Don't use this company their employees are always on their phones and they leave for an hour and comeback, hook up their trailer and leave. They've do a poor job all the time, my wife and our neighbor clean our pathway from our apartments to the pathway to the car. When I was promoted to manager at the property I work at, Signature was alright, but as time went on we started to see good employees disappear from their team, weeds not being pulled, leaves being blown under hedges constituting a fire hazard, much of the trimming was left incomplete, debris blown onto resident's patios and finally, they dumped a bunch of wood chips in an area where grass used to be without anyone asking them to. Any time a special project was done, usually a bid was produced, ran up the chain of command and approved and then the work is done. No one even asked for the wood chips. Randy promised to have them removed but before they could do that, they gave us a two week notice that they were discontinuing their contract with us. No reason given. No communication. So much work left undone. I was very disappointed and I wouldn't recommend this company do your landscaping. I'm trying to be understanding, but there wasn't any communication to be empathetic towards. Just a careless abandonment of their duties leaving us two weeks looking for another landscaping company to use after leaving us with a mess without doing what we paid them for. You guys need to be held accountable. read more

If this is the Signature Landscape that is paid to service Pacific Village Apts in Springfield OR, they are unsuitable. For the past year, I have been trying to get them to include my building in their weekly visits. I have literally seen their crew pull up and sit in their truck playing on their phones for an hour next to a pile of storm debris I requested be removed, then drive away w/o dealing w/ it. Because I've so often complained, I've been subject to this as well as a long list of passive aggressive behavior from their crew. It's not that they don't have a work ethic - they have spent more energy than you can possibly imagine avoiding taking away a few sticks from in front of my unit. I'm not one of those crazy people that can't be pleased. My neighbors are all wonderful. I know that no apartment is perfect, yet if you or I acted like this on our job, we'd be fired. read more

Landscaping doesn't pertain to weeds and pulling them to this company. It isn't on the list to even acknowledge customers when damage has occurred due to one of their crew. Apparently blowing the dry dirt and dust towards vehicles is not on the minds of folks in this company. The list can go on....it will interesting to see if the fire hazard limitations, per the fire Marshall) are fit for this company to adhere to this summer....usually not, but we'll see. The manager of Signature is rude and dismissive of any and all complaints; unwilling to bend at all when addressed with an issue. His attitude is that of arrogance and what seems to be irritation regardless of how he's approached. But as a "sister company" in the Umbrella Properties monopoly, this is far from shocking, as Umbrella....and all it's "sister companies" what a crock! .....are now ran and managed by only those whose goal is to acquire as much power and money they can, regardless of who is hurt in the process. Even their own employees are just numbers; bullied and coerced daily--- so I suppose that Signature is merely keeping company mottos....they're lousy, all around, but with their "sister" paying them via the properties, they get paid. Unsatisfactory work. Look better before they started work on the place. When the ice storms hit I had a beautiful tree in the front yard that had one broken limb. Instead of cutting the limb off they cut the tree down...now no shade and yard looks less appealing. Another time they also cut a line to some outdoor lights we had and did not even tell us about it. Just recently came home to find that my nice green grass I have been keeping green is dead because they cut it too short and they won't even take care of the weeds. Will never hire them again or recommend them. read more

The employees make huge messes that they don't clean up. Everything looks worse off than before they came. Employees damaged my personal property as well as destroyed my garden plants. I called & left a message to make a complaint and no one will return my call. Absolutely disgusted with this business! read more
