I went into this nail salon this evening around 6:45. I let them know I needed a fill and was told the wait would be 30 min. After a long day I did not feel like waiting but I wanted get this done so I turned on an audio book for my children and sat down to wait my turn. I was finally ask to to have a seat at station around 7:30. There I waited an additional 15 min before someone touched my nails. The woman doing my nails seemed preoccupied. Without any warning, she kept getting up and going over to another client. This was a bit irritating but I was not going to complain. When she finally added the acrylic to my nails, I could tell she was rushing and the the nails were looking thick and uneven. I still did not say anything at this time because sometimes they fix that by sanding them. She then got up again without warning and tended to the other client. When she did, I noticed that she had not put acrylic on the entire nail. This would have caused the sides to raise so when she got back I politely requested that she add a little more acrylic to the side. IMotion to show her where the acrylic was missing and let her know what my concern was about the nails racing on the side she did set back staring at me and told me I could leave and come back tomorrow because she couldn't do them for me. I set there stunned because I had never had this happen before. I asked if she wanted me to leave, because I was certain I had misunderstood her but sure enough she motioned for me to go and said she could not finish my nails. It was clear she was tired and simply did not I want to finish my nails. What I was requesting was an easy fix and not out of the ordinary but it was still at the start of the process and she clearly was ready to go home. I will never set foot in this nail shop again simply from this one experience. read more

I'm pretty laid back about a lot of things but when I have to point out nail polish on the cuticles AND ask you to clean it up that's not ok. When you stop doing another clients feet and don't want to wash your hands before doing said clean up ... I'm done. NASTY ... never stopping here again. read more

Horrible experience with Nina. This use to be my go to place but their lack of staff and wait time led me to go elsewhere. They are very detailed in their pedicure but their wait time is extremely high. I walked in today to get a pedicure. I sat down and waited to be next since no one was ahead of me. While waiting, I was having a conversation with an older lady and we were talking about their wait time. I mentioned how I now go else where because of their wait time. Well I asked Nina how much longer since she wasn't working on any one and she said "For you 2hrs" I said what? I've been here an hour and now you tell me 2hrs. She said "You didn't ask and you can leave now" I said wow Nina you are so rude. She then said "I heard what you said about my service". So you heard about the wait time but didn't hear me say your pedicure service is good. Of course I'm never coming back again but I don't really appreciate being treated that way. Number one you wasted an hour of my time because she was upset over my conversation with another customer, and #2 the other customer had the same complaint but because of a different race I assume she thought she can treat me that way. Good luck with your business Nina and learn to take criticism that will help your business. Peoples time shouldn't be wasted because you cant comprehend a conversation. read more

As of 04/13/2012 I will not be going back to this establishments. Within the pass 3 months I have went in for services as soon as I walk in they start talking very loud in there own language and then they all me. They are very rude and unprofessional. Chow is the person I usually like to see but every-time I come there for an appointment she always too busy to see me and I have to allow someone else to do my service. This place is awesome...my go to salon even though I live in Culver City! Nina does a very good job every time on my pink and white fill and the pedicures i have been getting were always great and lastet long. Also, they have massage chairs for the pedicure which is hard to find in this area. Definitely recommend this place to anyone that values a professionally done pedicure and pink and white fill. read more

This place is absolutely horrible went with my girls for a total of a full set one pedi and 2 mani we were there for over 3 hours and it wasn't even busy these women kept getting up and disappearing for periods of time not only that but I got cuts in 4 fingers total one was bleeding to the point where I had blood dripping then she had the nerve to paint over it right after she had just put on peroxide to top it off had nail polish all over my hands will NEVER come here again and strongly suggest you never go here. read more

I have to say this people don't care for there customers, you walk in they don't even greet you to begin with. I have come several times for pedicure and had to wait a long time. Nina did my full set and she did a horrible job, 4 of my nails are not even clue to my own nails. I had to go back the next day to show her my nails she just put some clue on the back on my nails. read more

Worst Place to go for nails the lady and man that were there were servicing one customer....didn't greet me at all.......so I said Hello and then was greeted.....only one customer so I said perfect it was about 4:15 when I got there and the lady ask me what was my service and I said pedicure she then said oh ok. Then the gentlemen began speaking Korean and told her something she then said ok the pedicure would be 20$. I said oh ok thanks anyways and left. The fact that they said it would be 20$ and price listing said a different price made me upset. So this place will not be getting any services from me. And the guys demeanor read that he really just didn't want to do it. Suits me I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Here is the best place. I'm very like nails shop. I have been coming here here for nearly 3 years. They do full set , gets fill and pedi manicure is good job ! I had such high hopes for this place ! I just moved to LA from New Jersey,and this was the first salon i tried. Not only is it expensive, but the work is not up to par . I asked for coffin shape and instead got square, even after expressing that my shape wasn't correct multiple times. A little over a week into having my nails done the polish is peeling off. I scratched my head last night and one of the nails broke ! I will never go back to this salon and wouldn't recommend anyone else go there either ! read more

I got my nails and pedi done. The workers were extremely nice and fun to be around. I had to wait for a few minutes, but then that's because they were busy. It did not bother me at all. My nails turned out perfect and I will always go back. Great price and wonderful atmosphere!! read more
