Installed damaged quartz with a chip on the edge of the cutout for the sink and chips where they cut holes for the faucet and water filtration system. They got epoxy all over the exterior of our cupboards when installing the quartz. They broke my sink and when they finally installed the replacement sink they got black tar like adhesive all over the wall of my cupboards. They admitted their damage and attempted to clean it up with paint thinner which made it worse. They miscut a corner of the quartz by the dining room wall. Sent photo to owner of chip in quartz but me. Stein never got back to us. ZERO accountability for their incompetent installers. read more

When the husband first saw it he said, "Wow, how did they get that installed in one piece, I'm impressed!" I had to point out the seam to him! We were very disappointed with our countertops from Signature Stone Tops (contracted by Lowe's). During the install, the guy repaired a chip on the edge of the countertop and failed to put down a drop cloth and splashed clear epoxy across our brand-new hickory wood floors. The company's response to this was that it was a "normal part of a countertop install". We also told the guy who came to measure that we were getting new appliances so that they would leave 30" of clearance for our new range. After the countertop install, we had our cabinets painted and then got new appliances. Our new range does not fit in the opening (the back of the opening is 30" but the front is less than 30"). We were told that we would have to pay for them to come back and correct this problem and that it was our fault for not having the range on site at the time of install (even though the guy who measured did not tell us this). We have had quartz countertops installed in two previous homes and never had any issues such as this. We are very dissatisfied with this company and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

He filled some defects in both cases, but never discounted his bill to compensate. And he charged me $150 to come out to adjust the cabinetry - not for free as he claims. You screw up once, I'll forgive you. Do it twice, you get consequences. read more

Customer service from management is extremely disrespectful. They scratched our floors, cabinets, fridge. They cut our counter wrong then took weeks and weeks for it to be replaced. They took months to come back to finish the caulking and finish making a hole so we could have drinking water. Counter top lines do not match. I could keep going but I'll leave it to some of the main points A very long 4 month process. The rudeness and unprofessional manor of management was shocking. I have never left a bad review before but I would highly recommend NOT going with this company. We contracted through their company and not through a secondary company like Lowe's. customer service at its worst, was told 3 weeks for install at first meeting, then after down payment it took weeks to get answer for install. 7 weeks for install. then they asked to come out and remeasure for the tops. get final bill and they charged me $250 for the remeasure that i didnt request. on top of that the stove opening is crooked and they tell me its my fault that the counter was moved after they installed it. lmao. do not use this place they will screw you over period and not answer your email for days. read more

While the work done by Signature Stone is quality, and turns out beautifully in the end, working with them is EXTREMELY frustrating. Communication and follow up is non-existent. I was told I could come choose the layout for templating and when I showed up at the designated date and time, I was told the counters were already cut and there was nothing I could do. The crew to install my counter showed up 5 hours late. An hour in, after not hearing anything and growing frustrated, I called signature to find out where they were and was told they were on the way. An hour later I called again, only to be told they were just leaving. Two hours later signature finally called me (the first time that day) to let me know they were really on the way that time. They showed up not knowing they had to tear out my existing counters. The time for the plumber to hook up my sink was never confirmed, and phone calls I made to confirm the time were not returned. Explanation about the pricing and discount for cash/check was confusing at best, and I was made to feel stupid for my lack of understanding of both that and what they mean by a dishwasher hook up (this is not the same as installation evidently). While the work they do is great, the frustration caused by the poor communication and follow through is not worth it. Find another company. read more

Their interior designer was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, my husband and I ran into a problem with our faucet placement and another issue with quality of countertop cut by our stove. These details were discussed in a meeting prior to install. The quality of cut issue was resolved with great effort, however we are still unpleased with the faucet placement. We would recommend that the customer get all details (corner radius, overhang, seams, and faucet placement) in writing prior to install. This experience prompted us to check with other companies in the area, post install. We were shown impressive and detailed written/picture forms that are reviewed with customers prior to install. Top of The World seemed like a good company to consider. read more
