This time Masterpiece Travels did a great job helping us plan a very complex multi-part trip that included countries, Disney parks, non-disney stops and a cruise. They worked with us to meet all our needs. With them we setup the trip of a lifetime. They connected all the disparate pieces (this was not a simple all inclusive trip we worked out). It all worked perfectly. Any adjustments that happened (minor ones) while we were on the trip where communicated quickly. We had the best time and Masterpiece Travels was a huge help in making that happen.

Everything was tailored so the trip was exactly what I was looking for: she set up multiple tours for us, found amazing hotels for us to stay at which were all very close to the tour start locations, and put in extra free time into our schedule for exploration on our own. Any request I had, she made sure it worked out, or figured out the next best thing if what we had in mind wasn't practical. I will absolutely go to Mary for any travel in the future, this trip would not have been nearly as relaxing or fun if I had set it up on my own, Mary made everything great about this trip possible!!!

Thank you Amgen, Palo Alto, the Tour of California!!!…read more It was 10 minutes until 1pm which is the starting of the time trial, when I got down to University (parked at Stanford Mall) and there was actually an outside table at one of my hangout. I got a pasta dish and sat and watch the cyclist go by. Better than any free tickets I've ever received at numerous sporting events. The atmosphere for Palo Alto was fun times. There were a lot of people but it did not seem to be overbearing. I talked to a volunteer at the event, a couple sitting next to me gave me their extra race sheet and we hoot and holla when the lone cyclist rode by. I got a local cycle girls phone number :), when my iphone camera missed the last great rider, another iphone user emailed his picture to me right there. What a beautiful day for watching cyclist in a beautiful city. I hope Palo Alto gets to do the time trial again, because it makes the race much longer to watch. Check out the shot I did with the cyclist and motorcyclist. :)

Amazingly enough, this person exists in our own backyard. Christian has passion, knows his stuff, and as a result is an incredible teacher, a cool hang, and propagates a love for nature. I specifically wanted to level up my knowledge of mushrooms, but also hoped to gain a new understanding of plants and birds on the California coast. It was a deluge of info, and explained in a way that sticks. If you love the outdoors and want to spend time with someone who really gets it and has a contagious reverence for it, spend some time with Christian.

I knew in advance that on Thursdays (2nd & 4th weeks only), the public street parking in front of the building was off limits for street sweeping/no parking between 7am-11am, so I got very lucky pulling up in front at 11am sharp. Nice. Easy walk. The Foster Museum was very simple, decent, positive, and relaxing environment filled with gorgeous nature views/sketches/watercolor artworks by the U.K. artist, Tony Foster. Good feeling here. Free admissions and good customer service staffs. You can just walk in or register online. There's a tiny gift area not far from the public restrooms. I signed the guestbook at the end of my walk. Good place to hang around/includes unlimited paper, paper/pencils/samples/etc. If you like to sketch and get some creative inspirations, all the nature artworks in the gallery is definitely a good place to start. Not huge, but perfectly quite and calm for art lovers. You can request for an orientation and/or tour as desired. Great first impression during first visit. It's the positive feeling I get from observing the energy and various colorful artworks. Simple and stress-free. Good value/free admissions is totally worth the 1-2 hours here. They also host art classes too, but I will need to take time to browse around online. Good vibes. Staffs are friendly inside. Hidden place. Love it.
