On Tuesday morning, after brushing my teeth, my temporary crown came off and I could not get this thing back on! And the missing tooth is the one right next to my front tooth so it was VERY noticeable. I did a quick search for dentists in the area and this location came up. I was immediately welcomed and when I explained the problem, in a few moments, I was with the dentist and she was helping me. I could not have completed the first week, let alone next week, without their help. And while I would have probably been able to get the tooth back in by any dentist, these guys were great. They were so nice, so understanding and very quick to take care of me. I've had good service at other places before but this was so outstanding I had to take a moment to thank them for their service and for their help. And I'll send them a little thank you besides this to show my appreciation. So blessed & so thankful.

Bad Communication and Billing Practices…read more Short version: I came in for a cleaning, ended up being billed for another service and was told something different sitting in the chair. My dental insurance changed at my employer, so I was looking for a new dentist local to me. I scheduled an appointment for a routine cleaning as a new patient. When I came in they wanted to do the cleaning part first, then have me back in a few weeks later for gum measurements since they said they wouldn't be accurate. While I was in the chair I specifically asked several times if this was a regular cleaning and would be billed as such, even though we're doing things out of order. I was assured several times this would be the case (I've had issues with other dentists doing similar in the past). A few weeks later a bill shows up for the cleaning that my insurance won't cover, and upon contacting the office I received no help or explanation whatsoever besides "this is what we did". I'm extremely disappointed and won't be going back to this office, which is a shame because the staff and Dr. were very friendly. I never had any problems like this in the 3 previous years I was going to Charlick, Springstead & Wilson Dental Associates - I can wholeheartedly recommend them if your insurance will cover it.

I…read morehand delivered the check to the physical office I got services rendered at and they have said my money is still due three months later. There is a note in their system that verifies that they received the check and it has been pending for 1.5 months. I have called many times and been told it was escalated with no resolution. Today I received a text saying money I paid them already was sent to collections. I also called the office and was disconnected "on accident" after expressing frustration with money being sent to collections that my insurance has already paid. DO NOT GO HERE.

The hygienists, assistants, techs, etc are equally as great. I see Dr. Birchmeier and I think he is a great dentist. He has his quirky dentist jokes and asks questions when he has his hands in your mouth! He really cares about his patients and when you have work done other than cleaning, he makes sure it's done right and looks great. The patient area is open and bright. So if you hate the dentist, this set up will help out with the anxiety. It's not a white sterilized room with tools laying around. And they have TV's on the ceiling!

So they followed up with me to make sure they took my insurance and finally scheduled an appt 2.5mos out at the closest time that they could so I didn't have to wait too long. Went in yesterday for my appointment after waiting 2.5 long months and then killing 2hours in the area waiting for my appt time...I get in to find out they don't take my insurance. Unbelievable and very disappointing! This place looks like a step back into the 70s...which makes sense if they accepted crap insurance but why in the world would anyone come here with good insurance is beyond me.
