We came in driving from California tired..expecting to have a nice clean room (Pics on website look…read morebetter than person) I was SO disappointed first of all room was cramped no place even for our bags. we were scheduled to stay 4 nights but I knew after checking in and seeing our room that I would not stay there.. lest see there were cob webs as I entered the room, a big moth flying around in the window behind the blinds. disgusting!! at the least the owner should have cleaned our room upon arrival. I asked the owner if she would give me half our money back and we would look elsewhere. but she said NO that it stated on the receipt no refunds. the next morning woke up to a bug crawling out of bathroom sink as I was brushing my teeth, that was it we were out. luckily we were invited to stay with family and we're able to enjoy our vacation. It's right on the highway. We booked for two nights (two people). I was called away on an emergency. Even chased down the maid before I left. I know the cancellation policy but it would have been classier if, given that the owner lives in a million dollar home, would have issued me a small refund. I live just up the road and that's not very neighborly. Maybe that's why most of the units were empty. Yelp reviews aren't' always reliable. I got burned.
