Like as if she didn't have money because she was black. It's a cute store, but they should really teach their employees not to hound people and judge them. The great reviews lead us to Candy's on a quiet rainy afternoon. The only ones in the store he was made to feel like a king, asking all sorts of questions as kids his age do and wanting to more or less see everything. Candy was beyond patient and helpful, letting him see the pieces in the price range I'd mentioned and put them side by side so he could make his choice. I have been a customer here many times and found the work average. Recently I brought Two gold…read morerings into Candys Jewelers to be sized up. I was quoted a flat fee price, the shop sized my finger for the rings, when I received them they were too big! I was informed there was an additional fee to "re size" the rings. I also sold several rings with stones in them for scrap, Candys did not pop out the stones which I later found out reputable jewelers do, nor did I get itrmized bills of jewelry I sold her. Expensive lesson learned. My message here is know your jewelry and shop around.
