I purchased new counter tops in mid December. The sale went fine, and I was told that they would be out to measure in the next couple of weeks. About 10 days later I received a text from Kevin stating that they would be out to measure that day about 5pm. No heads up, I had plans to go out a 6pm so I went with it. No one shows up until 9:10pm. Needless to say I canceled my date as Io was waiting for them. I still went with it. BIG WARNING. With todays technology I should have been worried that they did not laser measure the counter, they just a tape measure and paper. (This would get me as the counter was not square and off by almost 2 inches once installed). About 8 days later I get a text from Kevin that they were coming to install the counter. Again no heads up, and again I accommodated them. About 6pm the installers show up and began installation. Kevin called to ask me how many people were there. I said three. He mentioned that there should have been 4, and that one of "his guys" must have bailed. I let them do their thing. The new counter was installed, I mentioned that they did not install the window sill that I had paid for. They said they did not have a saw to install. The installers spoke little English but basically told me I would need to take it up with Kevin. Kevin called me soon after wanting payment. I asked Kevin about the issue and he he would take care of it. I did make payment to him believing he would follow up and make it right. Mistake on my part. I should have held payment. This is where it gets really bad, and I was amazed at the lack of customer service and follow up by Kevin. I called three times in the next month asking for Kevin to call me back. Finally after about 3 weeks I get a text from Kevin asking what I needed. I responded that I would like a call. He said he prefers text. I again asked for a call. He said due to a disability he could not talk on the phone. I responded that he had no issue talking on the phone to take my payment. That is when things went even further south. Kevin called me rude and to not contact him again. He sent texts saying I was unreasonable and made fun of him. I simple stated that I wanted a call to discuss what needed to be finished, and other issues I had found. I have called Alfa granite a couple of days later and Kevin answered the phone. He had no issues talking to me. He told me he was busy and would follow up next week. A week later I call again and Kevin says he would follow up later that week. I said that I wanted to talk now but Kevin did not want to do that. He sent some texts calling me mean again, and not to contact him, that I was bothering his mental state. Seriously? Are we children? I simply just wanted to discuss my issues and come up with a reasonable solution. I had found a few other problems. Areas were not sealed properly, there were blemishes in spots, I had a chip in the counter, and the overhang on the left side is 1.5 inches and the right side is almost 3 inches. Hence use a laser counter measure. As of now there has been no solution, and no contact from the owner. Each time I call Kevin answers the phone and will not put me into contact with her. She has not called me, and honestly I am not sure Kevin has told her. I will be stopping in the store to try and meet with her and also contacting the BBB. I have been in sales many years, and never dealt with someone like Kevin. Once he gets your money does not want to follow up. Outside of the initial sale Alfa Granite has been unprofessional in every way. Pay a little more and go with a reputable company. Kevin and Alfa forget who the customer is.

We have worked with a number of designers there and they are all knowledgeable and easy to work with. This time we got to work with designer, John Epperson, who was adept at executing our vision for our kitchen with the new island and refrigerator cabinet they made for us. Chris Holt came over twice to 1) confirm measurements before install day and to speak with my husband who built the soffit for over the fridge cabinet and to 2) direct the installers about how to ensure the fridge cabinet's fit. They were patient with our questions and changes along the way, happy to entertain our input. Our kitchen looks awesome now despite some outstanding finishing touches needed that they are helping us with. CROOKS! This company will sell you Custom Granite counters then cut them however they want, and…read moreexpect that to be ok. They will tell you they want to make you happy. They do not! Once they have your money you are pretty much stuck because they will REFUSE to make things right, even when they make mistakes. I asked for strait corners, I got round. Instead of new Granite, they took them away and just shaved my overhang, so even though there is a sharper radius. I had to compromise. Next after several text back and forth ASSURING me that the soap dispenser would pump into my sink. They proceeded to cut the hole too far back. And AGAIN instead of owning up to the mistake, they proceeded to come back out and just enlarge the hole, and now water can run down into my sink cabinet. Never once did they own up to these mistakes. It was all Excuses and Bandaids. And being put off for days at a time. Not once did they offer to make it right by actually cutting the counter that I paid for and was promised. By the end they wanted to take up the counters that were already attached to 4,000+ in brand new cabinets, which we had installed ourselves. Fearful of retaliation and losing even more by them then damaging the cabinets or sink. I declined to have them back in my home. Now I'm left with a mess, and out almost 1,300.
