It's been a while since I've used Signature Glass Tinting because like a lot of people I got sucked in by Instagram ads from other tint shops offering prices that seemed too good to pass up. Lesson learned you truly get what you pay for. This was my third time coming back to Signature Glass Tinting and once again they exceeded my expectations. They have a new location (at least new to me) which it seems they leveled up big time. Ryan and Reese provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. Ryan was knowledgeable, professional and took the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel pressured and even got me in sooner than I expected. I went with 20% XPEL XR Black on my 2026 Mercedes AMG GLE 53 to match my car and the tint looks incredible. The color blends almost perfectly with the OEM factory privacy glass giving the vehicle a clean, factory-installed appearance. One thing I really appreciate is their pricing. The quote they give you is the price you pay no extra charge for using a credit card, no surprise taxes added at the end and no hidden fees. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about other tint shops I've used in the past. My car is looking soooooooo sexy! Can I say that? Anyways, I got recommended this shop and looked through their reviews and was impressed by what I saw. I asked for a quote for my vehicle and David was very informative about what they offer and the prices for each section. I wanted maximum heat rejection while being state compliant. I ended up with 80% LLumar on my windshield, 70% on the front windows, and 35% on the rear/rear windshield with XPEL XR Black. I know 80% is a niche level because most people want dark, but I am in LOVE with the crystal clear visuality and the heat rejection is amazing! I love the soft luxury, OEM+, crisp clarity post-tinting. I love how it is almost invisible in the sunlight and darker in the shade. The install was clean, there was hardly any bubbling - KUDOS to the installer! They get extra bonus points because the film around the housing on my windshield is clean. That place can be difficult for inexperienced installers because of the curvature. One thing I ought to note, although it's not their fault. I made an appointment at 9:00 AM and I was waiting, along with another person. I had no issues with it because the person before me wasn't sure on what they wanted. read more

I've had THREE cars tinted here! That should tell you something! I appreciate how responsive Dave is with Yelp messaging, texting or on the phone. I had two of my cars with llumar, and most recently with Xpel as that's what his shop uses now. They have samples for different % in display for you. I haven't had any issues with the tint jobs ( yet ), and the other cars have had it on for a few years now. Xpel is the newer one, but hoping it'll hold up just the same. I waited a few weeks for the tint to fully cure before writing this review because I'm responsible like that... and also because I didn't want to be that person prematurely declaring perfection. I opened a project through Yelp and let technology do the heavy lifting by requesting quotes from nearby tint shops. Signature Glass Tinting in Costa Mesa responded quickly and clearly. After sharing my car details (2023 Audi A4), they sent over options and pricing. After some research, I chose Xpel XR Black. Yes, it blocks 99% of UV rays and rejects serious heat. Yes, it's nano-ceramic and electronics-safe. But most importantly, it has a clean gray-charcoal hue (no blue or green tint, thankfully). Scheduling was easy, and I lucked out with a next day, 8:00 AM Saturday opening due to a last minute cancellation. Check-in was smooth, and after seeing examples in person, I went with 35% front sides, 15% rear sides, and 15% rear window. We were told it would take about three hours, so we headed out for breakfast. Roughly 90 minutes later, I received a text saying my car was already finished; complete with a photo and a note inviting me to reach out directly if I needed anything (sent from their personal cell number). Now that is above and beyond service! THE VERDICT. Fast, responsive, and genuinely professional with excellent workmanship. They even taped over my car's window buttons as a curing reminder. Super happy with the results and would absolutely recommend Signature Glass Tinting. Can you believe my Signature Glass Tint Llumar CTX has been on my car for more than 10 years! in the hot California Sun! It's held up well except one small back right side window panel recently started bubbling and needed replacement. But hey--10 years of problem free tint is excellent in my book. This was the 2nd car since about 2009 that I have had tinted here and a friend of mine I recommended had his car tinted here too fairly recently and had a great experience. Had not seen David and Kerri in about 10 years and I was glad to see that they were still in business AND as energized as ever. They have a new much larger place since the last time I was in. I chatted and joked around with Kerri and her assistant for a bit about stuff. David looked the window over and had the panel replaced on the spot under the lifetime warranty in less than an hour while I waited. I would have just made an appointment but he said they could do it now since it was just one small window. I was really appreciative that I did not have to come back. I brought my brand new 2026 Tesla Model Y Juniper are having a great in depth discussion with Dave about the type of film and shade to get the best match for performance throughout. Yes Dave is VERY responsive on Yelp quotes or on most other forums too. iykyk. They have expanded to this larger facility which allows them to book many more appointments and clients at the same time compared to having to wait for weeks like a few years ago in the smaller location. They do specialize in Tesla installation especially for the always debated roof glass which they have an in-house piece of roof glass to shrink the film onto first instead of doing it directly on your actual vehicle to prevent the always debated "cracking" roof issues on Tesla's. The installation on my brand new 2026 Model Y went super smooth as expected. I selected the option D installation which was every single glass surface including front windshield, 2 front, 2 rear, and entire roof. I went with Llumar IRX 15 for the 2 front, IRX 30 on the roof, Airblue 80 on the rear and tailgate to get the closed match in front to back. The final meter measurement was 15% front and 13% in the rear with the Tesla factory dyed glass. You can see the quality and worksmanship of the tint also as the films goes all the way to the edges and was plotter cut to size exactly. So they will never cut the film on your car to potentially scratch your vehicle. They do offer a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee warranty too with an add on. Overall another great project completed by Dave and his crew and we absolutely will continue to recommend and come here for all our tinting services. Their work is seamless and I like that they have a ton of experience with Teslas. A year after my first tint, I decided to get my windshield and sunroof tinted. This helped so much with the cabin temperature and helps protect my hands from sun rays. I don't feel the sun beaming on my hands while driving anymore. Then, unfortunately I got a tint ticket on New Year's Eve. I came back and they removed my tint and I got a lighter tint to replace. Recently brought my new Integra to be tinted here and they did an awesome job. I had a Tesla tinted somewhere else and they left huge bubbles and I had to get it retinted by them. It was a 4.5 star place too and about the same price. It had a bunch imperfections, they cut even cut the glass sadly. Here, the tint came out PERFECT, the bubbles were gone immediately. Very easy transparent process and the people working there were awesome had great energy. I would recommend it to anyone! I have tinted many cars. So many places and experiences. Reece at the front knew more about window tint than anybody I have ever spoken to. It was impressive, and I had to ask Reece why she knew so much about window tint, haha. I think the process and professionalism they have is the slam dunk. I was driving in my new car, around noon, with the sun out. I was getting blinded and feeling the heat. After coming out of the store I yelped "tinting" and Signature came up. So I "clicked to call" to plan my scheduled appointment. They answered and said you can come in, I drove home an hour later. They had a ton of space and bays to keep it going. It was the best window tint experience I've ever had. The BEST part was that I signed off on a quote for ceramic 15%, accepting that was the damage. When I went to pay, Reece tells me that the system over-quoted my price. I watched her cross the wrong total out with her pen and drop it by about 19%. Playing with the houses money at this point. My last Cybertruck had some weird double imaging happening especially at night after we put in Xr plus on the windshield. I had to remove tint off a window for a broken window motor - Toyota would not cover under warranty with tint on it.....and signature replaced it for me - no questions asked free of charge.
