About 4 months ago things started to change. He was no longer reliable, truthful, or dependable. I discovered that he was lying about cutting different properties and was always filled with hundreds of excuses. Meanwhile, he then tells me he got a big mowing job at the VA. Well, I am happy for him, but you don't just kick your good customers that pay within an hour of the property being completed to the curb. His communication skills are totally absent, and you constantly have to run after him. When he starts making excuses, you need to cut him loose. There are many lawn care people out there that are dying for the jobs and the work. Find one of them and give them your business. Dwayne doesn't care. This is a photo of yesterday 6/18/26 in Monticello, a historical district in San Antonio. This is the current condition of how he has just walked away with no communication and the condition he has left my property in. The backyard looks the same. I did a service request through Yelp and Chandler was very courteous and communicative throughout the whole experience. He offered the best price for the service but could only complete the service on the weekend which worked fine for us. He did an amazing job and even trimmed some extra areas for a minimal cost increase. The space under the tree was left clean of all the debris and his price included the hauling off of all the branches which we greatly appreciated. He currently accepts payment through Cash, Zelle, Cashapp, or Venmo for the services. Overall, I was very impressed with Chandler's professionalism, fair pricing, and quality of work. A small crew came in and raked up at the leaves, bundled them up and hauled them away, and then mowed and cleaned up the plantings. They quoted the job up front and there were no surprises. All good. Next I hired them to replace a fence that was falling into my mother's yard. Turned out there was a long standing dispute with the prior owner and the neighbor - this had to be done right. Rick's crew, led by Luis, came in, removed the old fence, laid out the new posts, and quickly finished the fence shown in the last two photos below. What I really appreciated was Luis' experience which fixed some things I specified and made them better. Since this job I've hired them for one more fence and two more garden projects. Was looking at landscaping our front lawn, had a few ideas but didn't know exactly where we were…read moregoing to end up with our project. Reached out to a few companies and Al's quote turned out to be the lowest of the three I received. He was very thorough in detailing his suggestions for us and we eventually decided to zero-scape the front lawn. He gave us options to choose from, explained what has worked best for him in the past. He took out our existing bushes by our front windows, ensuring he got most, if not all of the roots so they wouldn't be an issue moving forward, planted 4-5 yucca plants, put granite rock down to cover the yard and our curb with a barrier around the whole area. We also went with a two-foot-wide extension from the side of our driveway that has 2" pavers and crushed granite so I could better get out of my vehicle since I have mobility issues. We also had him trim our huge Ash tree in the front since it needed it badly. Al was very professional, kept us in the loop on all decisions and got the job done quickly. His attention detail is OUTSTANDING! I would 100% recommend him for any of your landscaping projects, big or small. Our front yard looks great and now we don't have to mow it ever again!! :-)
