He said I should have also tried his beef jerky with sticky rice. He gave me a huge portion of each and saw me off. As soon as I got to my car, I tried a bit of it with rice. Not as chewy as most beef jerkys, but it was a bit chewier, and it paired well with the rice, which was stickier than say Japanese or Chinese rice. From what I can tell, he has a local following.
