I took my '12 Camry to a previous shop and was quoted $600 for basic tint and was charged extra for removal due to my previous tint being in poor condition. I went with the XPEL Prime XR Nano-Ceramic (High Heat Rejection) 99% UV Rejection | Up to 88% Infra-Red Rejection | 66% TSER for $150 for the front doors of my Rivian. I wanted the front windows to match the back windows and was told to go with the 20% and it was a perfect match. I went days trying to search a good quality spot to get my new car's windows tinted. I asked Facebook and looked at Yelp reviews. I narrowed it down to 3 businesses that were in my budget, one being top tint shop. Reached online to all 3, and all got back to me fairly quickly. I came back 4 times to this place and all 4 visits were great! I first came to get my new car tinted all four windows and the rear windshield, which took about roughly less than their promised time of 1.5h. I called in and came back a few months later because the tint was too dark which made it hard to use the rear windshield and the back camera at night, to which the owner cut and accommodated it for free. He said I should test it a few days before deciding whether I should remove the current tint with a lighter one. I did came back for the lighter tint, to which he only charged the material costs with free labor and finished them up in less than an hour (including time taken to remove the old tint). The owner explained very carefully about which tint % I should get given I already got the manufacturer's tint already.
