Went in store and Ninni, the cashier, immediately questioned "is this maternity", and it was and immediately said "we don't take maternity returns". Well, the online receipt says to drop it off at the store? She just kept repeating they don't take maternity. She called the manager (not sure her name, but red haired) and the manager came storming up already pissed/heated. Kept repeating they don't take maternity. I kept trying to ask why the online receipt said to bring it in store and kept getting interrupted and "we don't take maternity". So I got a bit frustrated and once again asked why the online receipt tells me to drop off in store if they don't take the returns and the manager gets aggressive and raised her voice and said "if you do this again, we will not help you"...... ummmm what? I am not sure why I was met with such anger, aggression, and hostility when I was just following directions. If I was simply told like "hey sorry the website is messed up" or "sorry we can't take it, this is how to fix it", I would have had no issue with the interaction. But, raising your voice at me and not being willing to help fix the situation is not ok. To Ninni and the manager I spoke to today, I hope you are a little more kind and patient with the next person that comes into your store with a return.

Everything with the return and refund was quick and painless! I chose to look around this store after the return as I had some Kohl's cash burning a hole in my pocket and wanted to use it. Debbie was at the register when I checked out. I apologized to her actually because when I walked in she oh so cheerfully, with a huge smile on her face, greeted me into Kohl's. I was so focused on trying to find Customer Service that while I said hi back, I didn't really engage with her. When I went to check out my items to purchase I apologized if I came off rude. She was so gracious and stated she knew I was focused and nothing to apologize about. I pointed out how friendly she is and impressed I was with her efficiency with getting people checked out and on their way while also being engaging with the customers- a true art form! Hates having customers?…read more They often have ZERO check-out lanes open, only self-checkout. They often do not have bags available. The popular products are almost always out of stock, leaving only the crap no one wants. It's basically like shopping at a large Aldis. I hate Wally world but as of now I've given up on this Target and am now going there instead. Whoever is making decisions at this store is a detriment to the overall store health. They are clearly making decisions based on what reduces their overall workload rather than what increases revenue. Do better, Target.
