My family has been patient of Dr. Gary Fisher for decades. During those decades. we have had countless appointments for routine as well as emergency care. ABSOLUTELY horrible customer service manger is rude. They double booked themselves so I couldn't even have my appointment they are all about the money and don't give two craps about their patients. Please go elsewhere save your money for people who aren't rude and stuck up ! read more

Long story short this office from my experience does not value time or their customers. Most nurses I have interacted with have been rude, both to customers and each other. Simply put, don't waist your time. Below, is my long story of how I came to this decision. These experiences all happened between end of 2015 and early 2016. I recently moved to the area and was ecstatic that an eye doctor would be so close. I called my first appointment and set it up for my lunch break one day, while on the phone with them I made sure to let them know I had about 45 minutes for my appointment. So if we don't have time for everything I would need to either reschedule or come back. When asked why, I explained that on the day we were looking at I had a meeting with a client right after my lunch so I needed to be back to be ready for the client. And I asked again if she should look at another date, which I was fine with, but the nurse assured me that my appointment should be about half an hour at most. A simple check up and confirm we have all your information she said. Great, I thought and went to my appointment a week later. Well I show up and go up to the check in girl and tell who I am and my appointment. She gives me a puzzled look and bluntly says "there's no more appointments for today." I pulled my phone out with the confirmation email thinking I had the wrong day, and sure enough it was correct. I showed her the email from the office and she continued to give me this "puzzled" look and say things like, "well you're not on here so I don't know what to tell you." Then another nurse, an older one, walked by and showed the girl that she was looking at the wrong day. Innocent enough. Irritating but innocent. Dealing with this took a good 10 minutes believe it or not. (Ok so 35 minutes left before I have to leave.) I'm the only person in the office besides staff and wait almost 10 minutes for my room. (25 minutes before I have to leave.) Once in, I grab my phone to text my boss letting him know that the eye appointment is taking long and I would be late for our client's appointment. (He obviously wasn't happy.) I proceeded to wait... And wait... And wait.... And wait. A good half hour went by in this dark room, by myself, and no one checking on me. (At this point I had been in the room a good half hour, had already missed my client meeting, and still had yet to see anyone!) as you can imagine I'm getting frustrated. I'm beginning to wonder if the doctor is even in the office? Did something go wrong? Is he out to lunch? Why has no one bothered to check on me? The doctor finally walks in, greets but does not apologize for making me wait so long. (I thought that was interesting, especially since he noted we needed to speed through the appointment per my request.) He may not have apologized but made sure to make a, well unprofessional, comment about my tight schedule, which I obviously didn't appreciate. Especially since I was willing to change dates but again was assured by a nurse they could accompany my needs. He then took a phone call from his wife for another 15 minutes. I've been at the office for over an hour and have yet to start anything. The actual exam went fairly quickly once the doctor decided to start. By the end I was ready to run away from the office. I stupidly came back a second time, thinking it was an off week and how silly it was of me to try and schedule an appointment during lunch. I went in for my eye glass fitting. This time I dealt with a different doctor, and she was fairly spacey. She asked my preferred eye glass style, I said "I prefer thick frames and square shape." Fairly straight forward and simple. She looked at me like I had 3 heads and goes "we don't carry that." I turned to my left and pointed, "aren't those thick frames? And they're the shape I like." She goes, "oh ya! I guess so!" So this continued for another hour and a half. I feel I don't need to explain how frustrating that was. Finally I called just a week ago to order more contacts. I spoke with a front desk person who could not find my account. It was insanely frustrating. Why? Because she was typing my name wrong. I do have a long last time, that's why when I have it to her I spelt it with military terms. I.e. "a as in alpha, etc. So she says that I had used my insurance already, then she takes it back saying they don't take my insurance at all, (which obviously they did when I had my appointment and ordered glasses.) I mentioned that I used my coverage for glasses in 2015, but as it's a new calendar year I thought I could use it again for contacts, if not I had no problem paying I just needed to know how much. She continued to be confused, and unprofessional. Making up answers, and correcting herself. She proceeded to call me back with voicemails that didn't make any sense as I could not hear her.
