I scheduled a new patient appointment online through their system, only to receive a call afterward telling me I couldn't keep the appointment because they supposedly don't have any appointments available for ear exams until October. It's June. Are patients really expected to wait four months for someone in an ENT office to look in their ear? What was even more concerning was that the person who called me, SUZANNE, was an appointment scheduler, yet she seemed to take it upon herself to determine what type of appointment I needed after hearing a very brief description of my symptoms. I specifically explained that my issue was not at all limited to my ear, but she repeatedly insisted that what I needed was an ear exam and that nothing was available until October. Since when are scheduling staff diagnosing patients and deciding what care they do or do not need? I scheduled an appointment with a medical provider because I expected a qualified clinician to evaluate my symptoms--not to have my access to care filtered through a scheduler's personal assessment over the phone. To make matters worse, I spent over 10 minutes navigating phone prompts and sitting on hold just to be told that the appointment I had already booked online wasn't actually available. If patients can't keep appointments that your own scheduling system allows them to book, then the online scheduling system is pointless. The entire interaction was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Based on this experience alone, I would not recommend this office

If I had better insurance I could get in but I don't and cannot afford the insurance they would like to see. They are actively ruining the lives of ANYONE with insurance they don't like and they are dizzy. They are contracted with my insurance yet they selectively choose what issues they want to see. QUEEN was helpful on taking me inside and get me going with a CT scan then NICOLE came in with a smile and cared about what I concern, showed me the inside or my nose and carefully explained to me whats wrong with my sinuses, compare my scan with a normal person scan and recommended me for a " Nose Synuplasty procedure ". After the procedure with DR. Vincent Nalbone ( thank you DR ) , I went home to rest and beautifully, the office called me 2 days in a row to check if I was ok and said if ai concern about anything please give them a call. From a POV of a patient , I feel warmness in my heart as my nose healing. 2 weeks went by, I could breath normally and could smell everything including " ALL DA NASHTY THANG IN THE WORLD AGAIN " .I went in for a Post-Procedure follow up. Saw QUEEN and NICOLE again, they were lovely and gave me great news on my sinuses after a few checks. I dont understand about all the nasty review about this WONDERFUL PLACE !?! Dr Wu was very helpful and knowledgeable yet personable. Dr Patel is definitely charismatic, personable and helpful. The nursing staff were genuinely caring especially Yessica, Haylee, Sherilyn. Sherilyn took care of me with zero signs of annoyance every time while rapidly assisting me and genuine cared for my well being as a person. When I vomited, she was patient and genuinely caring. She rapidly yet constantly provided me with food when I asked for food after no solid food for approx 24h. Haylee stood out by how much she cares for her patients in making sure I was fed which is a big deal because I hadn't had a meal in over 24 hours. Though a nurse in training, Southern Hills would be unwise to not hire Haylee as a nurse when the opportunity arises. Yessica, just wow. The nurse that everyone would want. She acted like a patient advocate and helped in make sure surgery heard my concerns. While helping me she seemed genuinely concerned. I may have to contact the Mayo Clinic in Arizona to get this tumor removed there which takes only one week. The American Medical Association should review this place and remove their funding.
