In a different country too! Unless you know Tuscany yourself, sit back and enjoy the rides. Okay so the bus ride wasn't the most comfortable, as Americans need HUGE seats with power ports, etc. and cart service with snacks. Fun fact: they're driving manual transmission buses. OOOOORRRRR you can try to blend and deal with the hour or two long bus ride without plugging in your devices. It's not that bad.

Prior to the ride, I tried to WhatsApp them but they never responded. (Every other tour guide in Italy would contact me beforehand to confirm but they wouldn't even accept my WhatsApp invitation). Even so, my family went to the designated spot prior to the start time (where my son took a picture) and no one arrived. Around 7:02 (we were supposed to launch at 7:00), I called the company to inform them that no one was there. The Company confirmed with me that I was in the right spot and tried calling the guide. The guide did not answer. The Company continued calling for 15-20 minutes and still got no answer. I told them I was going to leave and needed a refund. They said they wanted to "figure out what happened". I wasn't sure what they needed to figure out- they simply stood us up - but I waited for them to get back to me. Then several days later, they did inexplicably tell me that there was a "misunderstanding" and would not refund our money. Yeah, a misunderstanding about the truth. These people are terrible, there are so many other tour guides in Italy- do not book with them.

They provide tours of the centuries old vinegar plant, it is excellent, a winery, the factory museum in Maranello and salami plant. The staff is helpful and enthusiastic and the buses are very comfy. Bottled water was provided and he even stopped to get Fresh pizza for us. By the time we finished touring with Roberto for two days we felt that we knew so much about the area, history and culture of the region. Roberto's knowledge or art, history, food and culture was so impressive. The tour we did with Roberto was much more than him driving us from place to place. Each place we went was so carefully planned and curated. We visited wineries, vineyards and a sheep farm that makes cheese. With his help, we were able to visit every place we wanted to see as well as some smaller unknown, hidden gems. We saw so many beautiful landscapes and Roberto stopped frequently for us to take in the views! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Roberto. We hope to go back soon to tour Umbria and Florence with Roberto.
