This was the first store I went into when I began my dress selection process. I made an appt, and Krista was so amazing and beyond helpful !!! After picking a few of my own dresses out she totally understood the vibe and was grabbing accessories and giving my mom and I the scoop on the bustles, designer, styling, etc. I did not end up getting my dress here but wanted to give her a huge shout out for being so kind and accommodating. They have a huge selection of dresses of all price ranges and styles. We returned the store a couple days later with some of my bridesmaids and I can't recall the employee we were put with, but it was a HORRENDOUS experience. It seemed like it was this woman's first day on the job, she couldn't figure out how to clip me into the dresses, was rude/rushing us, wouldn't let me try on veils with the dresses I selected, the list goes on. When I think about the experience of trying on wedding dresses, Signature bridal really delivers! The rooms are pretty big and sectioned off so that they feel private, the workers are so friendly, the dress selection is large and beautiful, and the bride gets to see herself in the big mirror before turning around and opening the curtains and allowing her guests to take their look. The only real downside for me is that it's probably best if you go in already knowing what kind of style you like. If you're looking at several shops, maybe save this one for later on in the list. The whole procedure of picking the dresses, having the bride try it on and see it for herself and then letting the guests see it, takes a while for each dress. So while the whole spectacle of it is fun, you don't get to explore as many options. read more

You don't realize how stressful (and expensive!) wedding planning is until you're in the thick of it. Signature Bridal Salon helped take some of that stress off my shoulders. Their store is absolutely gorgeous and their fitting room was luxurious. My stylist, Olga, is a god-send! I'm so glad I was paired with her because I really needed someone to listen to me and help me find THE dress. Her expertise is apparent. She understands how a garment will and will not look on you and how it will look on camera. She also understands how a dress will look tailored to your body shape. I love her sharp sense of humor too! She is like a stylist/seamstress/mom/wedding planner all wrapped in one woman. I finally landed on a dress that Olga picked! It was such a surprise because it was nothing I had initally envisioned but seeing myself in it made my heart skip. Olga even included a veil and accessories and we were still under budget! I honestly just did not have a good experience here. My stylist and I were not a good match. From the beginning I did not feel welcome, felt rushed and felt like I was an idiot for waiting this long despite me explaining my situation and wanting to wait for my mom to literally fly in from out of state. I was basically being scolded for waiting too long to shop, was told I'd have an extremely limited amount of dresses that would be available, and none of the dresses I put in my wish list were pulled. I asked three times about a certain dress and designer and told I needed to basically let it go because they take too long. I was not offered other quick ship program dresses or that designer or any even allowed to try on anything I sent originally in my email. She interrupted my mom who was trying to ask me how I rated each dress and kept telling me it's a feeling and to ignore her despite me explaining that's really how my brain works and what I needed. I tried on a total of 4 and while the last one was the least awful, and I liked it, I was made to feel like I should love it and that I should make a decision then and then there because that's the best I could do. When I asked for the information for the dress she suggested I call back after my next appointment to let her know so I could start the order process- I had to ask again just to get information. I was asked " do you actually want to try on more dresses or do you just not want a cancellation fee" in regards to me having another appointment. I felt like I was on a car sales lot. I have since found my dress, in the designer I wanted, that will in fact get here in plenty of time. read more

Wow, after hitting 5 bridal stores, this last one was the cream of the crop. Huge store, lots of selection, reasonable prices for most of them, plenty of space, private room with your own couch area, large accessory area with veils, etc. Clean and spotless floor. We got there at 4pm on Saturday, exhausted and low energy from our other stores where we had some maybe dresses. We were matched with Olga. OLGA IS THE BEST. Her high level of energy, her dry sarcasm coupled with her straightforward attitude, her humor, her efficiency. Don't expect dawdling with her - she knows her job and really finds passion in it, and does it amazingly well. I honestly thought at the beginning that she must have gone to acting school. She said "we need to forget dress shopping, we are going by FEELING now and that's what you focus on. It's a yes or a goodbye, no in between". That's a really great way to focus in on what you want and not accidentally say yes to any maybe dresses. There is no high pressure sales or nonsense with Olga - she is here to help you find the dress of your dreams and if it's not here, then that's fine too. She worked hard and quick. She got all of us involved even (especially) my dad, and sent us out on two "runs" to select dresses for me to try on. She didn't limit the number like other bridal shops do - she gave us a time limit and 2 tags each, with more if we finished early. We had 10-12 dresses at a time to try on. After the first 5, we identified my style and type. We were able to get rid of the next 5 that didn't match. She taught us with every dress what to look for based on my preferences and my body type; we learned and did better the second round. Then we went on our second run. For the two that I liked the most, she had me do a runway fashion show, see it in the natural light, photos from my "paparazzi", clipped the front tight so i could see the back, had me walk "down the aisle" with my dad, looked in the mirror, fluffed the train. And then for the one that I ended up saying yes to, she put my hair to the side I wanted it, gave me a clip and veil to try on, really had me feel what it would be like to wear the dress on my day. And then we were all shocked by the low price of the dress - under $1700 for a really intricate design with lace, sparkles and a long train. Let me tell you after our experience with Olga, it made me feel so confident in saying yes to the dress! Even when we ended up taking an extra half hour after closing hours with the dress, she did NOT rush us, which was the experience we had at several of the other stores. She wanted to make sure it was the right fit. After trying on only moscato/champagne colored dresses due to my light skin tone, the one I ended up liking the most was ivory! Wow, I'd never have guessed. Don't hesitate to book with Signature Bridal and ask for Olga if you can. It will be an experience you won't forget!!! read more

I told her the style I was looking for over the phone and she had dresses picked out for me when I got there and WE FOUND THE DRESS on like the 5-6th try on. I knew Signature Bridal Salon was going to be one of the bridal salons I was going to shop at for my wedding next year because of all the 5 star reviews. My friend recently went and found her dress there so she highly recommended I work with Amber to find my dress. When browsing online for dresses, there was this particular dress from Essense of Australia I wanted to try on. I emailed them to inquire about the dress and I received a prompt response from Amber, the same consultant my friend worked with to get her dress. Since my family and bridal party live in California, I decided to go dress shopping alone and Amber made it literally the best experience. We got to try on SO may dresses because I didn't have to spend time walking out to show people. I was able to be honest and she took pictures for me since I didn't have an entourage with me. Honestly, I would highly recommend dress shopping alone FIRST so you can form your own opinion. I liked that she chose a variety of dresses for me to try on so I could be sure about the dress I wanted to buy. She was patient, funny, and super easy to converse with. For my second visit back, I was unable to get scheduled with Amber but her colleague (Caitlyn/Katelyn?) helped me try THE dress back on with my cousin in town. She was super funny and sweet and even though I already knew which dress I was going to buy, she let me try on several other styles since it was going to be my last time trying on dresses. I got to say YES to the dress and she took my measurements. I was in between sizes and decided to go with the larger size since it's easier to take in than let a dress out. After the appointment, I was nervous about the size I went with and emailed Amber about my decision to go with the larger size and she responded within 24 hours that it was the right decision. Even after purchasing the dress, they were still providing excellent customer service. Bonus - This bridal salon allows you to pay 50% of cost, 25% 30 days later, and the remaining 25% 60 days later. Super nice to break up the payments especially when you have so many deposits and vendors to work with. I may or may not look at pictures of me in THE dress everyday and cannot wait until it arrives to try it on again. They have in-house alterations, which will make fittings convenient and they do dress preservation for after the wedding. They literally take care of it all. Also, they provide two 2 complimentary steams (one when the dress first arrives and the 2nd the week before your wedding). I went to five bridal salons in two days with two of my closest friends, and I definitely had the best experience at this salon. My consultant, Julia, was amazing, the store is well lit, airy, and spacious, and they have a large selection of dresses at a great price point! Julia was truly a gem. She was kind, considerate, and compassionate, and did not make me feel in the least bit pressured to commit to anything, in contrast to how other consultants made me feel that weekend at other salons. I told her what I liked and didn't like about each dress, and she pulled one that I absolutely loved even when I thought it was a style I wouldn't like. She made me feel special, didn't rush me, and let me try on as many dresses as I wanted. The one fault I would give this shop is that my bridesmaids and I weren't offered any complimentary drinks, not even water, to make us feel like it was a special moment. Its a small thing, but other salons did that and it was a nice touch. The service here was top notch. I only ended up here because they were only place in town that had a specific dress I wanted to see (which I didn't end up going with). Olga was amazing and so helpful. She knew what was in my heart better than I did. Her approach to the process was methodical and spiritual all at once and really helped me visualize myself on the special day. She knows what she's doing. She paired veils perfectly (I didn't even think I wanted one and now I must have it) and encouraged friends and fam to take pics/vids from specific angles which really helped me make my decision when I was looking back at them later. Signature is a bit of a drive if you live in central Austin (it's in Bee Cave) but it's worth it for several reasons. First, they have a really good selection of dresses in all styles and aesthetics. I didn't end up getting my dress here but I did get all of my bridesmaid's dresses here. That brings me to my second point. Signature has the best selection of bridesmaid's dresses that I saw during my wedding planning. They have so many brands, price points, and options. My girls received a discount for buying before a certain date and when it came time for alterations they turned them around in about a week's time. I couldn't believe the quality of job they did too. I worked with Jessica for both my wedding dress search and ordering and fitting my bridesmaids. She was so sweet and had really good ideas. I felt like she listened to what I was going for and worked hard to make sure she didn't waste my time with a bunch of stuff outside of that. I would definitely go to signature again and would even recommend their bridesmaid's section for evening wear since the selection is so big and the alternations are on point. The girl at the sister store was amazing. but they didn't have anything. we asked if we could look at the dresses in the big store without an appointment. The lady there very reluctantly allowed us to look. We did not pull one price tag that was above her budget. I'm sure they had some but everything we liked and then several we didn't like we pulled price tag and never saw one over like 2500.00. it's possible they could have outfitted an entire bridal party. but not with my money. I felt like we were not welcome in the store. they never asked to help or show us anything. It was like we were a waste of their time. I don't know if washing your hands and leaving your bag on the counter is protocol for all customers but it was said to us like we were dirty. read more

The selection of dresses can't be beat, especially with how many dresses they have in store from popular designers like Maggie Sottero. If you've been looking at gowns on Pinterest, odds are this shop carries most of them! I got to spend as much time as I wanted in the dress I loved; I was never rushed, even though they were approaching closing time. The staff here is so sweet and fun - my girls and I had a great time at my appointment. During your appointment, you'll have your own space with a three-way mirror but there's an area up front with a mirror and pedestal by the window so you can see the dress in natural lighting, which is so important. There's also plenty of room to walk around in the shop so you can get pictures and videos of the back of the dress to see how the back/train moves. I'm sort of surprised by all these 5 star reviews. I assumed, because of my experience yesterday, that there would be a good mix of positives and negatives. Anyway, I had just come from a consultation at Blue Bridal on Lamar. The experience there was nearly perfect. Two days later, I came for my appointment at Signature Bridal and was definitely let down a bit. I felt much more like a customer at Marshall's or TJ Maxx than a bride who deserves the "Say Yes to the Dress" experience at a bridal store. Blue Bridal was VERY beautiful and CLEAN. There was a sort of Kleinfeld feel to it, which is great. HOWEVER, at Signature the walls are painted sort of a dingy yellow and the fitting rooms are similar to those cheap retail places in that some parts of the walls are dirty and stuff like that. The girl who helped us was named Sonia I think. For much of the time, I just felt like a bother to her. She told me that basically half of their stock was out of my time limit (my wedding being 4 months away) and that I shouldnt even look at them bc there's no way those could be shipped in time. She took us to the racks and sort of pointed to where each designer's dresses were but didn't tell me anything about price or which ones were "beyond my time limit". She didn't even tell me to tag the dresses, she just kind of pointed to the different areas and walked away. She could be heard chatting with her coworker about random gossipy type stuff when, in my opinion, she should have been helping us. It was just very sort of awkward the whole time bc of the overall feeling of not being 100% welcome inside. After I had tried on a few dresses, I asked Sonia how much time we had left. She said "It doesn't matter, don't worry about time". I was like.... "..ok.. but I want to know how much time I have left to try on dresses. She said there was plenty of time bc I was their last appointment of the day. My appt was at 4. They close at 7. At 5:00, Sonia started the spiel about "well I'll write down the specs of that dress for you and just let me know if you need anything", like winding down the appt. She had just said we had plenty of time so I was confused. Basically they let us walk around and look at other dresses for a while, we did so and we left. Maybe if I had not been to Blue Bridal first, this process at Signature would have been a little closer to satisfactory. I definitely will not be going back there. Its great that they do have many 5 star reviews, maybe this was just an off day or something. But they just did not seem to want to help us! It really did leave me with a 'meh' feeling. Not to say that everyone's interpretation and experience at the same place and with the same people can't be different, but my experience with the Signature Bridal Salon couldn't be more different! It was my fourth (and last) salon I went to to find a dress, and I felt so welcome from the moment I entered, even though I couldn't find the place and was 20 minutes late to my appointment. Dee was my consultant, and she was PERFECT! We both share the same love of sparkle and glitz, and she even helped me find all of my wedding accessories during a trunk show at Signature that took place several months after I found my dress! Ashley, the owner, is also amazing, and I used to stay long after my many visits just to chat with her when there weren't any other brides waiting. In fact, we also bought my mother's dress there (I made my mother find/buy a wedding gown for herself that could come in black... hehe), as well as my mother's, sister's, and best friend's jewelry for the wedding, in addition to my own. I went there because it was a "knot" pick, and I am so glad I did! It was so meant to be! Even more so because they use Barbara Jacobs as their alterations consultant, and she is PHENOMENAL! I spent as much on alterations as the dress costs! Oh.. that's another thing-- I had found a gown I liked "enough" prior to my Signature Bridal trip up in Dallas at the Startdust Salon (featured in the WE tv show "Girl Meets Gown"), but the one Dee helped me find was more original, more sparkly, more detailed, more perfect for me than the Stardust dress, and it was less than half the price! I always tell everyone that if I were to renew vows or need another wedding dress for any reason, I would only go to Signature and look through their racks until I found another dress from them I wanted! Ashley, Dee, and all the girls are amazing, helpful, perfect, everything you want when finding a dress for that big day! I keep on trying to think of a reason to need to swing by there again, just so I can see them! :o) P.S. After beginning my hunt for finding the perfect dress, I was very nervous as to what type of dresses any salon would have to accommodate my plus size body. Upon arrival, Maddy greeted my family and I and showed us around the entire store. She showed me dresses that range from a size 0 all the way to 26. She told me I can try on any dress in the entire store, and even if it is a size 4, she will still put the dress on my body and make sure I do not feel excluded from the straight sizes. Maddy was so kind, thoughtful, and sweet! She made me feel completely confident in every single dress I tried on. She made sure that the dress was fitting as if it was my actual wedding day. She pinned back any extra fabric, pinned back all the sleeves to make sure they were just poofy enough for my liking. After about the third dress, I felt so comfortable with Maddy, she complemented me, and made me feel BEAUTIFUL! I truly could not have asked for a more wonderful experience. I am completely grateful that I was paired up with Maddy and will recommend her over and over again to every single future bride I come in contact with. read more

My party was very dissatisfied with the service. Trinity was very rude, controlling, rushing the bride and was not being reasonable about what the bride wanted. Not allowing her to pick the dresses that we wanted. was very opinionated and did not allow the bride to make her own decisions about the dresses she was trying on or wanting to try on. We did not have a good experience at all, finding a wedding dress was supposed to be the brides decision, her thoughts. But what she wanted was completely stripped away from her the moment we walked into signature bridal. After we filled out paperwork and gave a reasonable price range me and the bride overheard multiple employees pointing out our budget and from that moment we were treated differently, all because we couldn't afford 5,000 dollar wedding dresses which i believe was ridiculous. From that moment it felt as though the entire shop would'nt give us the proper experience that we were so deserving of as for every women who steps into a bridal shop. Instead we were scrutinized, belittled, and rushed throughout the entire process. Trinity was absolutely ridiculous, very opinionated, telling our bride "i don't think that's what you want", "you say you want this style but i don't think that's true". unbelievable, its the BRIDES WEDDING not hers. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about this place. There were so many brands that I liked. I had a feeling that we would find the dress here when I looked it up online. I tried on several dresses and the one I least expected was the one I loved most. Every person there, including the owner, helped me in some way, shape, or form. We stayed under budget. And I even found a veil perfectly matching the trim of the dress. I'm so excited for the wedding now!! Will post an update with a pic at a later date. read more

I had an amazing experience at Signature Bridal Salon! Katie was so helpful and thorough - her and I were a great match (I definitely got lucky with her!). She made sure the dresses were pinned to fit my shape exactly and really took her time making sure I felt comfortable in the dresses before walking out in front of my family. She was extremely knowledgable and passionate! Run, DON'T WALK, to Signature. All the consultants made me feel like a princess. They asked all the right, thought-provoking questions with each dress. I didn't really think I was going to have that bridal "feeling" when I tried on my dress but I totally did and Katie really made sure that happened! The dress selection was amazing (lots of variety) and the service was unmatched! I went to Blue Bridal later in the day and the experience I had there didn't even compare.
