Signnnnnnature Manor!!! OMG, they exceeded our expectations. When I tell you the staff went above and beyond. I mean we were speechless. My sister got married here 4 years ago or so but I didn't get a chance to see every little detail when she got married. Now that it was my turn, I was sooooo excited I picked Signature Manor. With full transparency, we visited at least 2 other locations before making our decision and were looking at at least 1 more go consider. Our must haves: 1. Stand alone facility (no crammed in a shopping center) 2. Clean facility 3. Plenty of Parking 4. A place that won't nickel and dime you 5. Great staff to work with ***First Impression: This place was even better than I remembered. They had done a ton of renovations and the place looked good, plenty of Parking and the staff was also so nice and courteous. Can I let you guys in on a secret? We would go to Signature Manor every month (because we chose to make payments) before we knew we could pay online... we didnt read the fine print... Anywho, we just enjoyed going there... Talking to the staff, asking questions... After a while, they were like family!! ***Venue: The venue is a nice stand alone. It is large on the outside and on the inside which is a great use of space. There are restrooms upstairs and downstairs. There is also an additional room upstairs for children or whatever you like. Essentially, the entire venue is yours. We have seen some nightmarish weddings where the guests are in the wrong wedding because they are connected/ joined. Not here!!! The separate Bride and Groom Suites are nice because they are right by the elevator and they have locks on them. Very safe! The ballroom is huge and the foyer area is big enough to host a ceremony or cocktail reception. ***Parking: There was plenty of parking, which wraps around the building. ***Food: The kitchen is super flexible and can accommodate anything. We had an amazing food tasting, where we were able to accommodate even our Vegan guests! The cake was also amazing. Yay Cakes by Gina! ***Staff: So, I must say, I am very detail oriented and thought that they may be a problem, but it was not! We worked with Katherine who helped our vision come to life. We were then assigned Alex as our Coordinator and we worked very well together. She allowed me to be free with my super crazy ideas and executived them perfectly. She gave us her insights on what has not worked well and what has in the past, which was very helpful. I would be remiss if I left our everyone who made our Wedding possible from Alice, who heard all of my stressed out sob stories, Asia who kept the party going with Alex, Ryan who gave us a male's perspective and always knew how to keep the jokes coming to lighten the mood... we even saw Bonnie a few times! If you are looking for someone who gives you the MOST for your buck it is definently these guys. The staff was very attentative and accomodating. They provide EVERYTHING!!!! Our package included food, linens, table setting, bride's cake, stage, white dancefloor, and up lighting. Signature Manor seemed like an excellent venue to hold our wedding reception. Plenty of things went very well; however, there was certain things that were a pretty big fail. Every meeting we had before the event was extremely professional, and they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. However, they did not deliver all the things that were promised to us. First, the floor plan they gave us did not even come close to matching how the hall actually got laid out at first. We had to go to the hall on 2 separate occasions to ensure that the tables were arranged according the plan that they gave us. Second, the bar for cocktail hour was supposed to open at 6:00, but they did not start serving until almost 6:20 which is a big deal since you are paying so much for the booze. The bar service was slow and one of the bartenders was very rude to our guests (the other bar tender was amazing). Third, they did not have enough servers for the amount of guests we so many people had to wait an extremely long time in order to get their food (which was very good). My advice would be to be extremely cautious with this venue and make sure to get everything thing in writing including the smallest details as far as number of servers and bar time. Also, make sure to have a good planner on your side to get things accomplished on the day of. If it wasn't for our wedding planner, Liz Pallathumadom I think all the issues above would have been much worse. In the end, I would not really recommend using this venue for a wedding. The level of service does not match the price you have to pay. read more

Attended a wedding here and wow it was nicely set up and so beautiful. The wait staff was always on their feet, never saw a dirty dish on the table for more than a minute (if even). Their bartenders are quite stingy on the liquor though. You'll have to drink double of what you normally do The place was very clean, front of house staff was pretty good.. They can improve on attentiveness though because my sister in law literally yelled 'hello' five times in an empty hall before anyone even paid attention to her when the reception was over and we were picking up personal items. Not only is the venue beautifully built, but they include wonderful all inclusive wedding reception packages that will leave many couples stress free. Truthfully, their customer service is really what has made myself and fiancé fall and stay in love with them. The Sr. Event planner, Katherine has to be one of the most amazing people ever. It was my first time to see the venue and I was impressed. We had a tasting of the foods they would be serving. The staff, Bonnie and Katherine, were very professional, courteous, and helpful. They made sure everything was in order and set up perfectly so that my daughter's Princess themed party looked like a magical fairytale ball. I had my wedding here in September of 2018. From the moment I first interacted with the staff I had nothing but great experiences ! The two people I work with the most were Akshay and Abria. They were both phenomenal!! I chose the all inclusive package with on their end worked out perfectly perfectly . They scheduled all of my meeting and most of them were scheduled in house at the venue. The explained everything in great detail and made my payment schedule. The venue itself if gorgeous with and elevator, spiral staircases, large brideal suite with acces to the upstairs outdoor balcony. The food was excellent along with the decor and bar service ! I loved everything about my wedding with 3 exceptions . - the photographer that I chose through the venue with my package ( there is more than on option for photographers with the package) was average at best . He came alone so he missed a lot of key photos . Some of his jokes/remarks were not rude. He made no attempt to contact me unless I reached out to him first . If I had to do it all over again I would have used the other photographer or brought in one of my choosing -the videographer also included in the package I chose, however we did spend and additional $1500 for the package that included the highlights clip . In is not past our 4 month anniversary and we still don't have anything from them . They keep pushing the date back as to when we will receive our videos and it's veet disappointing. What's worse is their communication. They are very professional in person and over the phone, however they are terrible about communicating with you when you're not in person with them. My husband tried getting in touch with them before and on the day of the wedding to see when they would be arriving and never got in contact with them . They just showed up . After the wedding we had to keep calling,texting, and emailing them to see when we would be receiving everything. Hopefully their quality of work is great, I'm not sure when I'll even find out . -the Hotel Hilton Houston Westchase that the venue partners with for our of town guest ... I worked with Tricia Tebo . Throughout the process and over the phone she was always very pleasant, however the weekend of the wedding was a nightmare for my guests . I had to pay additional for them to pass out my welcome bags, as well as for a shuttle to pick up and drop off guests to the wedding venue . The shuttle was supposed to be a van that held up to 10 guests . However Tricia failed to tell me that the van they had was in the shop and they had a small 4 ford sedan in its place, even though he charged me the full amount. Then at the end of the night they never came back to get my guests . I'm so grateful to Akshay and his team as they found a way to get all of my guests back to the hotel. They also were not passing out my welcome back until I called 3 times after I had over 10 guests say they never received them . The hotel itself is average at best and the staff was not nice to my guests . One of my bridesmaids staying at the hotel who was 8 months pregnant at the time requested a refrigerator and took a day and a half before it was delivered to her room . My main 3 concerns weren't with the venue or it's staff but some of the people they work with . All that being said I want to bring back the focus on the venue itself . If I had to do it all all over again I would 10000000% pick signature manor again. Their cake partner Cakes by Gina was AMAZING. Best wedding cake I've had in my life . She was also very sweet an accommodating! One of their flower partners Miranda's Floral was also excellent! She worked with my budget and made sure I had exactly what I wanted . We are Samunder Club of Houston, 164 families strong, and the reason we chose this venue was because of a) the entrance foyer with its dual curved staircase, b)the gorgeous chandeliers, c) the trouble-free parking spaces, and d) the general décor of the place. We were not disappointed. Of course the area is not nice, but after 6pm the night softens the neighborhood. Be sure what you agree to, because what is in the contract Signature Manor will make sure it is done to the smallest detail, but anything more generates an expensive change order. So plan well before you sign the contract. Our experience, though a bit pricey, was excellent. Akshay Tyagi the Manager, and Angela Echeverry the Event Coordinator were helpful right from the start. They gave us a lot of freebies too!. On event day, they were present throughout the event. They have radios and if you want the lights turned up a bit they do it within a few seconds! Very nice. For our event on December 2nd, 2016, they obliged us with a free Christmas Tree and 2 Nutcracker soldiers in the entrance foyer. Along with the other decorations, the entrance foyer was absolutely gorgeous. Super pictures. The staircase is so large (and strong!) we could accommodate 225 persons on the curved staircase, the top straight railings, and the area below between the 2 staircases. On the floor we put 30 chairs in a row so that the persons standing behind could be seen. Our professional photographer took a panoramic picture and it was fantastic. It's going up on our Club wall! The bar service was excellent, but turned out slow and painful for us. My strong recommendation is to go for 2 bar stations for 200 persons and above. It costs more (we cut out one station for budgetary reasons), but paid a huge price for this. Go with two! The wall lighting gave the entire place a soft pinkish and bluish glow and this was superb. With the chandeliers and the wall lighting the place looked grand. They had 2 gigantic food warmers which held all the food very well. Professional units and they worked fine. We did not use the kitchen ovens because we could not afford it. The caterer brings the food directly into the warmers and then onto the buffet table. Easy. Service-wise, their staff are excellent. Well dressed, professional-looking with white shirt and black pants. They constantly removed half-eaten or used plates off the tables and kept them looking nice. Water was refilled continuously. A special thanks to Angela for putting up with all our small requests so sweetly and always with a smile. She was busy as a bee throughout our event. We thoroughly enjoyed having our event at Signature Manor. Even though it was a bit pricey, the photographs of the people and the grandeur of the place already bring back good memories. Event: Wedding & Wedding Reception Event Date: June 9, 2018 I will tell you the place is beautiful but the staff there (Katherine, Abria, and Alice) make Signature Manor an excellent venue for events. With less than a 2 month lead time, I was planning...from overseas....2 surprise weddings...to occur within a 5 hour block... and celebrating 3 cultures. Yes, some may have called that idea (and the itinerary) absolutely nuts but... it happened and it was a blaaaassstttt!!! Staff: That night was mainly successful because of Abria's & Katherine's attention to detail, speedy responses to emails, event planning knowledge and passion for events. There's one thing to book a venue for an event but there is another thing to book a venue for an event with experienced event planners dedicated to seeing your event through to the end. I have event planning and project management experience so with that comes knowing who you can trust with what tasks to make sure the event runs as seamlessly as possible. I felt Abria and Katherine kept my ideas top priority (even as eccentric as some of them may have been..lol) so I had no problem trusting them to help make my wedding(s) day a success. At times, I would lean on them for advice and it was perfect. It was such a relief to know they wanted the night to be as exciting as we'd imagined it would be. Almost every conversation with Katherine and Abria ended in laughs and encouraging words and it was no surprise the mood and energy of the night were that of good moods and great vibes. During the planning process I'd asked any and everything I could think of asking (easily over 300 questions... one was even about the room temperature during the event..lol) and not only did Abria and Katherine get back to me ASAP but they were so sweet about providing additional info so I didn't feel as if there were a lot of unknowns. #totalwin. If you book with Signature Manor, and plan to have a fun, exciting, unforgettable, event, request to have Katherine and Abria as your event coordinators! Ballrooms: We booked ballrooms 2&3. There was plenty of room for our guests and the lighting for the chandeliers created a nice warm vibe for the night. Foyer: The foyer is elegant with a large chandelier and grand staircase. It's a nice setting for photos. Prior to the weddings, we had tango dancers dance and teach a short tango lesson in the foyer prior to leading guests into to ballroom for the surprise wedding(s). Bridal and Groom Suites: The bridal suite was gorgeous and includes 3 + stylist chairs, sink, mini refrigerator stocked with drinks, dressing area, closet, lounge chairs, outlets for chargers, etc. its pretty much set up so that all your wedding party has a nice place to get ready. Everything was as we planned. We had our reception here. Bonnie did a great job. Great follow up on everything. One thing I didnt like is they do demand a good amount of money for small things. And the venue was not available in the morning at the time we requested for our big day due to a prior nights event. This was not communicated to us in the best way. And they wanted more money for having it open earlier, which I didn't like as we didn't agree on that. But she did accommodate me. Just was not happy with the last minute change. This place is not what it seems. Though the venue itself seems grand, the fixtures are cheap, the ceiling is cheap, and the staff is extremely unprofessional, particularly "Akshay." Barely answered my questions on anything, constantly flip flopped on what was offered and overall extremely not knowledgable about this place. He was not nice to me or my family, sighed before he answered any of our questions, answered our questions incorrectly numerous times, told me different things on the phone, treated my parents disrespectfully, and claims to be on par with hotels like Sugar Land Marriott and Hilton Post Oak. Let's be real here. This place is in a bad neighborhood, on a bad road, with so called "luxury" items that they claim you can't find anywhere else. Do your research. I went to my food tasting there on yesterday, and Bonnie and Katherine made sure that I tried all of the food that would be served on my wedding.
