I am a retiree and had a recent visit to Sight MD at 8.00 A.M. I'm called in by the technician by the name of Sue. We sat down and she did the quick test. For some this woman was nothing but NASTY to me from the word go. I'm sitting there stunned by what I am hearing !!! She gets up and bolts off to the exam room. She turns around and screams at the top of her lungs ' GET OVER HEAR NOW !! This explosion was overheard by the staff and other customers. ( I should have left ) . In the exam room she starts again with the Nasty and condescending comments. ( Again I should have left but the condition of my sight could be critical at this point. ) Never have I ever seen such psychotic and insane behavior in my life !! This woman should be fired!!! I have consulted with an Attorney and am currently proceeding with litigation. read more

My review is focused on one doctor, Dr Eric Rosenberg. For over seven years I have been in search of a Cornea Specialist that has been noted by his peers as one of the unsurpassed in his field. Most of the doctors I found through my sources were not local. Either overseas or a distance away from NY. I believe in messages that one sometimes misses; the message came through a source that did not specifically pronounce Dr Rosenberg; s knowledge and experience. After one visit, I was overly convinced that I had found the right doctor. Dr. Eric Rosenberg has produced in a brief time twenty-five plus journals and article publications, five book chapters, and a full textbook used by many residents and fellows throughout the world titled "Operative Dictations in Ophthalmology," He is always actively researching projects in the field of cornea, refractive, and external diseases. Why we chose this Doctor? He is enthusiastic about his career and his patients. I extremely recommend Dr. Eric Rosenberg and suggest those in need of an eye specialist who loves his field passionately, and cares for his patience deeply, connect with him before it is difficult to get an appointment. STAY AWAY! I was looking forward to cataract surgery, having heard first-hand from friends how it changed their lives. My first interaction was with Dr. Richard Natter who was nice as could be, and I agreed to the more expensive, non-insurance-reimbursable surgery which I was told would be quicker, safer and have a better outcome. It was downhill from there. The surgery (both eyes) went fine, but the results were horrible. My long-distance vision barely improved, my short-distance vision deteriorated so much that I now need strong glasses to read/use my laptop otherwise I can't read at all. I also occasionally see dots and flashes of light which can be irritating. As to the office itself - it's like a mill. After your initial audience with Dr. Natter, you see a bunch of clerks and assistants and are shuttled from intake to machine to intake to machine. You never see Dr. Natter again. His associate, whose name I can't recall, never cleaned his machine before doing an eye test so I started bringing my own alcohol wipes. The eye chart was a wavy screen posted on a wobbly mount. When I complained about my lack of short-distance vision, he asked me if I wanted a prescription for glasses. I responded by just staring at him. I had no words. read more

Stay away from SightMD Babylon! If you contact them to make an appointment, it will be at least four to six months out. Then there's a good chance they'll screw up the date and time because no one in the office seems to know what anyone else is doing. When you get there you wait forever. I was there today and there were about 25 people waiting to see three doctors, which means they multiple book all the appointment slots. My wife overheard office staff saying that one doctor was scheduled to see 36 patients that day. How much care can they really be providing in that case? On top of all this garbage, they charged my wife $50 to get her eyeglass prescription, which is a VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW! Even though they broke the law, they refused to give our money back. I keep telling my wife she should go somewhere else, but she's been seeing her opthalmologist there since before he joined this heartless corporation. read more

I was in the medical building to see a physician for my eye that felt like was scratched. He couldn't really help me, stating that an optometrist would better serve me. As I left the physician and walked down the hall to leave, I noticed there was a Sight MD there. I had been to another location before in the past, so I popped in, told them I am a patient from another location, was having an eye problem but didn't have an an appointment. When I say they were the friendliest office that I have experienced, would be an understatement. The young lady at the front desk was SO pleasant and nice, it makes me want to use this location always. She took some info, waited maybe 8 minutes, and there I was in the exam room. Prompt and efficient service without an appointment, and all with such pleasant service. This location is a winner ( My irritated eye ended up being the result of a tiny piece of fuzz that was wedged in the eyelash. They plucked it right out!) read more

I'm writing this for my mom, Denise Schneider, who was in, yesterday and saw Dr. Leon Rafailov. He's an excellent ophthalmologist. I want to compliment the tech, Sean, who works with Dr. Rafailov; he's an excellent tech, who takes so much care and time doing his job. He does the eye tests with so much patience; he's got the perfect personality and intelligence to one day be an excellent ophthalmologist. I also want to compliment Johnnie, she is Dr. Rafailov's assistant. She is also excellent at her job. I also would like to thank Lisa D'Andria, who is the branch manager. She does a fantastic job and they're very lucky to have her. She's the best. read more

I had eye surgery by Dr. Richard Nattis. He made me feel comfortable and most of all his surgical coordinator Irene was so easy to talk to and extremely kind. She helped by answering all my questions with patience that I much needed. read more

I had an appointment with my siblings and when I saw there were a lot of patients I thought i was going to be there for at least 2 hours. But no, we got quickly checked in and got called in within minutes! The nurses were so nice and helpful. Dr. Nudelman was so nice to my siblings too. This is the first time I come to a doctor's office and have a great experience. Really recommend! read more

Couldn't make an appointment for the Babylon office - need a first appointment and the phone representative said there isn't anything for June or July after 4:00. She said the doctors don't want to stay past 5:00 for new patients. Can't believe this practice would limit their schedules after 4:00 for new patients. Taking my business elsewhere. read more

I was recommended by a lifelong friend to Lindenhurst Eye Physicians & Surgens,P.C. which is now Sight MD. My laser eye surgery was done by Alanna Nattis.Shortly after I started noticing problems with my eyes. I called and made an appointment once with another Dr.. When I spoke to Dr Alanna Nattis in person about the problems I was having, she conferred with her farther who is also a Dr. She had said the best way is to do a procedure I agreed. (In house Laser)This procedure was done twice. I called them back after a short period and told the Dr or staff that it was difficult for me to see. I was told by Dr Alanna staff that she was no longer able to help me, but I could see her farther at another location. I didn't think anything about it and made my appointment at their satelite location After the farther met with me he gave me no answer as to why and what had happened. With his folded hands in his arms he said it can be fixed. The doctor put in my medical records that I had macular degeneration which is false. read more

Do not go here the doctor i saw nudleman was not friendly at all he didn't go over the concerns and complaints that i told the technician about my eyes he didn't seem to care and said i didnt really need an script i had a choice of taking it or not for my glasses when i am a glasses wearer and suffer from double vision i felt like it was a waste of money and I'm praying that the script helps me never will go to sight md in Babylon again it just didn't seem like a friendly place however the technician i had was very nice so that was the only good thing about my visit read more

Let me start by saying this office is lucky I walked out of there in silence with grace. Near the end of April I called to make a lasik consultation appt and was given a may 27th appt. I was told during the call that I need a driver, my eyes may be dilated. Totally fine. I have plenty of time to prepare. No other information was given to me in terms of how to prepare for the consult. In this time, I did consults at other lasik centers to ensure which practice/doctor I would like to use. Upon arriving, I had a 30 minute wait which is no big deal (I work in healthcare I know the deal with wait times). I then get taken by the tech to do a quick test and she asks if I wear contacts and when the last time was, to which I said yesterday. I then proceeded to have a vision test. I then noticed something and said wait will my eyes be dilated and I am told yes. I'm shocked because the day before I called to confirm if I will definitely be having my eyes dilated because another practice does this only after you commit to surgery so I thought maybe this practice would be the same. The rep on the call speaks to a surgical coordinator and confirms with me that no my eyes will only be dilated during preop. I repeat this call conversation to the tech during my consult and she says this IS your preop. I just don't understand why there was miscommunication here. THEN I am told I may need to reschedule anyway because I wore contacts the day before when I shouldn't have for a week prior to consult. EXCUSE ME? why was I not told this at the time of making my appt. The tech speaks to the DR and returns to tell me I need to reschedule. So not only was I told I will not have my eyes dilated (which was False information) but I was not told anything about not wearing contacts AND I wasted time off from work to attend this appt not to mention gas to travel out of my way to Babylon. I am so appalled and disappointed that I experienced this at a SightMD office. Communication with patients needs a huge improvement. I feel so disrespected that my time was wasted. Clearly, I am not rescheduling. I have no interest in doing surgery (that I will be paying cash for) with a practice that drops the ball like this. read more
