Dr. Oyola was calm, highly skilled, and extremely thorough throughout the process. She took the time to carefully evaluate the tooth and explained what she was seeing as she worked. It was clear that she was using advanced imaging and microscopic techniques to locate and treat all of the canals -- even a very small, curved one that could easily have been missed. The office itself is modern, spotless, and very well-run. The staff were professional, kind, and efficient from start to finish, especially given that this was an urgent add-on appointment. While no one looks forward to needing a root canal, I felt confident I was in expert hands the entire time. Biological systems are complex, and unpredictable, but you'll get an honest evaluation recommendation from him. One recent tooth, he told me, you've waited too long; this will likely need an implant. On a previous event, he'd placed a temporary crown, after his work, counseling me to go and get the permanent crown. I didn't; and six months later bit down on a nut and cracked crown and tooth. That's entirely my fault; temporary crowns are... temporary. But he was honest and forthcoming through the whole event. One of my early visits to him, now several years ago, pain was so bad in the middle of the night (and why is it always on a weekend), he saw me in his office on a normally closed Sunday. I trust this doctor with my health like I trust few others.

Dr. Duerson came in and explained that I needed a procedure. He explained my options. I made an appointment. My appointment went well. Dr. Duerson explained everything he was doing and asked multiple times if I was doing well. He gave me detailed oral directions and an information sheet. Tiffany assisted and also checked on me during the procedure and answered questions. She also quickly removed my stitches a week later. It was also thoughtful to have a call later the day of the procedure to see how I was doing. I had no swelling, bleeding, or pain from the procedure. God forbid I ever need dental help again, but if I do, I will certainly come again and would recommend this facility.
