Regarding the service department, ******* horrible. They simply do not care if your car is repaired or not, when it gets done or not, or whether they should give you a call to provide you with an update or not... As a customer, you are nothing more than a means to an end, which is to do the least they possibly have to do to get a paycheck. I cannot speak to the sales department but the service department, which you will need for any existing or new Fords, is a complete disaster. It is the worst that I have used in 20 years. This determination is after a dozen service opportunities to do it right. Every oil change leaves large, wet, oil stains on my running board and oil soaked footprints in the carpet. This happened three out of five oil changes. At a recent rotate and balance,my F250 lost three of the balance weights in the first sixty miles driving at 60 mph. They have no software or any system for tracking progress of any service work. If you stop in or call to check on the status of your vehicle, they have to try to track down the mechanic. They have never returned a call for an estimate to complete the work. They keep an extremely limited parts inventory so most likely your parts will have to come from Boise, which can take two or three days. My recommendation is drive to Twin Falls, Mountain Home or Boise and save yourself money and trouble. read more

Made an appointment fir a wheel alignment fir 1 pm today. When I arrived the service writer said they couldn't do it today. I explained that I just drive 12+ miles for the appointment. He said sorry, the alignment guy quit yesterday. I said I understand things can happen but why didn't he have the common courtesy to call me. He had no answer. I said that was disrespectful. He said, so don't come back here! Crude employee that needs training in customer care and common courtesy. This was the second incident at this dealership, the last one being a salesman trying to trick me into buying a used car that was different from the one I asked fir and he claimed had been delivered I will never deal with this place again. read more

My engine warning light came on less than 10 miles after having Silver Creek Ford do an oil change on my '17 Ford Escape. After returning it twice more, with delays, they said it was a broken sending unit and would order a new one. After more delays, they said the supplier had sent the wrong one and needed to keep car longer... over a weekend. I had commitments, no other car and had to take. But was willing to return it anytime they said. Service mgr/clerk said he would call me with a time. Never called. But at that point I was hesitant to return anyway. Maybe it was a good thing! What new problems would they create? And all over a routine oil change. Years before I had used the old (original owner) Silver Creek Ford several times with good results. But never again, not now! Took my Ford Explorer in for an oil change got it back after their 99 point inspection. They failed to tighten the inspection plug on the rear differential. Took it back and they were rather rude about the whole thing, said I was making too much out of it. Had to force an apology from them. They eventually refunded the price of the service. Had I not found the issue the rear differential would have been ruined and based on their attitude getting it fixed would have been extremely difficult. read more

I brought my car to these "gentleman" for an alignment service, they did not bring it fully into spec and they did not correct the pull that was the reason for the alignment in the first place. When I tried to have them correct the pull, they had me drive over an hour to their shop for a second time, then told me that they did not have time to work on the car. Finally when I tried to schedule another appointment their incredibly rude service rep Debby told me that my car had too much rust to be worked on. My car is a 2005 VW Touareg! She finally hung up on me because I was asking her why if the car had too much rust to work on, why did they work on it in the first place? Incredibly rude staff and horrible service. How often do you take your car in to get something fixed, after two hours they are still not able to fix it, and you still feel good about the service you've received? That was my experience recently at Silver Creek Ford. It was a messy problem, involving trying to remove a bolt from an air conditioner compressor to replace the clutch for the system, and it just couldn't be done that day. The service manager was very friendly and helpful in explaining the issue, and they did not even charge me for their efforts. Fortunately, since I was in the middle of a two-week road trip, I was still able to drive the car home safely, if without any AC. If I lived in Hailey, I would think seriously about making Silver Creek Ford my go-to play to service my Ford Explorer. read more

I bought a car from them about a month ago and have had many problems already, when I took it in I was told it needed an all over tune up and new spark plugs, on top Of 2 other things and that it would not be covered by them anymore. They completely took advantage of my wife when she took our truck in to get oil changed and fluids topped off. They told her it it would be $60 - $100 for the service. After they had completed the work, they changed their story and told her it was going to cost $211. If that wasn't bad enough, when she paid and got into the vehicle, she saw that they didn't even top the fluids off (which is why we went in there in the first place). When she went back in they were very rude and told her that was going to be extra!! When I called in to talk to the manager, they sent me straight to voicemail twice. Silver Creek Ford has the worst Service Dept I have ever used!!! We have 2 new vehicles 2016 models every single time they have been in for oil changes and now new tires we had to bring the vehicles back for one reason or another. The last straw was getting new tires multiple calls to see if they arrived only to find out after the second call they had been sitting on site all the while. We went to Silver Creek for our first car. It has been a nightmare since buying. Lies, deceptive promises, and a total lack of honest service has all that we have known trying to get them to hold up their deal of the bargain. To get any information from them requires the person to call several times and keep on them, otherwise you won't get anything done. I also would never trust their service center. A week within buying the car we had to have the alignment aligned (2 degrees off) and four new tires placed on it (the "new" tires they placed on it were dangerously bald).
