11.3.25: First time here and came to exchange something at one of the stores. My friend told me Black Sheep bought out this mall and sure enough, when I walked in I got the Black Sheep vibe. I feel this mall has a lot of potential and took a pic of the directory so you could see all the stores that are there. Again, I came here to exchange something at Bath and Body Works, which worked out great. Women's restroom near the food court was clean and stocked. Life is good store Was there today and was looking to get me a new shirt from coeurd'alene. I was looking at the purple one with mountains on it. Saw the price then I put it back down and went to talk to my husband about it and the employee that was there working asked me if I was going to buy the shirt and I said no and she was like what about the shirt in your pocket. That was my phone which I showed her and at that time we left. I spoke with Brian about this situation. He said he would handle it.. But still that is not right at all. So be warned. You wear a sweater and have your hand on your phone in the front pocket the lady here will think you are stealing. So I advise you don't so you won't be accused of stealing like I was. read more

This is not really a mall. Don't expect a mall. At this point it's Black Sheep sporting goods with a couple of other random businesses inside. Stores show a cool looking brand or a place seems like a unique store, but in the end it's just another section of Black Sheep. If you like that store you will love this mall, but honestly we felt tricked going into this place thinking we were going to the mall. I guess it's cool that they're using the space, but it was a creepy and weird visit and I wish they had changed the signage on the outside because when you get there everything suggests it's a mall. read more

Love how this mall has been saved is thriving. Black Sheep is doing a fantastic job and Macy's was amazing and had great sales!! Enjoyed a protein shake from the Black Sheep coffee shop and found some great deals on jackets at Macy's since temps were cooler than expected on our trip to CDA. read more

The owners of the black sheep have really put a lot of effort into improving the space. Lots of little shops and local small businesses. They're even remodeled the bathroom to have stall locks on the doors that show red or green so you can tell when the stall is occupied. Actually kind of a big deal! read more

I was on a recent visit to the area and thought visiting the local shopping mall might be fun. We thought it would be a good way to get a feel for the area. We were very pleased. It was a nice crowd and a nice selection of stores. Didn't shop extensive but it seemed like a nice selection of stores and places to graba bite to eat. read more

Lots of Parking & very quiet during the weekday, the place inside was dead & not many shoppers, their was a mall security officer walking around & I seen a few retired couples/people walking the inside loop to get exercise & some stores were closed which I found very odd, they do need more name brand stores in this mall. Their are a few food places to eat & plenty of seating, the mall was clean & the bathrooms to, over all a Great place to go on a rainy day for peace, quiet & a little shopping with NO crowds or to grab some coffee & surf your laptop. read more

I stopped by the Silver Lake Mall for lunch today at Cast, Blast, & Relax in the food court. I had the famous chili and bread. The food was delicious and the customer service from the owner Nick Franssen was great. I highly recommend that you stop by and grab a bite to eat prior to your Christmas shopping! This mall is very small and simple . But I happen to enjoy it . It's clean and has very relaxed vibe which I look forward too. Most malls especially the big ones give me anxiety from getting lost because it's like a Labyrinth , with levels and stores I need being at the opposite end or where I am . And with many confusing signs not to even find them getting exhausted all the while . That is not the problem here ,it's a straight shot from one to the other . I love the how they have bathrooms on the left right when you enter from the main entrance . And the Cafe is very good " try the turnkey adult grilled cheese . " sooo good when they are open . They have Dance Classes in on the right which is so unique and convenient.And massage chairs I looked forward to every visit . Black sheep store seems to have moved in and taken up a few of the shops but I hope to see new ones . Would be nice to see another healthy food option along with the Cafe wish they were open all the time , but something healthy and affordable definitely should be added. read more

Macys. Sears. Joanns. Sports Authority. Claire's. A couple antique shops. Bath & Body Works. A Payless shoes. JCPenny. A cpl clothing stores I've never heard of, a jewelry store, and of course the ever popular E-Juice kiosk. I wish it had more going on, but alas it did not. My mom walked around and hoped for a hip store to magically appear. When we got to the 'food court' we realized there is not 'court' just an option of a taco time and a shop. Don't get me wrong, its cute. its quaint, but yes oh yes is it small! Everyone is super nice, but really sad to have no selection. SO disappointing, since I was ready to shop till I dropped with my mom, but instead we just walked till we stopped. It's kinda like 1984 came here to die. . read more

Even though this is a smaller and quicker mall, I love it! You don't have to push and shove and the people are more friendly! I like getting help when I need it instead of the employees being too stuck up or busy to help. I would like to see a little more in the food court. Love Macy's and Bath and Body, I also get my nails done here. read more

Silver Lake Mall, a Ghost Town. The mall is nicely kept, clean, quite quite, the reason is, its so empty! not during the holidays almost half the stores are empty. On the other hand, its a nice mall to explore, but not every week, more like every couple months. Cause its all the same ;3 read more

This is a pretty sad little mall, with the smallest versions of J.C. Penny's and Macy's that I've ever seen. Still, all the staff was friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and well-laid out. They just don't have much selection. read more

Not a huge mall. Not a ton of selection. But the staff at local stores and chain are accommodating and helpful. It's great having a reasonably priced sports store in Coeur d Alene. The Macy's makeup counter staff is awesome! read more

What happened to my hometown mall??When I was younger, the place was bursting with all kinds of stores like Deb and the Bon, the food court and arcade were packed with families and though it was small, there was plenty to do. Now it's like a barren wasteland save for JCPenney and Macy's which will eventually be on their way out the door and a few scattered stores with little traffic. It's depressing to walk through and see all the empty storefronts for lease and the arcade sealed off with bricks. I'm not sure what happened but at this point, Silverlake Mall needs to be under new ownership who can afford to bring in the right businesses or, as much as I hate to say it, bulldozed and turned into a space for other companies to stake claim on. No one wants to visit an empty mall with 5-6 shops. read more
