Their window claims "REPAIRS" so…read more.. when my brother in law fixed my broken iPad screen but I got it back with the button not flush with the glass... I popped in to see if they could help. The first question I was asked was "how much money are you willing to spend?". When my answer was "as little as possible" I was THEN informed that it would take a few hundred and it didn't matter anyway because they can't touch apple products. So... which is it? Was it that I wasn't willing to spend the money, or is it that you aren't allowed to touch apple products? I have a funny feeling if I had answered the first question correctly, I could have gotten my button re positioned. Maybe that sits well with some people, but, not with this person. I feel that any level of untruthfulness makes any business unworthy of my money. If I had said "whatever it takes" would they have been able to work on it? If there was never a possibility of getting it worked on, why would the subject of money be the first question? Shouldn't the first thing out of your mouth be "sorry, we are prohibited by proprietary law from working on apple products" To me... that says shady. To me that's enough to never darken their door again.
