This small business is innovating and redeveloping the Tampa Bay Area. I toured "The Views" property in North Hyde Park and the units were well built and modern. They answers all of my questions about the construction of this property and the quality of the build. So much new construction in Tampa Bay is one note and does not consider design when building a new community. However, Sight is focused on the impact of a project. They don't build bland or boring developments. I will continue to track their new projects and I hope to buy a home from them soon. read more

Allows unsafe living conditions and legal threats Rented a home in Tampa with Sight for almost 4 years. I say almost because we had to terminate our lease early due to unsafe conditions that took them forever to address. After trying to make a deal about breaking the lease "early" I was threatened by one of the men with legal action. With two under two, enough was enough. Under Florida state statuary of renters rights we terminated our lease as we had been structurally evicted. (This is just the main point in this nightmare rental) They threatened us with an eviction, in which we answered to with all necessary paperwork. They even sent massive bills to my place of work as well as tried to use a collection agency. These men are cowards. I really had hoped they would follow through with their legal threats. The amount of shear evidence as well as tampering with original documentation I have is jaw dropping. read more

Pease read reviews before renting in Florida!!! ZERO stars for #sightrealestate A standard practice that I have personally experienced in Florida is that shady landlords will send you a certified letter after you vacate a property you rented and cleaned. The certified letter will dispute returning your full deposit claiming damages were not normal wear and tear and even claim bogus charges for repairs. The Florida Consumer Affairs investigates these shady landlords but can't do anything about it if the Landlord sends a certified letter within the time frame of the statute. Your only option is to post on social media (see reviews on Google as well) and sue the landlord in small claims court. Shady Florida landlords make this a standard practice because most tenants don't sue to get back their security deposits, which are rightfully theirs. Unfortunately for Sight Real Estate, I hired an attorney, have pictures documenting every room I cleaned, receipts and a detailed file on this property. read more

Everything about my experience was TERRIBLE. I wish I had read the other reviews before considering renting here. These guys charged me $750 to repaint the entire interior of my house when the only paint needed was NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR caused by Command strips taking small bits of paint from the wall in a handful of interior locations. I got a bid from a reputable painter for the same project for $250 and sent this with my formal letter contesting charges and they still REFUSE to refund any of my $1,000 security deposit. The best part is, I'm a property manager for one of the largest companies in the industry and I have NEVER charged even the worst of tenants charges this excessive. They are taking advantage of the fact that they have my deposit on hand. My two year old son and I were without working toilets for almost 2 weeks and their excuse? They didn't have a key to the house, which they told me AFTER a week of not showing up to complete the repair. Funny thing is their "handyman" had a key the day before. They even refused to change the locks when they lost the key. I'm completely disheartened and honestly quite disgusted by my experience with Sight Real Estate. I would strongly recommend anyone considering renting or buying from this group STAY AWAY! read more

After seeing some of the negative reviews, I felt inclined to share my positive experience to lend a different view point of an exceptional property management company. I rented from Sight Real Estate for 3 years and just recently moved out. As Kris said the day he moved my wife and I into our home, "make the house your home and return the property how it was rented to you", and we would have no issues with getting our deposit back. We did what he asked and our deposit was returned, aside from the carpet cleaning that was due to a wine spill in the living room. (our fault) If I hadn't gotten transferred for work, we would've gladly renewed our lease for a 4th year. The few times we needed a service call, they were quick to respond and bent over backwards for us in an instance where our rent check became lost in the mail. I would highly recommend anyone looking to rent in Tampa to rent from Sight Real Estate. Very professional. read more

We started our lease March 1st, 2018 (THIS MONTH). We moved all of our belongings in, Kris was great while showing us the place. He took us through the front so that we couldn't see all the garbage bins in the back pressed up to our window *not even 50 ft. away*. Genuinely we were attracted to the rental because of the location, and had high hopes for a good rental/home. Later we noticed the unit INFESTED WITH FLEAS. We contacted the property right away! I am highly allergic to fleas, ticks, fire ants, and bees. I asked that MGMT reach out to me directly. My legs swelled up, extremely painful. I now have scaring. I had missed work attending a doctor appointment for prescribed medication. I sent pictures, & videos of the fleas in the kitchen where they claim the previous tenant did NOT have an animal. Although, pest control stated there was a Chihuahua at the unit with last tenant. WE DO NOT HAVE PETS. The property did not work with me at all. They were not the least bit compassionate. They did not even take the time to respond to my calls, emails, letters. Ghost. They kept ignoring but would sending Maintenance to check on us. Today is the first I heard from RJ and Mike Rivera ***2 WEEKS LATER***they threatened that we are stuck in the lease for the ENTIRE YEAR. They even went as far to tell us we will owe an additional $1800 on top of what we paid if we write a written 30 day notice to vacate/terminate our lease based on the fact it is not a healthy living environment. I feel extremely uncomfortable. Sight Real Estate is unprofessional, liars, cheats, & crooks. DO NOT RENT HERE. They will not even take $200 off the $1800.00 we put down for security/1st month. They WILL NOT COMPENSATE US AT ALL. Poor Kris is the only one to communicate in a kind & professional demeanor in attempts to resolve the issue (Title: Sales Associate). SAD.. read more
