If you forgot something on a larger grocery order, chances are good that this general store will have what you need. The breakfast options were good. I had breakfast pizza. A friend of mine had biscuits and gravy; while another friend got a breakfast sandwich. I sat on the patio and ate my breakfast since it was a really nice morning with perfect weather. One of the employees I encountered was incredibly kind, helpful, and positive--it made my visit genuinely enjoyable. On the day she was working in the kitchen, my food was perfectly fine with no issues. However, on two separate occasions when a different cook was working, I found what appeared to be thin animal hairs in my pizza. Both times, I returned the food and received a refund, but the cook denied it was hair and claimed it came from the pan or was cheese. That explanation doesn't make sense--if something from the pan looks like hair, that's still a serious cleanliness concern. She was also rude and even suggested I stop ordering pizza altogether, which is not an appropriate response. Additionally, the cashier I dealt with on those visits had a noticeable attitude, was unhelpful and looked at me like i was the problem. It's disappointing because I know this location is capable of good service and quality food based on my experience with other staff. But consistency and cleanliness need serious improvement. I hope management addresses these issues.
