have had (usually people not used to being IN the city) are that street cleaning trucks and garbage trucks come through the alley at all hours. Eventually you get used to it, and trust me, it's not a deal breaker. The building is actually well insulated compared to other buildings and when you're in your unit, 99% of the time, you can't even hear people walking past your door. Sidney has fantastic management, a great location, and really, you can't find better. Simply put, I miss it and would move back immediately given the chance. read more

I have lived here at the Sidney for about five months and I have to say that this is the best apartment building I've ever lived in. The staff is wonderful, the maintenance guys are on top of everything, and the people who live here are pretty amazing. People always say hi to me, and my dog, in the hallways and in the elevator. I got into my apartment on a great deal because of the economy, but I would live here no matter what the price was. The Sidney is located in Belltown and is close to bars, shops, the Space Needle, and to downtown. I walk everywhere because everything I want is so close. It is a wonderful building with the most wonderful staff! Jeny, Brad and Sarah are all extremely friendly, helpful and a joy to interact with. Wah! Brad is so nice! Today I had a heavy package delivered and I asked Brad to have it to my door. I was expecting the delivery guy to come up but instead Brad hand carried it to my apartment and I was in total shock! I'm so grateful at the effort Brad and Sara does for the residence of Sidney Apartments so I'm writing this review now. I've been living here for about 6 months (1 bedroom) and the reason I chose Sidney Apartments was mainly because of management (Brad and Sara). PROS - Brad and Sara are the best! They genuinely care about us, excellent customer service and always professional. I've never seen them unrepresentative and they always smile! Also had many great conversations with them and cookies are always nearby ;-) - Big bonus is their parking price. $5 a day!! They are so flexible it's another reason why we like staying here. 2 hour free parking for services or visiting friends too! (working hours only) - The room layout is traditional and feels very homely. - Common area is always kept clean - They have a gym and hot tub. - Location is fantastic, near lots of restaurants, seattle centre, theatres, public transport. - Juliet balcony which is great because I can see parades on 4th ave, everyday I see the Space Needle (lovely view) - I find facing Vine St is good because not much traffic goes there so it's less noisy than other places, the sun comes from the side and never direct into our rooms which is ideal for me yet still can light up the room, Space needle view, $40 condo net (instead of $60)!!!! - Can not hear people through walls! - Have good size washing mashing and dryer! - Plenty of storage space at home :-) - Lots of power points - Price wise for apartments is one of the best for the value we get out of it (for a foreigner with no credit history it's hard to rent condos but this is the best place and I highly highly recommend it to everyone!) - Multiple exit and entry points CONS - Room gets quite warm easily - Noise isn't that bad. Yes lots of sirens but I didn't find it that bad and the garbage truck really depends where you're facing. But I haven't had a problem. - Sometimes people walk really loud above. - Gym is small and gets crowded during certain times (but it's so near Olympic park and seattle centre, so I like to jog around there from time to time. They have free weights!) Ok that's enough from me. You just need to meet Brad and Sara and you're sold. Nothing can go wrong with them two around! I recently moved out of the Sidney, and I loved my time there. If you want to live in Belltown, this is the place to live. I moved here on recommendation of a friend who lived here a couple of years ago, and she did not let me down! Paying it forward now: I highly recommend this place. I lived in a newly renovated one-bedroom/den apartment with wood floors and updated appliances. It was very cozy, especially entering into winter, and I am happy I chose to go with the wood floors. The apartment was well insulated -- I did not hear my neighbors or creaky ceilings -- and I felt the complex invested in quality fixtures, accessories, and appliances (-these points sound funny, but I've lived in places that were 'nice,' when, in reality, the apartment was equipped with cheap appliances/accessories and thin walls.) Many folks on here have posted about the management, and I want to echo everyone's thoughts. Sara and Brad are fantastic. They are invested in making the community better for the residents and providing a quality experience. I have never lived in a place with better, friendlier, more accommodating staff. Not much needs to be said about the location of this place. It is in the center of everything! The building also has a community gym that I frequented daily, and it was almost always empty, which I appreciated. Rite-Aid and Walgreens are both about two blocks away, which is very convenient. Definitely do not rent at this apartment. A new management company took over this building in August 2008 and they raised all of the prices of the units by quite a bit. The current office management is extremely rude, unhelpful, and VERY annoying. Dealing with them is extremely frustrating, rent elsewhere, my friends. read more

We recently moved out of the Sidney and I'll honestly miss the management and maintenance staff. They are so friendly, they know everyone by name. They're also super accommodating and maintenance will come out promptly to fix any issues you might have. They offer free daily cookies and coffee at the front desk. The cookies my 2 year old absolutely loved. It was a great experience for us. We moved out because we bought a house otherwise we would definitely have stayed for another lease. Brad, Sara, and Jeny are great! They always greeted our daughter and I could talk to them in the lobby and it felt more like talking to friends than anything. Aaron from maintenance is awesome too, always playing with our dogs when they saw him and giving them some of the free biscuit treats they have in the office. They'll even deliver packages to your apartment if you want them too. Never had an issue with retrieving mail or packages, even during the holidays. And they throw a holiday party in the club room at the end of the year and provide yummy snacks and beverages. The parking garage is secure, convenient location. We walked to everything - whole foods, QFC, Denny park, the public library, shopping - it's all super closeby. Had a great experience! read more

The best of this apartment is management. Manager is super awesome n try to accommodate you in every way. We get free Internet connection, my packages reaches my apartment behind me n free annual carpet cleaning. Apartments are nice but rooms are bit smaller though in 2 bedroom. But overall, great experience. read more

I lived at the Sidney for nearly a year, and it was the best experience I've ever had living in an apartment. My husband and I moved to Seattle from NYC last year, and we knew we would be renting an apartment sight unseen. We called around to a handful of buildings we had found online, and Brad was by far the most helpful in answering my questions and establishing trust. When we arrived in Seattle with our luggage in tow, the apartment and building were exactly as pictured and described on the website. Living there, we felt very well taken care of. Sara, Brad and the team at the Sidney really do run a well-managed building, and we didn't have a single negative experience the entire time. We would still be living there if we hadn't decided to buy a house. Highly recommended! read more
