2025 Subaru Crosstrek Limited in Sun Blaze Pearl

I'm a happy customer. I live over 100 miles from the Twin Falls Subaru dealership and was unable to visit them and test drive the car I ultimately bought in-person (although I did drive another one at a different local dealership). Twin Falls Subaru not only had the best price on the Crosstrek I wanted, they were also the only one that had it in the color I wanted (Sun Blaze Pearl) and with the option package I wanted. And they were also able to deliver it to my home in Boise. Additionally, they also sent a representative to my home a week later to go over all the features and help set up some of the technology the car comes with. I was both grateful and impressed. Also, special shoutout to Automotive Anonymous, for their videos and referral to Twin Falls Subaru.

July 2024 My car took a nosedive and needed a new transmission. It was time to finance a new one.  Even without a warranty, Subaru took incredible care of me. They let me borrow something so I could make it back and forth to work. They shopped around with me. They were honest and upfront about what was good and what would suit me and what would not suit me. I cannot recommend working with JT enough. He will be there for you to answer every single grueling question that you have and greet you with patience and friendliness for each one. He is kind and genuinely there for the customer.  They take the time to get a feel for your lifestyle and what you're comfortable in, before showing you anything. You also get the freedom to browse around the lot and the site at your own will if that is your method of shopping around.  Every time I came in; they were gracious, kind, and accommodating. I came in a lot for the few weeks before I purchased my second Subaru Forester.  God knows I take forever deciding anything, but not once did anybody lose an ounce of patience in that.  Also, I never felt an ounce of pressure walking through the doors. They thoroughly paid attention to my needs and put me in something that they knew that I would like. I had to keep my payments pretty low, and they gave me the best deal I could get and helped out in ways they didn't need to. To top it off; they put me in something that I absolutely fell in love with.  They helped me out and guided me through the financing process and gave me a really incredible deal for a really incredible vehicle. I have never met a car dealership that can turn around a bummer of a summer in seconds.  Anytime I have come in there with my dog, they are equally as accommodating to him and he is very comfortable there.  Meredith went on several test drives with me. She sent me cars and we told dog stories, and she spent quite a few weeks with me helping me make the right decision. Paola was also a total sweetheart and test drove a few cars with me as well.  Finally when I found the right thing, they worked fast on the process and gave me the best possible deal. Jaydon got on it immediately and will pull every string that he can for you.  Painless, accommodating, affordable, and no pressure was given from every staff member I have ever dealt with there. This isn't just selling cars, this is an entire experience. I will continue to recommend Subaru to all of my family and friends after the experience that I had (again).

I have had 2 different Outbacks that I have brought to this dealership for service over the last 8 years. Employees and the quality of service has fluctuated greatly during that time period. In October of 2019 I received the best service at this location. Kudos to Dave Morrow the service advisor. I needed some clips for a wheel well cover, that were missing since a headlight was changed (not done at Subaru). The clips needed to be ordered, and I would not be back to Twin Falls before leaving on my trip. Dave delivered those clips to my work the next evening! Perfect. The waiting area at the dealership is comfortable, snacks and coffee are provided. I have had a loner car twice. It was really nice to drive the Crosstrek. Thanks everyone at Subaru of Twin Falls!

Straight edge on a rotor showing there is no ridges/scoring. very serviceable. Just normal rusting on the non working surfaces.

Last week They took my Subaru in to replace the airbag under recall. When they where finished the service manager ( Michael )called to say it was done. He then said his tech had determined that the brake routers where all scored and the pads worn and all needed to be replaced. This did not sound right as 10,000 miles earlier I had replaced the rear rotors and pads as one of the pads had lost its friction material and ruined that rotor. I replaced both rear rotors and pads. The non damaged pads showed excellent material remaining. I replaced the rear rotors and pads to keep them all even on that axle. At that time there was about 70,000 miles on my Subaru. 80,000 now. I brought the car to my shop and inspected it. NONE of the lug nuts showed they had been removed recently. And a wheel has to be removed to measure pad wear. I removed the front wheels and pads. The rotors where in excellent shape and the pads had at least .2 inches of material left. Minimum by my shop manual is .0625 inches so I still had at least 3 times the minimum. I measured the rotor thickness and there where also okay. Very disappointed that some one at this shop lied to me to get me ( a senior citizen ) to authorize a complete unneeded brake job. And if they did get authorization would they have then decide the calipers also needed to be replaced? Driving up the coast even more? Lucky for me I have been working on my own vehicles for most of my 70 years and have the tools to do work. Some one with out that knowledge and capability would have been out of a lot of money. While I had the front brake pads out I replaced them early as I had already done the work. $50 for a new set of pads and I could easily have gone another 20,000 miles. I do not run my own repair shop. I have farmed and been in agriculture most of my life and did a lot of my own mechanical work. Beware. Some one at this dealer will lie to you to get more work/your money. Run away fast. In my opinion PS. I can not see anything wrong with the air bag replacement. I just hope it was replaced.

They are saying that they have tried to communicate and offer solutions, but this is the farthest from the truth. I have documentation, text messages, and phone calls where I am all being told different things. The one thing I am consistently told is that the GM will call me back - yet never does. I have been attempting all avenues of resolution as it has been almost two months (my truck was towed to the dealer on 12/15) and there has been none from the dealership. The truck was supposed to be repaired under the dealer warranty per the conversation the finance manager said he had with the GM on 12/26 @10:03AM and here we are in February with no communication and no repairs. I am wanting to reach a resolution and keep trying different avenues to do this. I would like for the dealership to honor what they have stated, but I also want and need my vehicle back in good working order and condition. When we picked up the car, there were scratches and marks that our salesperson, Josh Bouchard, photographed and promised would be fixed. We later met with Steve Long, the General Manager, who said he would call us with an update. Weeks went by with silence until we finally reached out ourselves. Ten hours later, I arrived at the dealership, only to find the vehicle in much rougher shape than I had expected. It turns out all the photos on the dealer's website were taken from angles very careful to avoid showing the scratched and damaged areas on the vehicle. Further, I found the same vehicle had been purchased on an auto auction site a year previous that DID show the damage to the vehicle, meaning the dealership made a conscious effort to play down the damage on its website. Worse, it's also clear that some of the damage was worked on to try to conceal it, which only made it MORE visible, though I cannot definitively say that work was done BY the dealership. Most frustratingly, the dealership was not willing to budge on pricing when shown all the defects of the vehicle in question, even though they were asking almost $7000 more than was paid at auction and no work had been done to the car since. In fact, the car had been sitting for sale on the dealer's lot for over a year, ever since it was collected from the seller following the auction. I have zero issues with the sales staff at Middlekauff, they were very straightforward and never tried to "get away" with anything. Further, I had to have their service department address an issue with the car, which they did immediately and cheerfully. But bottom line, had they been more straightforward about the exterior condition of the vehicle and had they been willing to negotiate on pricing, I would be driving it today; instead I drove back home in the vehicle I was going to trade for it. It was certainly an enjoyable drive there and back, and a pleasure to deal with both the sales and service staff, it's only the management I have an issue with. They didn't even TRY to contact me later to win over my business or come "running after me" as I prepared to leave; a salesperson mentioned the owner buys and sells cars at auctions for fun and doesn't care how long they take to sell... and it shows. Is that a reason to avoid them? Not at all, but it's also not a reason to recommend them. They know what they want to sell the vehicle for no matter how far outside market pricing it may be, so don't go expecting to strike a "fair deal" - it's pretty much a take it or leave it proposition at Middlekauff.

So many undisclosed issues like paint issues, loose front bumper, loud wheel bearing/worn tire, alignment. When I mentioned that the vehicle wasn't as described, Blake said "it is expected for a used $28k vehicle to not be perfect." While that statement is true, I was not looking for a perfect car, I was looking for a reasonable car. I then told them that I would need a discount to repair the undisclosed issues the vehicle had. They said they cannot go down, In fact, if they do, it would mean a lower tradein value for my vehicle which ultimately means they did nothing to help the situation and literally tried to even it out. Test drive began with salesman Blake driving to a convenient store parking lot, then he asked me to switch seats so I could test drive. He mentioned it was their policy that only the salesperson drive the vehicle out of the lot, then allowing the customer to test drive it back to their lot. Never heard of this before and seems disingenuous to not allow the full round trip for the customer to test out a $28k vehicle. I then requested to speak to the sales manager. Mr Blake, the salesman who assisted me went back and forth from his desk to the managers office, ultimately returning with the same results. I was advised the manager is "currently working on multiple things and is busy." Which tells me he doesn't want to own up to the dealership's mistakes and accommodate a sitting customer with funds ready on hand.Just to clarify, Blake sent me a short walkaround video, where he began pointing at a couple areas on the hood where paint was touched up, however, I evidently found out that the paint used was the wrong shade of white. The vehicle had a pearl white paint exterior and the touch up paint was a base white, which is different. It wasn't even done correctly with a tiny brush, it was smeared with someone's finger, as they glided the wrong paint around the rock chips, but failed to fill the crater left by the chip itself. After pointing at the hood, Blake cotninued to talk about the features it has. What I was more concerned with, is the rest of the body's condition. After not disclosing the remaining issues, I was certain he would stand by any shortcomings from hiding the new issues i found out about. Finally, when I arrived, I saw it pulled up to the front of the dealership. I immediately saw the front paint damage that was touched up on the hood, however, they discounted the severity of the problem, because there were multiple areas with touch up paint, including the hood, driver's front door, the tailgate, and more. I also noticed that the front bumper was separating from the top corners, indicative of prior replacement (fit and finish won't be like Toyota), loose rivets, or the vehicle may have recently collided with an object or another car. Yes, it had a "clean" Carfax with 3 owners but I do not trust carfax since not everything gets reported. Carfax works for the dealer, not you. The finance manager "Guillermo" said he'd rather sell it locally there when I mentioned that I would appreciate it if they could work with me on a deal, since I am a committed buyer driving far (8hrs). This is the same Guillermo who had to be educated on why prepaid maintenance program is also honored at my local Toyota. He wanted to charge me a fee in the selling price, not allow me to opt out, and still require me to drive 8hrs for this service plan which includes oil changes and tire rotations. Blake corrected him, rightfully so, but the alarming fact is that he was certain he was right in the first place. Considering his position as "finance manager" Guillermo should have known better. A bit condescending and arrogant in my assessment. salesman was kind and responsive to my questions but it would have been nice to know those things before driving 8hrs. I don't recommend Wills Toyota for used cars if you don't want hidden problems and disappointments. What a shame.

My whole story is too long for the review and it won't let me post it, so in short version, my wife…read moreand I live in Virginia, where they use salt on the roads and all the cars out here are rusted. We flew to Idaho and found a car that would fit our family at Twin Falls Chevrolet. The salesmen were so nice when we were signing papers and everybody wanted to help us and it was so pleasant. After we finished signing papers, they asked us to scan their QR code and give them a good Google review, which I gave a great one at that time, and then we went out to the parking lot and took a picture in front of the car with our thumbs up and everybody was so happy and all was well in the world... After we left the dealership, we started our journey back to Virginia. About 500 miles into our trip the check engine light came on. When we had the code scanned at a car parts store. It came back as catalytic converters. Which, when the code is manually deleted, takes right about 500 miles to show back up... coincidence? I think not. When we got back to Virginia, we had the required state inspection done and we ended up having to put nearly $8000 into the car to have it safe to drive on the roads and get it registered. This wasn't the worst part... My temporary tag expires on 9 September, today is the 8th. It took me five trips to the DMV and nearly a dozen calls to the dealership, which none of my calls were ever returned, I had to make every call to get things done. I couldn't get a bill of sale sent to the DMV. Finally today, the lady at the DMV talked with her manager and they were able to get the car registered without the bill of sale. I got more service at the freaking DMV than I got from Twin Falls Chevrolet! If you are thinking of buying a car from this place, just be aware that after they have your money, you are crap to them. They will do nothing to help you after you buy a car. I absolutely will never buy a car from this place again and I hope my review saves a few people from the same headache that I've been through the past month!
