This spot was a bit out of the way for me however the town is so nice we made a day trip of exploring the north fork. Being a fan of Ricky Teevees designs, this was a must go! This place is huge, the layout is fabulous. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was rather busy. The displays of everything are perfect & the space feels very lived in. Price wise this spot is up there however it's real vintage stuff. I didn't need any help however the staff seemed nice and played some good music :)

The entire time we were in the store I felt so unwelcome and felt these girls just staring at us judgmentally. Their book collection is generally exceedingly boring. Old, obscure writers, poor condition. Hopefully my books will sell. This is a very well-kept and appointed store. They have some beautiful things. I am partial to fine china and crystal, but fortunately do not have room for any more. Prices here can be high, but the overall quality of the items is great. I struggled mightily against buying some particularly pretty china, did not give in, and wandered through the store. There was a tea cart that would have pounced on, but alas I already have one. Sad, because I like theirs better. At $175, it's not cheap. The people who volunteer here are very nice I was saddened to see a sign saying that they had to close the changing rooms because of tag switching and theft. That's really terrible. What awful people, to steal from a charity. Anyway, it was fun to wander around. Very pleasant store. Not necessarily a place to find bargains, exactly, but you might find something lovely and help a good cause.
