This pharmacy is the most inefficient and disorganized place of business I have ever dealt with in my 66 years of life. They never get anything done on time and correctly. When you can actually talk to a human being on the phone, they are usually very unhelpful and often just outright lie to you. (Such as telling you they are working on your prescriptions at that moment, but they are still not done 2 days later.) I am done with this store! read more

Really not too pleased with this place. The two times I've used them the service just hasn't been up to a good standard. I'm only leaving a review this time since I was waiting in line for 15 minutes and it was 1:30 on the dot when I pulled up to the window. The staff informed me that they will be shutting down the pharmacy for lunch and will reopen later. I am all for employees getting their lunch but I informed her I've been waiting for them for 15 minutes? If they do not believe they can service people they need to properly shut down the line 15-20 minutes prior to closing. This is honestly just bad buisiness practice and really shows how little proper planning is used. Would not recommend in the future. CVS on Davis is much more well managed and gives all its customers the best service. read more

Arrived for a scheduled appointment for a covid test. Waited about 20 minutes in the drive through only to be told they hadn't gotten my paperwork ready and I had to go to the back of the line. I felt sick. My three kids felt sick. The lady behind the counter was rude and unprofessional. read more

Pharmacy tech must have training. When I called in to ask what the delay in my medication was, I was told, "Don't you know what is going on all around us!" to which I responded "of course I know, what does that have to do with a two week delay of my meds?" Then she hung up on me. Yet CVS has all prescriptions ready, in fact they text you when you are close to needing a refill too. It gets worst with the pharmacy tech, I call back and she hangs up, twice. Very, very childish adult. I then call the store manager to personally transfer me to the pharmacist. It took her to walk to the pharmacy to get my vital medication sorted. This "PHARM tech" should consider another field of work. People feel badly already and then after that experience you feel way worse. It's shame when individuals care nothing for their jobs however worse so when other peoples lives depend on it. Came into the pharmacy get my sons medicine, had to literally wait like half an hour and then when they finally attend me they can't find my sons Medicaid number. Finally they were able to fix the problem, turns out they don't have one of the medication... so I'm like ok when will you have it.. the pharmacist says let me just give you the one we have.. I'm like ok... but your gonna have to wait an extra 15 min. I'm like noooooo!!!! My kids are waiting for me in the car.. I like this Walgreens ok. I get my kids' prescriptions here often and use the drive thru with little problems. They text when the meds are ready. The people at the pharmacy are very friendly. The store is normally clean and well stocked. I do wish it was easier to get help at photo, sometimes takes a while to flag someone down. They seem often understaffed. Also I wish they carried more variety of meds, I have to get some at a specialty pharmacy. All in all not a bad store, just needs a few more people working there. read more

In the 6 years I've been going here (closest to my house), I've learned to leave even more time then they say they need and yet I'm STILL waiting an hour and a half after they said it would be ready. I cannot believe how painless my shingles shot was!!! My regular doctor's office was out of shingles immunization, but they suggested I go to pharmacy. I was leery, but needed to get it done. Adolf was the Pharmacist who gave me the shot. I am the biggest chicken when it comes to shots! As a grown woman-I freak out at the thought of needles. Hate them. Adolf not only made me feel at ease, but he gave me the immunization quickly and I felt nothing!!! I am not exaggerating. I hope that anyone (like me) who has a phobia of shots, will ask for Adolf at this pharmacy. He was the best!! I will be going back to him for a flu shot! I just encountered the worst customer service at this location. I actually greeted the young male cashier with a Hello, he never returned my greeting. All he said was did you want to enter a phone number I said no. Then he wanted me to carry a 12p roll of tissue out w/o a bag. I asked if he would bag it please. The pharmacy is so slow. You would think that they are understaffed, yet that isn't the case. Once your doctor calls in your prescription wait at least 2 hours before you go pick it up! I found that to be the only way you would have to wait 20 minutes instead of an hour or more. The store is average and nothing stands out. I normally try to catch my natural hair products when they are on sale. Other than that, just go to the 24 hour Walgreens on Rufe Snow or hit up the Walgreens on Davis and North Tarrant instead. read more

Unquestionably the worst customer service we've ever experienced from any pharmacy we've ever used. They frequently mishandle refills and blame the doctor for not sending it in. Then, on more than one occasion, we discover the clerks didn't bother to look in the computer to see the new refill authorization. When you comment to the clerk, you get the same defensive attitude. Don't bother calling to see if your refill is ready. Several times they tell you it is, then when you arrive and wait 20 minutes in line ... it's not. If you are older, automatically they assume you aren't intelligent enough to know how to use the computer to refill. Complaints to Walgreens corporate are a waste of time. The corporate culture of Walgreens is one that ignores customers. We moved our business to Tom Thumb. What a giant step up in professionalism and service. The pharmacy techs are professional and efficient. Until Walgreens decides to get rid of their pharmacy techs who show attitude and disdain for their customers, it's a company that just needs to get out of the patient care business. It's not their focus and they don't do it well at all. read more

This review is specifically for the pharmacy. Please save yourself the time and frustration and use any other pharmacy. I called to update my insurance information at the beginning of year, but apparently they did not actually make the changes to my account. My physician called in a prescription a couple of weeks into the new year. I got a voice mail saying it was delayed and no further action needed. No problem, they always have to order it because it's often not carried in pharmacies' stock. A week goes by and I haven't heard anything but my app says it's not active anymore. I stop by the pharmacy to see what's going on and find out that they had the wrong insurance information. They told me the insurance on file wouldn't cover it so they closed the order. They did this without notifying me. I updated my information again and thought mistakes happen it is okay. Then several days later I see in my app that the order is not active again. I go to the pharmacy again to figure out what happened. They had the insurance information wrong still and made the decision that since my insurance didn't cover it they wouldn't fill it. Again, they did not notify me. They are making health decisions for me without notifying me or giving me the chance to see if I should get a different medication from my physician or calling my insurance to discuss the formulary of medications covered. read more

Every time I shop this location customer service is amazing. The pharmacy usually has a wait, but they give awesome service every time. If you shop for cosmetics at drug stores this is the location you need to go to. Their beauty consultant Miesha is FABULOUS! She actually trys products just to be able to give an honest opinion and knowledge feedback on what product would be best suited for your specific needs. I would highly recommend this location for any drug store needs, but will literally never shop for cosmetics at another location due to Mieshas awesome customer service and knowledge of the products. read more

Now waiting another 45 min to get them filled. I understand being busy, but this store has definite staffing problems.
