I created a problem after some home DIY, and I didn't have power to the kitchen and of course we had just stocked the refrigerator from a Costco run earlier in the day. This happened on a Saturday evening. So I turned to Yelp to find an electrician that was available for emergencies. I frantically called every electrician I could find that said they were available 24/7, I left multiple voicemails with everyone listed. The only company I got a response from was Sierra Electric where I could leave a voicemail or send a text. I sent a text to them and got a response within minutes. They responded so quickly and were at my doorstep within an hour of my distress text. Very professional and courteous it took the gentleman very little time to diagnose and repair my problem. Don't waste your time looking for any other company for your electrical needs, just call Sierra Electric. Prices were very reasonable considering it was a hot July summer on late Saturday night. This company has earned a new loyal customer. By the way I still haven't received a return call from any of the other companies. Our gas water heater was leaking badly and we had already purchased a new electric Hybrid heater which had been sitting on our patio for 3 months because my husband thought he could run the electric to it by himself. On Sunday, August 11th, I came home to a flooded bedroom closet and the water went into our bedroom, ruining the new flooring! My husband had surgery and was unable to do the electric, which was a good thing as his electrical skills are very limited! On Monday, I went into Yelp and called Danny with Sierra Electric and he came by that evening. Due to his father's funeral the next day, in Grover Beach, he said he could come on Wednesday. Danny Baker is the best. I hired him to change my bathtub to a shower, and he did such an excellent beautiful job that my friends wanted his number so they could hire him. Danny also put in fans and did my electrical. We were so pleased with the shower that we hired him, again, and again - he did an outstanding job. We hired Danny to put in cameras so we could check on anyone breaking into our homes inside and out, and Danny did such a great job that again, that friends wanted his phone number. I highly recommend Danny to anyone in need of electrical or a bathroom remodel. I was impressed with how fast he got all the jobs done. Was in need of finding a contractor in the Clovis area to rewire a house that had been neglected for years. I'm so pleased to have found Sierra Electric and especially appreciate Danny. It's hard to find honest and reliable companies when you have to search outside your usual stomping grounds. Very communicative and patient, which was important to me since I had to handle these numerous electrical issues remotely. Everything was done correctly, reasonably priced and very efficient in getting it done without giving me more to worry about with this house. Danny is a great electrician. He's the best. He has done many jobs for us in our house. He put in a dedicated line to our hot tub because it kept shutting off whenever we used the blow dryer or vacuum. He also did wiring to put in security lights in front of our garage for protection, and he also put a junction box in for the garage door opener and did wiring for it also so it wouldn't be from an extension cord that the previous owners had. He's done too many jobs for me to mention them all. He's very reliable, and he always cleans up after himself after each job so you're not left with a lot of debris, which is very helpful. He is also very reasonable on pricing. I have recommended him to many of my friends and family. read more

Cannot say enough good things about Sierra Electric! Danny is the most knowledgeable electrician I've come across, while maintaining better than fair pricing! We've used Sierra in our older home to troubleshoot a couple GFI issues we were having, unknown switches, breaker replacement, as well as installing new recessed lighting, replacing existing ceiling fans, and installing dedicated circuits for our electric vehicle. The guy who came out was great. He got the job done fast. I insisted I needed all new plugs and wiring because some just didn't work. It turned out it was something really simple and instead of charging me a arm and a leg he didn't even charge me the full price the girl had quoted me.
