From the receptionist to the person that took the vitals to the Dr. everyone one of them were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I really like this walk in clinic and it is a great substitute for my family doctor out on a medical leave and another Dr was on vacation! I feel this place is a "hidden gem".

We could relax on the beach or cottage while our child could have the freedom to play games and explore in this family friendly environment. Cottages have many recent updates too. We were there with a group, and this was the perfect set up, since each family could enjoy the privacy of their own cottage, yet enjoy time together in the many common area, ie- the beach and the bonfires.

The new owners are working hard to make improvements and provide proper maintenance, while keeping the 50's era charm of the cottages. The beach is clean and well groomed, and the cottages are furnished well. A nearby restaurant, The Red Fork, serves great food, and the Cedar Lake store, though small, is well stocked.

And the biting flies are no joke; they're absolutely everywhere later in the summer. The cabins themselves are dated, but serviceable. The play facilities for our little ones are borderline unsafe (with some broken apparatuses), but the kids made do. Overall, our group of multiple young families had a decent time, though. The beach is nice here, with a sand bar that's reachable by the kids (aged 3-6), and kayaks available for excursions. The issues only arise when you have to leave the beachfront.
