I was recommended to see Dr. Sikand and his team in March of 2019. I have lived here in the Las Vegas area since 2010 ( 9 years July 1st) and ever since I moved here, my health has taken a nasty turn. I have had allergies so bad, just the most tired I have ever been,and constantly getting bad sinus infections that would drain down my throat to my lungs and i'd get bronchitis, all the time. I would never be completely well. I would get sick, they'd give me some antibiotics, sometimes some steroid pills to open up my airways and sometimes a shot to open up my sinus airways. This never worked. As a result of the band-aids being put on these issues, i have gained 50lbs over 9 years. As you know, these things increase your appetite or make you gain weight because yow already feel horrible and you are not able to move around like you'd like. Some of it is diet but a lot of it is the medications. The doctors are trying to help, this is not to blame. This is my story. Upon seeing my allergist, Dr. Fredrick Herman, a good doctor out here you guys) He recommended I see Dr. Sikand. Now, mind you, I had been sick off and on really bad for a whole year at this point. bronchitis, bronchitis, and asthmatic bronchitis. All due to sinus infections and an immune illness that does not help at all. I was really not interested in any more doctors. I didn't want to see anything or be seen. I talked with my parents and they were cheering me on to see Dr. Sikand. I got there and I was so nervous. To be honest, i was over everything. Nobody was going to fix the brain fog, the lethargy, the headaches, the ear aches, the constant cough and time off work. First of all, before I even went to the office his front desk had called me. The girls that work that front desk are the best people. They are kind, they are nice and if they don't know, they will call me back shortly with an answer . I got to the appointment a few minutes as requested. I was seen right away. The nurse numbed my nasal. passages ( i couldn't taste anything so whatever lady go ahead.) Dr. Sikand came in and introduced himself. My fear was being dismissed again. At first I thought I was being interrogated, but they needed my information so they could help me. I had to calm down. I was given a CT scan ( great machine, not claustrophobic at all,Takes about 1 minute if they have to adjust you. I am a shorty) Dr. Sikand had a better idea of what was going on after loading up my CT Scan. I had a slightly deviated septum but mostly my sinuses were swollen shut and my turbinates were severely swollen as well, causing oxygen to not get to through properly. I was snoring and not sleeping well at all. He talked to me about the "ballon" sinuplasty. It is not a nose job, this is a sinus opening and it would help me breathe better and a turbinate modification so that i could sleep better. I left feeling a little better. Still not on board, but after talking to my parents and Dr. Herman, I was ready. I made an appointment with Jasmine for the out patient sinuplasty. People, let me tell you about Jasmine. She is excellent. She books the surgery, is in the operating office ( yes it's done onsite) with you and holding your hand the whole time. I know because i was awake the whole time, but sedated nicely. She answered all my questions. She was professional and she is a really wonderful person. I was so grateful to her being there. The other girls are exactly the same way. All of the ladies deserve a raise or lunch on the bosses or something. Okay let me wrap this up. On April 15, 2019 I had my procedure. They called me right away. My family was there with me. However, they went outside to the parking lot because it was a bit cold in the lobby. I went in, had taken the medicine prescribed as directed on this lovely sheet of paper they give you for prep, and we were off. The procedure is recorded for medical purposes for Dr. Sikand. I couldn't sleep but i did stay nice and quiet and relaxed. When I was done, the nice nurses lead me to a room for post op with paper work and instructions. I went right home after having a stop to get a sandwich so I could take my pain pills right away. My head felt like i had ever tooth in my mouth drilled. I did not have any sore throat so that was good. I heard about the sore throat. I bought popsicles just in case. I took a week off of work to recover. They said it takes about 1-3 days but I know me, I heal slower. I saw the doctor 6 weeks after and he said i was doing well with my nose rinse and everything. I still had some healing to go.. After another 3 weeks I saw him again and he gave me the all clear for summer activities! Right now I am at 90 percent. I feel good and some days are a lil sore but other than that I can breathe, I can sleep, and I am able to resume my normal activities. No more brain fog either. I can never thank Dr. Sikand and his team enough for their help and patience with me. read more

Dr.. Sikand is not a qualified doctor in my opinion! He does not have knowledge about his job. He is only interested to collect big money from insurance for 15 min procedure. I am filing complaint with Medicare insurance fraud to prove the other patient not to go through what I am going through. After surgery , I can not sleep at night time! I am up all night, I am tired all day and can not have a normal life. Please avoid to visit this doctor. Dr. Ashley Sikand is amazing!! He is attentive. He listens to your issues does the appropriate tests and explains what you need to correct the issue. I had a procedure this morning. Anesthesiologist Christopher Phillips was just as attentive. He explained everything. My procedure went great. I can't say enough about all of the kind, considerate care given by the Dr's, surgical staff, and office staff. Could not have better care, and this was my 4th procedure. Dr. Sikand did a great job diagnosing the root cause of my sinusitis (deviated septum and swollen turbinates) and he performed the surgery to fix both. I am not a fan of the medical practice to begin with in Las Vegas but Dr. Ashley Sikand, an ENT doc takes the cake as the lowest common denominator in this town. He is prone to try to upsell you on surgical procedures you don't need but what is worse is his and staff's uncaring and mean-spirited attitude towards his patient, of which I am now an ex. Last week at a dental appointment my dentist noticed something on my upper palate. He did not think it was critical, probably a scratch, but simply did not know and we both agreed that I should seek the "expert" opine of my ENT, with T standing for throat. When I first called the office and asked to see the doc, I was given the name of an oral surgeon and told essentially to get lost. I tried again with several calls to the office the next day, Monday as my first call was on the Friday, but could not get any help or even a return call throughout the day. My last call at day's end was to inform Dr. Clown that he could consider me an ex-patient. read more

He appears to be a very good doctor but truly hard to tell when you can't get an appointment. I have a perforated eardrum. My ear gets infected on average 8 times a year. Dr. Sikand said he can fix it but wants to see the ear infected to make sure there isn't any other issues. Problem with that is.... When it gets infected, I call to get in to show him and his office staff either doesn't call me back for 3+ days or they tell me he can't see me for a least 2 weeks. So, 6 months later, after 3 more infections that he hasn't seen, I still can't have my ear fixed. So, not sure if he is as good as people say and it's just his office staff that is so bad. Or maybe he's not that good, and putting me off if better than me finding that out that he really isn't good read more

Recently I saw Dr Sikand's true colors. Unfortunately he was the only doctor at practice that took my insurance... The first visit, he was very nice seemed interested in hearing my thoughts about what I was suffering with etc. However, after my surgery was where things went rough.For one, I developed an infection in my nose a few days after surgery and was prescribed an antibiotic that I am ALLERGIC TO. I was able to schedule my ONE month follow up almost 3 MONTHS after the surgery. During this visit, the doctor came into the room with a student he didn't bother introducing me to or asking if it was okay to have him in room. Dr Sikand did not bother asking me how I felt or how my nose was until I stated to him that my left nostril still feels collapsed and my breathing has not improved. I was in dismay because when I told him my nose is starting to curve to left side after the surgery he basically laughed out loud stating it was impossible yet theres evidence on internet even from various doctors that says it can happen. This doctor lacks empathy and bedside manner and is extremely arrogant thinking he is right on every manner. I will never recommend him to anyone. Stay away as my issues have not resolved and he refused to do the camera in my nose to compare breathability results from before to the day of visit. The Doctors are great it's the front office staff and appointment section. Twice now I've made appointments and show up just to have someone tell me no you don't have an appointment or your late . Twice I talked to th we appointment girl was told your appointment is at 2:40 pm. Then I get there 40 minutes early and told your aunt was at 1040 am. Dr. Sikand and his team were amazing. I was greeted with respect, humor, and immediate concern of my problem. The staff was helpful and broke down certain detailed descriptions in syntax terms. Dr. Sikand was very polite, helpful and addressed my problem as if it was his own. I got a septoplasty, balloon sinuplasty and polyp removal. Going into the procedure, I was very nervous and concerned of the outcome. Dr. Sikand calmed me down and assured me everything would be okay. Within 30 minutes, the whole procedure was complete. Saw Dr. Sikand 2 years ago and he did an in office procedure. About a 1.5 years after I could not breath again( I was pregnant ) at the beginning of January I got a referral to him as my insurance has changed but still in network. Had to wait over a month for my appointment and the day of, they called and cancelled it stating he's not taking new patients with my insurance. Well after we established I wasn't a new patient, Dr. Sikand still cancelled it (my benefits aren't as good) saying now he doesn't take it. I confirmed with the office and with my insurance that he is in network. don't go here, they are all about the money, not actually helping the patient. read more

I wish I'd have read the reviews first. I too would give Dr Sikhand and this place 0 stars if I could. I had a tonsillectomy by dr Ashley Sikhand last wed 8/12/15. He left my surgery before I awoke or before my sister had any time to even ask if everything went OK. There was no follow up call/ email or anything from his office. He prescribed a pain killer and an antibiotic for me to have filled and start taking after the surgery- THANK GOD my pharmacy checks because the antibiotic he gave was NOT mixable with the pain killer- they said the side effects were known and dangerous and they were very surprised they were prescribed by any professional! When my sister called his office to ask for an alternate prescription, she left several messages and I finally emailed them - 2 DAYS LATER the Dr's scheduler replied saying "sorry they had phone issued for a few hours the day before" mind you my sister had been calling 2 days at this point! The scheduler didn't even bother to call us at that point, just an email saying someone would call us soon. When the Dr's assistant, Irene, finally called she said the doc decided I don't need antibiotics since the one he prescribed wasn't a good mix with the pain med he wanted me on. When I asked for a different pain med cause the one he gave just kept me dizzy and tired but didn't help the pain, I was told they don't prescribe anything else. I could go buy some Tylenol if I wanted. I've asked for a follow up appointment as my voice is entirely gone, I've lost 10 pounds in 6 days, can't eat and just want to make sure I'm really OK. I do know this is a tough surgery on adults, and don't want to be overly worried, but I deserve a follow up if I ask for one. Hell, I'm the one paying for the visit! When I called at 9am this morning, I was told the scheduler would get back to me later today- but AGAIN NOBODY has called me back, and they're now closed for the day. I am almost in tears with the pain, and nobody there seems to care at all. The other reviewers are so right- you have to leave dozens of messages to get through, because nobody ever picks up! The scheduler was in regular touch with me, until the day I made payment- 3 days before surgery. After that, her replies were quite delayed/ or didn't happen at all. I am extremely displeased and would not recommend this clinic or doctor to anyone EVER. My regular doc, is wonderful and I went here due to her referral, as she's always referred me to good specialists in the past. I will be giving her my full review in hopes she may reconsider recommending this place/ staff/ doctor to anyone in the future. Avoid this place at all costs of you expect any concern/ follow up or post are at all. Not the friendlist office managers, superrrrrr long wait even with appointment, doctor couldn't do anything to help my sinus headaches. I paid a $20 copay, then when checking out I had to pay another $20 for the "exam" the doctor did...literally the "exam" consisted of him looking up my nose with a flashlight just like they do at any other regular checkup. SHADY WAY OF DOING BUSINESS I set my appointment a month ago to visit the Dr's Sikand's office. After arriving they gave me a form to fill out and sign giving them permission to charge me if my insurance didn't cover said procedure. I had told the woman at the desk I wont sign this form unless i know exactly what the procedure will cost me. She repeatedly kept telling me we would have to do the procedure first, then see what if any that my insurance would cost. I said to her this is not the first time you've done this procedure, you know exactly what it cost. So after getting upset with her I left the office untreated and still had not seen the Dr. and placed an email request for the office supervise to call me. Irene called with in minutes just to tell me the same lame answer. But she added that all we could give is a estimate of costs. But never offered that either. I will not do business with anyone who tries to scam, or deceive me. Be honest in your costs, its better that way. I saw Dr. Sikand after my allergist wasn't able to help my sinus allergies and suggested immunotherapy shots (which I don't want to go through because having my allergies is enough). Being from Hawaii, the Vegas weather and environment irritates my nose all day everyday so I needed a solution . The process was quick and easy. I was referred to Dr. Ashley Sikand's office by my pulmonologist. She had nothing but positive things to say about him. I rarely hear medical professionals speak highly regarding their referrals. Typically, I'm just handed a piece of paper with their information upon my exit. Needless to say, I found this to be a good sign. I was experiencing chronic sinus issues that were impeding my work and quality of life. I was frustrated with previous medical professionals establishing poor rapport and not yielding answers for my reoccurring issues. I am happy to say my experience with ENT Consultants of Nevada was very different. I had no difficulties scheduling appointments and found Dr. Sikand's office to be quick and efficient. His staff was beyond compassionate. Every professional I came into contact with is worthy of a 5-star review! Dr. Sikand was informative and considerate. He took the time to truly understand my specific symptoms and situation. After a thorough and personalized diagnostic process, I received endoscopic sinus surgery. Although the procedure itself was not the most pleasant, my experience with this office made up for it! I have not experienced sinus issues since my procedure (knock on wood!). This was my doctor when I went to get my nose looked at recently. The place charge 210 for a first visit and also charge me $300 for a endoscopy of my sinuses. The endoscopy consisted of him looking with his eyeball up my nose for all of two minutes to see that I had nasal congestion and not a deviated septum. I have gone to other doctors that have done such and had not charged for something so minor. He is simply not worth that amount of cash for that little test I could only imagine if I actually needed a real diagnostic. read more

Dealing with this office has been a 4 month nightmare, I first complained on the lack of professionalism , the office manager promptly responded to my negative review. However , when I called to speak with her regarding the issues, as her response had suggested, she did not answer and never returned my voicemail. Due to a coding error on their staffs behalf I have an $850 collection notice from LabCorp . I've spoke to my insurance, labcorp and the ENT office staff. My insurance as well as LabCorp both have documenting notes confirming this issue and are waiting for the doctor's office to correct their errors. When reaching back out to the ENTs office today , not a single person was aware of any issues and they have no records . Thankfully labcorp and BCBS of SC are faxing all their notes to the ENTs office so they can no longer deny being aware . The staff heavily lack competency and professionalism. read more

Dr Sikand sent me to have a lump diagnosed for cancer but they ordered the wrong test. They told me I had to have another test but they weren't sure if my insurance will pay for it. 2 weeks later they still don't know. Dr. Ashley Sickand and his staff have been incredibly helpful. Upon meeting for the first time, he was very direct, informative and provided me with a solution to my chronic sinus condition. After the Cat Scan was done, I went home and researched the procedure, and decided follow through with his recommendations, setting my fears aside. Two days ago my life changed. I met Dr. Ashley again before the surgery and he made sure I understood the procedure, and answered my questions. The contracted anesthesiologist, Dr. Fonteond, was amazing and took great care of me, my throat didn't hurt nor was it raspy. That same day I slept for the first time in over 15 years breathing with both sides of my nose. Today I had the splints removed another simple procedure, he was quick and gentle. Dr. Sikand is a fantastic ENT doctor. I would give him 20 stars if I could. I was referred to him by the VA through the Mission Act. He fixed my deviated septum but I had some complications in the middle of the night, but it was no fault of his at all. After I was transferred to Sunrise Hospital, they got ahold of Dr. Sikand and he told me to get there right away. He stopped the bleeding, and took the splints out and everything was good after that. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Sikand at his Smoke Ranch and while I do not like going to the Doctor's office in the first place, I did however enjoy my visit to the office. Very friendly staff and I've read some of the reviews and I have to say that I am just not buying it. Personally, I felt the staff was very genuine and professional in their approach when it came to my care and comfort throughout the visit. Its such a relief to find attentive and caring employees working daily in the healthcare industry as I think the ability to listen to a patient's problems is fading fast, but I didn't feel that way at any given time throughout my visit. I highly recommend Dr Sikand and ENTC for all of your Ears, Nose and Throat needs if you he you live in the Las Vegas are.
