How have I not reviewed this place?!? Bekah is so knowledgeable about skincare. The moment you walk in, it really seems like all of your stressors drift away! The place is so zen and meditative. It's located in the Westchester area of LA on a street full of small businesses. There's metered parking outside and I usually have no issues finding parking on the street. So let's get back to the zen factor, shall we? So you walk into a chill, relaxed vibe. It's a small waiting area but you're not waiting long because each time I've gone, they're usually running no more than 5 mins behind (or early). They're not pushy with products and trying to up sell you add-on services. They're very thorough with their approach. Bekah reviewed the questionnaire I completed and also asked questions to clarify a few items. Based on that, she made recommendations. Services I've had at Rising Willow: Brazilian sugaring, forest meadow facial. I've also bought a few products as well from the Blissoma line they carry. To sum it all up...it's a win for me! The folks here are super nice. Earthy vibe, good music not blaring and just enough. Knowledgeable esthetician. I didnt get an opportunity to look at products as I was rushing out the door, but was curious. Bikini-great Underarms-did the job, was a bit bumby- in all fairness, Ive only worked with one person in several years of sugaring that this wasnt the case. Lip-great Tummy-wonderful Eyebrows-go in knowing precisely what shape works for you. No frills added. I've been seeing Bekah regularly for a year for my sugar services, and she's amazing! She's super nice, down to earth and fun to talk to, makes getting sugared very comfortable, and she's a true expert in her craft. I have extremely sensitive skin, and she's taken excellent, gentle care in ensuring my skin is healthy condition during services and after. She's very quick and thorough, and the sugaring is nearly painless at this point! I also saw Bekah for a Deep Cleanse Reset facial. Facials are typically dicey for me as I have an eeeextremely delicate moisture barrier and am prone to extreme redness, which typically ends in pain and having to do moisture repair for about a week afterward (sensitive skin woes). Well, the opposite happened with this facial - after discussing my skin concerns/issues with previous facials, she customized my facial to focus on moisture retention and clearing up congestion. I left with happy, glowing skin and my moisture barrier very much in tact! The location itself is great. The interior is relaxing with beautiful, cool decor, and lots of parking on the street or nearby in the adjacent, free parking lot. Bekah is incredible! She's an amazing esthetician, super friendly and gentle. I hadn't been sugared in a few years and there's a significant difference with sugaring vs. regular waxing and shaving. I have sensitive skin and break out with other waxes. My skin was fine with sugaring and it left my skin much smoother than shaving. It's addicting! I also received a facial from Bekah and it was incredible! She's so talented. My products use chemicals and I've frequented the med spa's a bit, but her facial was phenomenal. I went in for a sugar wax and the experience was truly horrible. I have had Brazilians done for the past 5 years and have never been in as much pain as I was with the sugaring my esthetician was doing. I went under the impression sugaring would actually be an easier experience and it was far from that. Bekah was and is incredible. She has healing hands. My face was so dry and textured when I went in to see her and I left feeling refreshed, moisturized, and glowing. Not to mention, I was so relaxed from the massage that came with the facial. Bekah sent me home with samples of her skincare line that she sells at the business and they've done wonders for me as well. Just had one of the best if not the best facial ever today from Bekah! I've been dealing with breakouts for a while and had quiet a bit of inflammation. Since I now needed to find a new facialist, I booked the Deep Cleanse Reset with Bekah.
