I calmly explained I knew what I was getting and asked if someone could help. Another associate was very kind and told me I could go ahead and grab my item, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the first associate walked away once she realized I would be her next customer, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. If customers are not meant to enter before 8:00 PM, the doors should be locked accordingly. Once a customer has already entered during operating hours, basic courtesy and professionalism should still apply. I remained calm and respectful, but the interaction made me feel unwelcome. This was disappointing, as Ulta usually provides better customer service.
