I was really nervous cuz I have had 2 bad experiences in the past and had not let anyone touch my hair in 4 years. She is very nice and personable , made me feel comfortable . She asked what I wanted to do and listened. She diode a great job with subtle highlights and only trimmed my hair a tiny bit like I asked. Very pleased with the result! I started by showing her a picture of what I was wanting to achieve. It was a prior haircut I'd had, and I noted to her I realize it won't be exact because each hair designer does things a little differently. Well, Maria cut my hair EXACTLY as the picture looked! This is the mark of a very skilled hair designer. The shampoo part was heavenly. The owner is currently in the throes of remodeling, but if she keeps anything, she definitely should keep those shampoo bowls! You feel the comfort as soon as you sit down I believe from their bowls being the perfect height. Many other salons have low-positioned bowls, which are uncomfortable for the patron as well as the hair designer because the designer ends up having to bend down and hurt her back. The comforting shampoo bowls allow you to enjoy the fantastic complimentary head and neck massage. I thoroughly enjoyed LaBella Salon and my experience there today. Maria and I had a nice discussion on hair trends for 2023 as well as color trends. It looks like I will be back sometime soon for a balayage. I just can't decide now how much I want to lift my hair. Looks like the blonde is calling me, but also would like to try a deep chestnut. Hmmm...I guess we'll see.

Super sad the cut was amazing and so was the overall hair for 2 days then I washed it and it's awful. Should've known when she left to get lunch while I still had bleach in my hair, there could've been other ways to get my natural color. My stylist back home is shocked at what this stylist has done cause my hair was healthy and has handled bleach fine in the past.. Will never go back. Definitely a "small town salon" and not like ones in cities that I'm used to... not trying to be mean but my hair is ruined and I don't want this happening to anyone cause this is horrible no one deserves to have confidence taken like this..
