I headed to the meat department too many choices. I decided on 2 habanero and 2 black pepper chicken kebabs to barbecue and a 6 pack of carnation drumsticks for dessert. I recently returned a 15-foot truck to this U-Haul location and had a very unpleasant experience…read more The truck was returned in good condition, with only a very small amount of dust on the floor from normal use. The employee attempted to charge me a $50 cleaning fee, claiming that "U-Haul reviewed pictures and decided to charge it." What made the situation frustrating was that I politely asked for a broom so I could clean the minor dust myself in literally one minute, but the employee refused. It honestly felt like the goal was simply to collect an extra $50 fee rather than resolve the issue reasonably. I understand charging customers for excessive dirt or damage, but this was nowhere near that level. The truck was otherwise clean and well maintained. Customers should be treated fairly and not pressured into unnecessary charges over something so minor. Very disappointing experience
