He only gives you skinny unfinished eyebrows during the first appointment, so yes, I was looking forward to the touch-up appointment and his finishing my eyebrows, that I paid for. He says that he was "ill" - why then didn't he call or text to cancel the appointment? He says that he offered to still finish them if I came back - I'm not driving three hours again for a business owner who doesn't show up to his appointments! I even agreed to come back against my better judgement since he had offered an add-on service as an apology, and he refused to say what the add-ons are unless I physically came in again! He refused to tell me over the phone beforehand. And he refuses to refund me so that I can at LEAST get the job finished at another place. What the hell...? Why run a business like this? Absolutely unacceptable behavior, do not listen to him, he treats his customers like trash. I'm all set with this nonsense and cannot get the time back that I have wasted in trying to get a refund from someone who did not show up to the appointment, and who is unfortunately too greedy to refund my money. If the service isn't done, the customer is entitled to a REFUND. It's that simple. EXTREMELY disappointed. I just want a refund... If he truly is "sorry", why doesn't he just reimburse me? I pretty much forgot about the pain after i saw my healed brows. Not gonna lie, they looked too dark for about a week and a half, but i swear i just woke up one day and they were just perfect and everything was worth it. Not too pleasant when you're sitting there for nails, and wearing fairly warm shoes. Two - the "quick dry" spray doesn't dry. Not to put your coat on isn't an option in the winter in New England. Having a place to dry your nails needs to be in place or atleast communicating to your client just sit here for x more minutes then we can check them. And lastly a smooth looking nail is expected when you pay for nails. I do my nails all the time at home the only different is that smooth finish you hope to achieve by a nail technician. The simple nail art did come out beautiful. Honestly, the salon itself is a no for me altogether with a less than average experience. I don't recommend it. I can be more specific of other issues but I honestly don't like leaving these kinds of reviews. I think the salon owner needs to pay more attention to details while there are far too many nail salons to choose from that capitalize on one of these issues. The manager said that what I was asking for was very basic and simple and that way it wouldn't be a problem. Halfway through I was suffering in a lot of pain. I don't know exactly what they were doing to me, but when I went to the bathroom (which was broken) I was horrified at the image, staring back at me. I looked like a cheap prostitute. The eyelashes were so full and thick and nothing like the natural look I had showed them. I immediately went to the manager, and the owner was with her, and he tried to convince me that I looked great and better than the photo that I had shown him. He never apologized, and they made no attempt to reconcile the situation. When the job was finished, I insisted that I should not be paying for this because it was nothing like what I asked for and I had to really fight hard for that. The male owner was so intensely rude to me that I could not pay for this! I insisted that I should not have to pay to look like this, and he kept trying to convince me about how how much time and effort the worker put into me and that she deserved to be compensated. It was quite an argument, and I felt terrible about myself when I left. This business was completely unprofessional. I was treated so horribly. Not only was the service ugly, but the business aesthetic is akin to your local DMV. I was also forced to listen to an hour and a half news broadcast from President Trump at full-volume.
